And I am off…to LA that is! I can’t wait to be back amongst the palm trees and in my happy place! I am staying with Kristi (a little throwback to my last year’s LA excursion) and my brother is joining me this time around to visit some of his dream schools and get the full LA experience!

When it came to packing…well there were some hiccups. First off…my luggage broke…yea I only used it for two trips and the wheel is already busted so I had to make an impromptu trip to Kohls to get a new suitcase (big enough to fit all of the neon in my closet of course hehe) Did I mention how much love Kohls yet…because I seriously do <3 They have EVERYTHING!

Anyways…after solving the luggage problem, I packed a few pairs of shorts, plenty of shoes, a few bikinis and of course sunnies!

If only NYC warranted this kind of ensemble today. This is a little bit of a flashback and was shot when I was in Florida, but I am already planning my next visit…maybe this time Miami? When it comes to travel style the key is to bring accessories that can be transitioned into a bunch of looks…a signature pair of sunnies, a chic watch (like this Michael Kors one) and simple clothing…like this black skater skirt that can be worn at the pool, to dinner, to brunch or the beach (did I mention how much I LOVE skater skirts? Because I am pretty much obsessed). And I love to wear wedges…especially nude ones that can match with absolutely everything (these will definitely be in my suitcase for spring break)!

Winter storm Juno totally kicked my ~~ass~~ yesterday, on Long Island we got about 2 feet of snow (for proof see my insta…my dad snapped a pick in between plowing the driveway…and yes there was a shit ton of snow…~~despite~~ the 7 inches NYC got) so I was cooped up in the house all day with only one thing to do…dream of warmer weather and pack for my weekend trip to Florida…it’s about time I get out of NY and head for some sunshine! Casual Cardigan For Fall…

Happy Friday Loves! Finally time for a new outfit post and in true casual Friday fashion…I’m rocking a casual beginning of fall look 🙂 I’ve had this Old Navy beige cardigan for two years now and I absolutely love it! It’s comfy, matches with everything and in a way pulls any look together. While denim shorts scream summer (what can I say I really didn’t want summer to end), pairing them with a fall cardigan can transform it into the perfect September look. My white silk cami is from Top Shop, it’s my go to for nights out or just about any occasion because it’s simple, comfortable and always makes me feel sexy! I love this shot my brother got…he’s a creative one when he wants to be 🙂 These rope wedges are from Payless and are one of the most comfortable pairs of wedges I own. Sorry but this is my favorite bag pretty much…Rebecca Minkoff Affair bag…one of my NYFW go to’s 😉

My statement necklace is from Prima Donna…let me tell you it actually weighs a ton haha but I suppose the statement it makes is worth it. It is getting cooler in NY so I suppose I have to put the denim shorts away soon…I simply hate pants (no not in that way) but in general…I’m a skirts, shorts, dresses kind of gal! Shop My Look <3

Happy Throwback Thursday Loves! I’m sharing another fab look from my trip to the Hamptons a few weeks ago…this neon Charlotte Russe shift dress, Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag & my forever favorite Steve Madden Espadrille Wedges!If you are a Kardashian fan you will love to hear this…1) This photo was taken right in front of the Dash Pop-Up Shop in Southampton & 2) While I was shooting outfits in the village of Southampton, Kim, Kourtney, Kris & Khloe were having lunch, literally around the block from their pop-up shop…pretty awesome no? I knew it had to be them when I spotted guys with huge cameras everywhere…too bad they weren’t there to shoot me 😉 I love this neon dress. It’s simply gorgeous…while Charlotte Russe no longer has this exact dress I found a similar one from Dolce Vita at Zappos! My bag is from the fabulous Rebecca Minkoff…a cognac bag with neon trim? Count me in Rebecca 😉 In love with the ‘Affair’ bag! My wedges were a #FabFound find from Marshalls years ago. I love beige wedges for spring and summer…they are timeless and match with everything! That’s a win win in my book! I found a similar pair from Jildor by the fab Jimmy Choo (and they are on Sale!!)Every outfit…even neon requires some fab bling!
