    Disney For The Holidays…

RED TULLE SKIRT || WHITE CECELIA NY BOOTS || LOUNGEFLY BACKPACK || DISNEY TEE || DISNEY EARS || BUCKLEDOWN BELT

     🎄 WALKING IN A DISNEY WONDERLAND 🎄

It’s the most magical time of year so naturally I headed to the most magical place on earth…Disney World! I couldn’t wait to head to Disney World last week since I have never experienced the holiday season at Disney World and I heard it is truly something out of a winter wonderland. From festive treats to merry merch to delightful decor + so much more, experiencing Disney World during the holidays was honestly one of the best trips ever.

Before heading to Disney I fully prepped, I got a COVID test, brought plenty of masks, sanitizer and a thermometer to take my temp prior to heading to the park + I washed my hands at the park constantly (every time I did an outfit change in fact), I also brought sanitizing wipes on the plane as well – keeping safe is key for Disney and me so it felt good to see everyone doing their part in staying safe and following the protocols in place.

There’s so many exciting Holiday Magic Moments to cover from Disney and I am not sure where to start but let’s jump in with one of my favorite parts of every season change at Disney, the new merch! From Holiday ears to Christmas sweaters to home essentials + more, I stocked up on my favorites from the parks (in addition to some great giftables on ShopDisney that are in my Disney Gift Guide).

I love the new Peppermint Ears, Gingerbread Ears, Snowflake Ears + the Green and Red Ears perfect for the Holiday Season! They are great to wear at home while celebrating safely or at the parks with a festive look for the season! There’s also a new array of sweaters, Spirit Jerseys + so much more…way too much merch which left me buying way more than I had originally anticipated. One of my favorites are the Mickey and Minnie Gingerbread plushes because I mean look at how cute they are!

One of the best parts of Holidays at Disney is the DECOR so let’s take a look at some of the fun decor from my park visit below! From a decked out Main St to a festive Hollywood Studios, both parks go all out for the season. I love the Christmas trees, the wreaths, tinsel and of course the sparkle!

Another fun part of Magic Kingdom during the Holidays are all of the character cavalcades. From Winnie The Pooh and friends to the Princesses to Mickey, Minnie and the gang to Goofy and the Gingerbread, there are so many cute character moments constantly happening throughout the park making for plenty of fun magic moments.

Now let’s dive in to the FOOD! We enjoyed yummy treats at Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom, some I loved more than others so here’s the deal!

First up is the Belle’s Enchanted Christmas Tree at Gaston’s Tavern! It’s made of almond macarons (the green) with cranberry orange cream (the red), and a yellow M&M right on top.

Next up are the Chip and Dale Christmas Churros – Gingerbread churros topped with apple pie filling and chocolate chips available at one of the carts to the right of the castle in Magic Kingdom. This was hands down my favorite Holiday Treat from the park.

Next up is the An Orange Bird Christmas – Orange–scented white chocolate mousse filled with orange curd – Available at Sunshine Tree Terrace.

Another yummy treat is the Pistachio Chai Tea Float – Pistachio soft–serve, spiced chai tea, and a red velvet cake pop ornament – Available at Aloha Isle.

One of the yummiest treats I had at Magic Kingdom the Let it Snow Taco – Sugar cookie “taco shell” filled with salted caramel and spiced chocolate mousse – Available at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe in frontier land!

I LOVED this Frozen Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate – Frozen salted caramel hot chocolate topped with marshmallows, green sugar, and a chocolate drizzle served with a souvenir Mickey Glow – Available at PizzeRizzo, Backlot Express, ABC Commissary, and Rosie’s All–American Café at Hollywood Studios.

Disney World will forever be my happy place but during the Holidays it’s extra special! Book your trip now as it’s a great time to spend the most wonderful time of year at the most magical place on earth.

     🎃  SPOOKY MOMENTS  🎃

I’m back to reality this week after spending a magical week in Orlando at Disney World to kick off the fall season as part of #DisneyCreators! I had the amazing opportunity to hang with other influencers + experience everything new for Halloween at Walt Disney World Resort from new merchandise to tasty treats to spooky decor + more. There were so many favorites so here’s a few Halloween highlights I wanted to share with y’all!

    THE DECORATIONS

One of my favorite parts of Halloween at Disney World are the festive decorations. Nothing makes me happier than seeing Mickey pumpkins line Main Street and this year they are back in full force along with fall leaves and adorable signage.

