♥ Did someone say milkshake?! ♥

ICYMI – my boo + I switched things up recently by doing a fun retro esq shoot at one of my fav themed restaurants, Johnny Rockets! I have always been fond of the 50s since I acted in my elementary school play of Grease hehe :p so naturally when I snagged this little polka dot number I knew it was fate I shoot it 50s style! From milkshakes to old juke boxes, I am living for this shoot + look, and hopefully you will too ♥

I have always been a fan of polka dots, especially when it comes to dresses. The design is so chic + feminine, perfect for my inner girly girl. This dress is from an online boutique call Lucy Ave + I LOVE it! The fit, the style, the price…it’s a total MUST HAVE for your spring wardrobe!

I planned this outfit to match the decor in Johnny Rockets so I paired this dress with classic statement making red suede pumps + red mini backpack…because as you all know, I LIVE for a bold ‘POP’ of Color!

My biggest style motto is always incorporate Pops Of Color! If you don’t follow me on Instagram yet, I highly recommend you do hehe :p I love brightening people’s days through bright, colorful content + I started a little Quote Of The Day series on my instastories to spread good vibes daily.

I got this mini red backpack from the UK brand Grafea + I am totally buggin (can you tell I watched Clueless while writing this? haha). I have been obsessed with mini bags lately, especially backpacks + this one is a bright bold color AND comes with a cute pom pom accessory, I mean what more does a gal need?!

As for my sunnies…I mean how can you not find these heart shaped frames adorable? I bought them on Amazon in a set of 3 to have a variety of colors for under $20! Total score!

My heels are my handy red suede pumps. I style them constantly for work or play since they make such a chic bold statement matched with neutrals etc.

Every time I wear black + yellow I instantly feel like a bumble bee :p So since we are approaching spring which means fresh flowers + plenty of bumble bees, I figured I may as well embrace this little black + yellow ensemble! Whether you are looking for a cute little outfit for work, or want to opt for a bold look while hanging with your crew, this outfit is one I am loving for spring.

As if I am not yellow enough, I had to stand in front of a yellow background hehe :p Clearly I have a thing for color as if that weren’t already obvious…and my mission is to make you fall in love with color as well.

This yellow denim jacket is a great piece to add to your wardrobe so you can easily incorporate color into your everyday look. Style it with a classic white tee and jeans, a dress, or a skirt + bodysuit like I did here…it is a perfect statement making piece for spring.

My basics are great pieces to invest in as well. I LOVE this black skater skirt from Amazon (and it comes in multiple colors + is beyond flattering). My white bodysuit is also a key piece to have in your closet for everyday styling.

I love that throwback designer pieces are all the rage now-a-days so that means I can pull my little Prada Nylon Shoulder Bag out of retirement to style in 2019! Isn’t it so fun to see pieces you rocked in middle school + high school make a comeback? 😉

Since I am a firm believer that you can never wear too much color, I matched my jacket to these yellow heeled sandals.

Calling all movie lovers! We all know there’s nothing better than lounging around and watching a good film that will have you wishing it will never end! I’m rounding up some of my favorite films, from drama to romance to thrillers! Put on your favorite PJ’s and grab your popcorn, its movie night!

500 Days of Summer

Who doesn’t love a good romantic film right? Well this is a romance film with a twist.. This movie will make you realize that not every fairytale has a happy ending. It follows the story of Tom and Summer, who start off their romance like any other “fairytale” but are later exposed to the hardships of love.

If you aren’t a fan of scary movies, you might want to skip this one! This movie will have you at the edge of your seat, all while being a tad bit terrified.. or maybe VERY terrified!

The plot tells the story of a scary book who comes alive and haunts a mother and son, but you’ll have to watch to find out what happens next!
