Happy Monday everyone! I am super drained from such a fun weekend in Orlando with my dad + now I am off to San Francisco for two days…I am starting to feel like I am living out of a suitcase :p Fun fact, I am writing this post as I am stuck on the plane at the Orlando airport waiting to take off to LA…It’s already been over an hour and even a sleeping aid wasn’t able to get me to snooze after this major delay (seriously….delays are the w o r s t)!
Other than me sitting here complaining about my flight, let’s look on the bright side…I got to see my dad, visit Minion Mayhem at Universal + see Amy Schumer and Aziz Ansari this weekend…all in all the weekend was a win (minus this flight that is haha).
This outfit is an oldie but a goodie. It was actually shot by my brother last fall (I found it in the archives) and figured let me share it with you all because I mean it’s been waiting enough don’t ya think haha My entire outfit was purchased from various stores a year ago, B U T I found plenty of similar items below!
This beige faux fur vest is perfect for fall and it is super warm + cozy (this similar style at Bloomingdales is even on sale with coupons). My striped tee is a basic piece every fashionista needs because it transitions season to season + can be dressed up or down. My signature go-to jean (skinny dark wash) are also a fall must-have in my book!
As for my shoes, they are a favorite of mine and are from C Wonder (pre-going out of business :/). They are comfortable, match with everything and are the ideal fall hue — similar style here! I paired them with my Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag, a piece that has lasted me years now and is also great for any occasion!
Happy Monday! So it may not feel like fall yet in LA (I was literally sweating when shooting outfits yesterday haha — so of course I cooled down with some ice cream — more of that on SnapChat – MissyOnMadison :p)
Anyways, even though the weather doesn’t quite feel like fall, this outfit sure does! I teamed up with my favorite ShopTheMint.com to share a new fall look + a fun G I V E A W A Y! ($50 Gift Card anyone?)This look includes all of my favorite fall essentials! The Chambray Shirt Dress aka my favorite dress to be wearing this fall. It can be dressed up or down and I love how simple it is so it’s time to pile on the accessories!I paired the dress with this chic Maroon Floppy Hat (because my love for floppy hats is serious this season obv). I also am obsessed with this Paisley Scarf (also from Shop The Mint).
ShopTheMint.com has everything you can and will need for fall…I kind of want to shop some more right now…I may have a slight problem…oops :p
I am also obsessed with these Go Jane booties. With the chunky heel and the lace up details, they are ideal for fall adventures.
I also paired this look with pink aviators — my new alternative to the blue ones I have been wearing all summer long.
Happy Tuesday Lovers! It may be snowing here in NY but I’m still reminiscing about some of my favorite fall looks…like this little leopard number! This leopard cardigan (similar style…mine is not longer available) is my current obsession for fall…cozy, warm and guess what? It has a nice ‘pop’ of orange in addition to a chic leopard print…what more can a gal ask for for the cold weather months? To make the orange in the cardigan ‘pop‘ even more, I opted to wear a neon orange top underneath (the one I am wearing is from Old Navy and no longer available). I found a cute orange chiffon blouse that’s work appropriate as well from Last Call Neiman Marcus here.If it wasn’t already obvious…even in the coldest of temperatures, I still love to wear a skirt…especially a skater skirt like this one. A black skater skirt is an essential for every fashionistas because it can be dressed up or down for any occasion…nothing beats that! Now let’s break down the accessories…I never leave the house without a classic watch. A watch to me isn’t just a way to tell time, but it makes a statement…it truly shows a little bit about your personal style. For this look I decided to rock my new Caravelle NY wrap watch that when I look at it I instantly think ‘decadent chocolate‘…why does that come to mind? Easy…it’s brown leather and has sparkles…so that’s high class chocolate if you ask me haha! Now time for the shoe + bag swag! These Isola black suede fringed booties (on sale now for under $75 at 6pm!) are AMAZING…and I’m not just saying this because I am wearing them 😉 Black booties are always in style, but comfort is something that is a rare find…these Isola booties both have style and comfort…the way to every fashion lovers heart. My bag is actually a black leather Coach bucket bag that is truly vintage…my mom used to rock it while she was pregnant with me…designer love at a young age 😉 I found a few similar bags here + here.I for one wish I could be wearing this outfit today but unfortunately due to today’s ‘Noreaster’ that doesn’t seem likely :/ snow and rain go away…come again…never haha!| Click To Shop My Look |
Happy Friday Loves & TGIF! After an exhausting week and finally experiencing some fall weather, I am definitely ready to start looking forward to the weekend and what better way to do that than with a fall fresh look? 😉 This look is full of great fall colors like chestnut brown, leopard print and a little bit of plum. Oddly enough in addition to my fall ready accessories, I realized my pup Charlie is ready for fall himself with his blenheim fur coat which has….chestnut! Yes we matched on purpose 😉 My little Charlie is my best accessory…I mean can you see why? 🙂 Anyways let’s break down the look. My shoes are from Target…I saw J Crew had a pair three times the price and then found these identical ones from Merona and fell in love…leopard print is always a yes for fall!My Louis Vuitton clutch is vintage! My mom got it from Paris for her sixteenth birthday…talk about starting a trend back in the day…guess we know where my love for Louis Vuitton came from<3The purple statement cuff I am wearing is from Capwell + Co AND it is currently for sale in my Poshmark closet here! My white triangle necklace is an oldie but a goodie…I honestly have no clue where I got it but I found a similar one from T+J here. My chestnut chiffon blouse is from Old Navy but I found a similar one from Macy’s here. Purple is my favorite color…I wear it year round, but plum is perfect for fall! Skater skates are my favorite silhouette so I found my favorite skirt ever…this plum piece 🙂Now I’m off to put more fall fresh looks together…did I ever say blogging is hard work? Because trust me…it takes a lot of moving parts to make one of these style posts happen but hey it’s my passion <3Shop My Look<3
Happy Monday Loves! Today’s ‘Parisian Chic’ look is inspired from…Paris Fashion Week! It is in full swing and while I am definitely inspired from the fabulous runway shows…something else I am currently obsessed with? The impecible street style that is flooding my instagram feed, so I decided…while I may not be in attendance, I can certainly play the part right? My ‘Ooh La La’ sweater and floppy fall hat are both from Old Navy…no one said Parisian Chic can’t be cheap 😉 I LOVE this hat for fall…I am not typically a hat person but I fell head over heels for this one because it fits me perfectly and reminds me of something Rachel Zoe may wear. My black lace up heels are from my friends at NYLA! They are stunning for any occasion, super comfortable and I am loving the style…they are actually available in my Poshmark closet because they fit me a little off and I had to get a different size…my loss is your gain 😉 Want to score these babies 15% off? Simply head over to NYLAShoes.com and use code ‘MISSY15’ at checkout to receive 15% off your entire purchase…time for some fall shoe shopping! I’m not sure where my striped skater skirt is fun because I’ve had it for years, but I’m assuming Target…most of my fun skirts are from there! My red clutch chain bag is the ‘Melrose’ from Olivia & Joy…I got it on clearance from Macy’s and I actually discovered it comes in black as well…so I now feel tempted to get that one as well…oops!I loved shooting this look…I felt like it was different, unique and something I can actually see myself wearing on a day to day basis…hopefully in Paris 😉 Wishful thinking I know…Shop My Look<3