    CHARACTER MOMENTS

Since there are no character meet + greets currently at Disney World as part of their safety guidelines for COVID, there are fun character cavalcades that go around the parks at various times throughout the day. I loved the Halloween ones at Magic Kingdom like the one with Winnie the Pooh and friends dressed up in Halloween costumes or the Nightmare Before Christmas float complete with spooky music from the movie + more! This was one of my favorite parts of Magic Kingdom to keep the spooky spirit alive and well.

    MERCHANDISE

You know I love stocking up on new Disney merch and the new goodies didn’t disappoint from Spirit Jerseys to Popcorn buckets to Ears to Plushes, Decor + more…I love all the spooky must haves and definitely stocked up on a ton from ShopDisney and from WDW!

Villain Clue was a must have + I couldn’t wait to buy it and I can’t wait to play it!

    THE FOOD

OK, other than stocking up on merch you know one of my favorite things to enjoy during Halloween at Disney World are the yummy treats! From desserts to drinks to savory snacks + more, Disney never disappoints when it comes to the food! One of my favs? The Pumpkin Spice Milkshake – how cute is it?

I also LOVED the Pumpkin Spiced Waffle Sundae + Orange and Black Sugar Churros. Honestly all the food is way to yummy! Full food roundup on the Disney Parks Blog!

While there are more safety precautions in place this time around, it didn’t make the experience any less magical, in fact smaller crowds, more opportunities for photos + short lines for rides + food! It was pretty magical if you ask me!

P.S. I made it to the Disney Parks Blog if you want to check it out HERE!

Tips To Planning A Disney Trip…

White Eyelet Skirt || White Wedges || Danielle Nicole Purse || Tie Dye Disney Sweatshirt || Mint Green Minnie Ears

♥ Everything You Need To Know For Disney Planning During COVID ♥

We’ve been in a pandemic for over 6 months now. Lots of unanswered questions, future unknown + moods haven’t been the best. We’ve been quarantined at home, beginning the steps of wedding planning, avoiding going out but next week that changes for me. I’ll be heading to Orlando for a press trip with Disney along with meeting with vendors for the wedding + overall planning for what’s ahead.

I’m excited to head to Orlando but also nervous. I am taking every safety precaution seriously and anxious to see the extra steps put in place at Disney to keep everyone safe, healthy + happy so I wanted to share some things to keep in mid if you are planning a Disney World trip during this uncertain time.

     1. REFERENCE THE DISNEY WORLD WEBSITE FOR RESORT CLOSURES + PARK HOUR CHANGES

Currently the Walt Disney World Resort is opening limited resorts, restaurants etc so it’s important when planning your trip to see what is open, what is not + what are the new park hours given the updated park status. For example, the Polynesian Resort is closed until 2021 as it is being re-designed to be made Moana theme while other resorts are closed due to refurbishments + overall not having every resort open at once to limit overall capacity for safety pre-cautions.

     2. NO PARK HOPPING

A new regulation in place at Walt Disney Resort due to COVID is that you can no longer park hop. You can only go to one park per day to prevent spreading any possible germs from location to location. No word on when park hopping will resume but for now this is the policy in place.

     3. MAKE PARK RESERVATIONS AHEAD OF TIME

New Walt Disney World Resort policy is that in order to visit one of the 4 theme parks, you must purchase tickets (or have your annual pass) ahead of time and book the day and park you want to attend in advance. This policy is in place to limit park getting filled above limited capacity currently in place to keep everyone safe. If you are planning a trip it’s key to book the days at the parks in advance to assure you get to go to the park on the days you want.

     4. MASKS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES IN THE PARK

I’m packing over 50 masks with me to match the looks I’m bringing to Disney given I will try to shoot some content while I am there, but overall the mask policy is while visiting any of the 4 parks you must wear a mask and you can’t take it off for pictures or any other reason other than to eat which you can’t do while walking to avoid people walking around maskless.

    5. PACK YOUR SANITIZER, WIPES + ALL OTHER CLEAN ESSENTIALS TO USE THROUGHOUT THE DAY

I am going to the parks fully prepared with Clorox wipes, extra masks, plenty of sanitizer + more to make sure I have everything I need on me to keep clean. It’s important to sanitize after touching every surface and the wipes are handy for any transportation or rides you may be going on (including the airplane – I wipe down every inch of my seat, tray table, window etc to avoid any remaining bacteria. I also wipe down every piece of luggage often whether carry on or checked to make sure I am not touching what could have been touched by others.

     6. PLAN YOUR MEALS AHEAD OF TIME

At the parks not every restaurant or fast service location is open so be sure to scope out the situation on the My Disney Experience app ahead of time to avoid getting hangry without knowing where to go to grab lunch or dinner.

