Flirty Friday Florals…

Happy Friday Loves! Time to flashback to one of my favorite trends…florals (earth shattering I know)…everytime I talk about florals I think of Miranda Preistly from my favorite chick flick ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ — ‘Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking…’ Well as a matter of fact…I believe florals for winter are definitely…groundbreaking 😉 Just don’t tell Miranda!Friday’s are typically casual in every office place so what does that mean to me? A fun printed skirt paired with a simple cable knit sweater like this one from Old Navy that can transition from the board room to happy hour!My floral scuba skirt (which apparently is the ‘it’ material to have this year) is from Target but I found a very similar skirt from J Crew here. My sweater like I mentioned above is from Old Navy AND it is on sale now here!Let’s break down the most important part of any look…the shoes and the bag duh! My cobalt blue quilted clutch is from Lord & Taylor and is no longer available…however I am selling it on my Poshmark here! If you want to try different alternatives check out ones here + here. My shoes are from my social media crush Cameron Silver for Nine West. I LOVE Cameron’s style because he loves a good pop of color just like ya girl here 😉 If you don’t know who he is maybe you remember a show called ‘Dukes Of Melrose’ that aired on my go to network…Bravo. Cameron is part owner of the most popular vintage shop called Decades in LA and he has the most eccentric style and he is hilarious yet moving on social media…you must check him and his shoes out. These pumps are comfortable, unique and pretty much to die for…plus they are under $50 here!So on a little side note…I did some holiday shopping for myself…I know, I know holidays are a time for giving…but hey who said you can’t give yourself a little something right? Pretty In Pink…

Happy Monday Loves! October isn’t just a month filled with fall festivals, pumpkins and Halloween decorations…October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, a cause dear to my heart. I’ve come to discover that everyone has in some way, shape or form been affected by Breast Cancer. Breast Cancer runs in my family and this time of year is a reminder to visit the doctor and take pre-caution…always be aware of what can happen and what steps to take to prevent it. Please join me in donating to one of the numerous foundations that help raise funds for preventative research and to find a cure 🙂Pink is the color that comes to mind when you think of Breast Cancer Awareness. The pink ribbon represents hope and the continued fight we all take part in to work towards a cure…so I decided a pink ensemble was a must to commemorate. My light pink pleated skirt is from Target…it’s such a girly piece and I love it! I paired it with my favorite black crop top from Jennifer Lopez for Kohls and my signature LC By Lauren Conrad white blazer. Happy Monday lovers! I’m so excited about today’s post because not only am I sharing my new fav handbag for summer…this incredible Jelly Tote from Dominie Luxury, but also because I teamed up with Laila Rowe to give away this stunning statement necklace I’m rocking in this post 🙂 YAY! Also, if your wondering how I came up with the name of today’s post…it’s inspired from a line my dad always says…’Feelin Froggy, Wanna Leap?’, so I revamped it to ‘Feelin Jelly, Wanna Win?’…this man will never stop inspiring my creativity haha

First off, I fell in love when I spotted this bag…one of my first handbags as a young girl was a purple jelly log bag from Limited Too…I thought I was the coolest kid in the 3rd grade, little did I know years later that Jelly Bags would make their comeback, but in such a different way! See what makes Dominie Luxury bags special and unique isn’t simply the quality (trust me even my mom was impressed when this baby arrived at my house…now for my mom to be impressed that’s a HUGE deal, the woman only wears Chanel…need I say more?) You can instantly rejuvinate a bag simply by adding different liners! Such a brilliant idea if you ask me 🙂While the bag makes the outfit, so do the shoes…these Nine West pumps by Cameron Silver are ones I will never get sick of…hello, pink soles? A Splash Of Color

Nothing sucks more than a dreary, rainy day in NYC…it totally brings down your mood, puddles everywhere and usually an excuse to dress cozy and warm rather than fun and flirty. So in order to brighten up on this rainy day I bring you some color inspiration thanks to Karen Kane, Nine West and Hue jeggings.

Yes, you caught me, I’m not rocking this colorful ensemble today…simply for the sole fact that I think if I wore this today the ladies in my office would think I had my seasons mixed up, but still I try to always incorporate color into my everyday outfits! This outfit however I love! I spotted this adorable Karen Kane hot pink moto vest on their website and had to have it…because what girl doesn’t like sporting a little pink every now and again?!

I always try to break up the color with some darker, neutral tones, like these great olive colored jeggings from Hue. If you haven’t tried jeggings or Hue…your seriously missing out on life. They fit any figure like a glove and are reasonably priced. Best part? They come in numerous styles, textures, colors and lengths…making them literally perfect for any girl! They are great to move around in whether it’s at the office, at a club…or simply running around town on a busy day.

Another part I love about this outfit? These Nine West gray pumps with neon pick lining and sole. Something I love about all my clothes, shoes and accessories, is that they all have a little story behind them…these babies are no exception. I scored these limited edition ‘Cameron Silver for Nine West‘ pumps for FREE..yes people free, during there Rockefeller Center store re-launch. I was one of the first 9 people at the store when they opened and received a $100 Nine West gift card which of course I used to purchase hot pink shoes because seriously when else does an opportunity arise to score hot pink pumps for free? Uhh never! Also, Cameron, the designer is incredibly social on social media…making me love him even more every time I wear and post his fabulous shoes!

Anyways, I’m off to another busy day at the FFANY office! Don’t let the rain get ya down and shop my ‘Splash Of Color’ look below 🙂
