Merry Christmas Eve ladies and gents! Every Christmas Eve my family has the tradition of my siblings and I going to my grandparents house, opening presents and having some quality family time (which due to our busy schedules tends to fall to the wayside). The holiday season is the perfect time to catch up with family, friends and of course…rock some glam pieces from your closet…duh! That’s my favorite part of the holiday season…dressing up 😉 All black everything…jk just my Dora Landa NY Lace & Faux Leather Top and my Catherine Malandrino for Kohls Drop Waist Skirt (which also has hints of lace…can you spot them?). Both pieces are timeless classics and will forever be mixed and matched from season to season.While I went simple with my black on black top and skirt, my accessories definitely added some much need ‘sass‘ to this look. I tend to wear a lot of black around the holiday season because you can always dress it up with the right shoes and handbag and even…jewelry, which is exactly what I did here!My jewelry is from Capwell + Co…scored at a sample sale (both pieces are in my Poshmark closet here + here) because I always try to snag a great deal (luckily with Capwell + Co all of their pieces are affordable!). I found a similar amethyst cuff and amethyst ring (both on sale now) here + here.I instantly fell head over ‘heels’ for A) this gorgeous purple bow bag that is (drumroll please) from Target! + B) these stunning leopard ‘Valentino Rockstud’ inspired pumps (available in my Poshmark closet here).Skirts or dresses are always my go to when it comes to getting ‘glam’ for any occasion and yes that even includes family affairs for Christmas 😉 What girl doesn’t love to play dress up when given an excuse?On a side note…I am SUPER excited to share that Christmas came a little early for me…I got a pretty awesome present and in true ‘Christmas’ fashion, I won’t reveal it till tomorrow when I share some present sharing glam on the blog 😉 So check back tomorrow to unwrap my exciting gift that guess what…will keep on giving!| Click To Shop My Look |

Back To Chambray…

Happy Humpday Loves! This title was slightly creative on my part. This outfit was shot at my elementary school on Long Island! Talk about back to school…or in this case back to Chambray because this top has been in my closet since the fall and it is even better because it can be worn year round! It came back around again 😉 A great ‘Shop Genius’ find from Nordstrom Rack…oh how I love a good deal!In addition to rocking a great chambray find, I am sporting a piece from the Catherine Malandrino Collection for Kohls…total price? $10…yes people, $10. I always wait for the designer collections to hit the clearance sections of Kohls and Target…9 times out of 10 they never sell out…unless it’s Missoni because that flew off the shelves, nothing in the clearance section there!Gotta love a ‘whip my hair’ moment…joys of a 13 year old being your photographer…she catches every moment! Knowing me, bling and a killer manicure is always involved when it comes to an outfit post! I will never get sick of this ‘Borrowed Blue’ Essie nail polish, my Michael Michael Kors Gold Chain Watch or my ‘M’ Initial Necklace which I received from my Grandma when I was little…sometimes the basics never go out of style! Another signature must have that will never fade…nude wedges! Steve Madden is one of my go to designers when it comes to footwear especially wedges because they are so comfortable! You can actually shop mine on Poshmark {I love them but I need to make room in my closet…the amount of shoes I own is scary haha}In addition to my love for nude wedges…I love a great nude / beige bag. This Coach one does just the trick. I feel every gal needs a great cross body bag for day trips, nights out and more…this bag has room for all your essentials and is amazing quality because it’s Coach of course! Like My Look? Chic In Pink!

When I slipped into this outfit i fell in love…a flared out skirt from the Catherine Malandrino collection for Kohls, an elegant pink sweater, a chic quilted black bag and some classic black suede pumps…what more can a girl ask for to look classy, sassy and sophisticated!

I love this skirt because of the lace insert details in the pleats…even though I bought this from Kohls (on clearance I may add!) you would never be able to tell that from looking at it. That’s something I love about designer collaborations with retail giants…although the clothing and accessories are created with a lower price point in mind, they never skimp on style or quality!

In addition to swooning over this skirt, as always, I love a ‘Pop Of Color‘ (I think Brad Goreski is my fashion soul mate, bow tie and all) because even in the winter when women are seen wearing black from head to toe, I have a thing for standing out and making a statement 😉 so rocking this pink Old Navy sweater was a definite ‘Must‘!

And the best way to pull any look together, especially once you add some color, is with simple accessories…a chic black Rebecca Minkoff bag and classy black pumps! You can never go wrong with black accessories!