     7. ENJOY YOURSELF + BE SAFE

While we are living in a time with a lot of uncertainty, if you are planning a Disney trip make sure to be safe. Keep your distance, wear your mask, sanitize and wash your hands often, don’t touch your face, eyes or mouth until you have fully cleansed your hands etc, and most importantly think before acting – so often I will touch a surface + then out of habit go about my day…nope you must wipe down or sanitize everything to assure you avoid the spread of germs!

    ♥ Recapping the #DisneyCreators Trip ♥

It’s been a crazy month since I got back from the #DisneyCreators trip! I have begun planning my dream Disney Wedding, Disney has shut down due to Coronavirus + I have been going a little stir crazy at home practicing my best social distancing, so I figured now was as good a time as any to finally recap the entire #DisneyCreators trip!

First let’s start off with a brief overview of what this #DisneyCreators Trip was since I got a lot of questions about it on social media!

The #DisneyCreators Trip was a 8 day trip – 4 days at Walt Disney World + 4 days on the Disney Dream from Disney Cruiseline exclusively for influencers within the Disney creator network. The influencers on the trip were invited by the Disney team and what I thought was so cool is that they invited all different types of influencers who LOVE + post Disney! From mommy bloggers to travel Youtubers to Disney Style fashion influencers like me, it was awesome to meet all different types of creators + make new friends all with a common obsession – DISNEY!

Now that you are familiar with what the trip was let me break down some of my favorite moments of the trip!

First up – Recapping some of the best parts of the Disney World  part of the trip  based on day (figured that’s the easiest way to review!)♥

    DAY ONE

We checked in to the brand NEW Riviera Resort that was only 2 months old + beyond amazing! The resort has multiple pools, great dining + a beautiful view. I loved the French Riviera theme and one of my favorite parts of the resort is that they have their own line of merch from exclusive Minnie Ears to Hats to Luggage to Pandora Charms to Plushes, Pins + More! I stocked up on all their plushes which actually match the characters at the character dining experience they have for breakfast + dinner at Topolino’s Terrace! The food is beyond delicious + I love the character’s outfits of course.

After checking in + having breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace we relaxed for a little bit and then I headed to Epcot to kick of the #DisneyCreators Trip with a welcome dinner hosted by Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein who also plays Ahsoka in multiple Star Wars animated features. The food was delicious, we got to network with other influencers and then explore Epcot a bit before meeting up again for a dessert party later that night! We got to enjoy yummy treats while watching the Epcot Forever Fireworks show!missyonmadison, missyonmadison blog, la blogger, missyonmadison instagram, melissa tierney, disney creators, disney creators trip, disney world, disney bound, disney trip tips, how to plan your disney trip, disney creator, disney cruiseline, disney cruiseline review, disney cruiseline tips, disney blogger, disney fan, disney lover, missyonmadison, missyonmadison blog, la blogger, missyonmadison instagram, melissa tierney, disney creators, disney creators trip, disney world, disney bound, disney trip tips, how to plan your disney trip, disney creator, disney cruiseline, disney cruiseline review, disney cruiseline tips, disney blogger, disney fan, disney lover,

    DAY TWO

We started the day by heading to the Contemporary Convention Center for a day filled with informative panels, fun giveaways, sponsorship showcase + more to educate all of us Disney influencers more about upcoming Disney developments, new launches + more!

We got to meet the actor behind the voice of Mickey Mouse, learn more about how TikTok is taking over social media + tons more, it was super helpful, informative and fun.

That night we then headed to Magic Kingdom for some ride time, sweet treats + my favorite fireworks show of all, the Happily Ever After show!missyonmadison, missyonmadison blog, la blogger, missyonmadison instagram, melissa tierney, disney creators, disney creators trip, disney world, disney bound, disney trip tips, how to plan your disney trip, disney creator, disney cruiseline, disney cruiseline review, disney cruiseline tips, disney blogger, disney fan, disney lover, missyonmadison, missyonmadison blog, la blogger, missyonmadison instagram, melissa tierney, disney creators, disney creators trip, disney world, disney bound, disney trip tips, how to plan your disney trip, disney creator, disney cruiseline, disney cruiseline review, disney cruiseline tips, disney blogger, disney fan, disney lover,

    DAY 3

OK, so Day 3 was one of my favorite days at the parks! We kicked things off with an early morning trip to Pandora – The World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom. We got exclusive ride time before the park opened to ride Avatar Flight of Passage which was AMAZING (well worth the wait honestly, I know understand the hype) + Na’vi River Journey which was super fun. We rode the rides, snapped pics + enjoyed a yummy breakfast there in the park!

    DAYS 4 + 5

Day 4 was a busy day! We checked out of the Riviera Resort + headed to the Disney Dream part of the Disney Cruise Line. We embarked on a 4 day 3 night cruise to Nassua Bahamas + Castaway Cay! It was my first time ever on a cruise so it was a whole new world for me. Unlimited EVERYTHING – I was in heaven from yummy food to dessert to all the pools + more…I couldn’t get enough of everything. I headed to the Senses Spa on board for a few treatments + relaxed in the Rainforest room that has sauna, jacuzzi + more. There’s tons of entertainment on the ship from adult only clubs to theater to movies…there’s a little something for everyone even kids with the kids club!

After boarding the ship we checked in to our stateroom + began to explore. The first night we had dinner at Animator’s Palate which was my favorite dining on the ship. They had tasty dishes + the interactive characters on screens around the dining area was super fun as well.

The next day we docked in Nassau, Bahamas where you were free to explore the island or go off on excursions to see what the island has to offer. I decided to stay on the ship to explore all the activities, dining, shopping + areas. Fun fact there’s no tax when shopping on the ship! PLUS there are tons of Disney Cruise Line exclusive merch only available on the ship like Minnie Ears, Pandora Charms, Luggage, Purses, Plushes + more…I definitely stocked up.

    DAY 6

Day 6 was my favorite day on the cruise because we docked at Castaway Cay, Disney’s own private island! You had the whole day to explore the island which had bars, tons of BBQ, shopping + a family beach and Serenity Bay which was an adult only beach if you wanted a little quiet time.

I loved being able to meet characters too that were in fun island themed outfits + snap some great pics around the island. You can rent kayaks, beach bikes + more if you are on the sporty side! There were also a lot of activities to do as well + the cutest island exclusive merch! missyonmadison, missyonmadison blog, la blogger, missyonmadison instagram, melissa tierney, disney creators, disney creators trip, disney world, disney bound, disney trip tips, how to plan your disney trip, disney creator, disney cruiseline, disney cruiseline review, disney cruiseline tips, disney blogger, disney fan, disney lover, missyonmadison, missyonmadison blog, la blogger, missyonmadison instagram, melissa tierney, disney creators, disney creators trip, disney world, disney bound, disney trip tips, how to plan your disney trip, disney creator, disney cruiseline, disney cruiseline review, disney cruiseline tips, disney blogger, disney fan, disney lover, missyonmadison, missyonmadison blog, la blogger, missyonmadison instagram, melissa tierney, disney creators, disney creators trip, disney world, disney bound, disney trip tips, how to plan your disney trip, disney creator, disney cruiseline, disney cruiseline review, disney cruiseline tips, disney blogger, disney fan, disney lover, missyonmadison, missyonmadison blog, la blogger, missyonmadison instagram, melissa tierney, disney creators, disney creators trip, disney world, disney bound, disney trip tips, how to plan your disney trip, disney creator, disney cruiseline, disney cruiseline review, disney cruiseline tips, disney blogger, disney fan, disney lover,

    It’s FINALLY here!

Mike + I are off to Disney World in Orlando today (our flight is later on tonight) so I spent last night packing my life into 2 suitcases haha(see more on my instastoriesMissyOnMadison)! We are celebrating my birthday which is just days away + our anniversary and what better place to do that than at the most magical place on earth – DISNEY! I have been such a Disney (and Universal fan) ever since I was a kid. My family used to go all the time + we went to all of the parks + would have breakfast + dinner with our favorite characters. Although I am turning 26 (crazy how fast time is passing by) I am still such a kid at ♥ so that’s why I am sharing some of my favorite Disney pieces to rock at the park or just in general!

I actually found this Mickey + Minnie tee for just $5 (YES just $5) at Walmart! It comes in a variety of sizes + is perfect if you are trying to dress for the occasion on a budget 🙂

    CLOTHES

These sneakers aren’t Disney related haha BUT they make for a comfy shoe to wear to the park + cost under $40!!! I was going to splurge on a bag too but this time didn’t but I am obsessed with all of these accessories below.

    SHOES, BAGS + JEWELS

Now for the fun part…my Minnie Mouse Ears! Ok so Mike thinks I am crazy, but how adorable are these customized Minnie Ears I scored for under $40 on Etsy! I wanted to be prepared + save money before going to the park and discovered Etsy is filled with TONS of customized Minnie Ears.

    MINNIE EARS
