It’s 11pm and I am cracking up watching ‘Southern Charm‘ on Bravo (my guilty pleasure) as I am writing this post…If you haven’t watched it, I highly recommend it…it’s some high quality television (ok not really but it is pretty funny and I am thinking a southern man may be the type of guy I should be going after haha). Speaking of class and southern charm…today’s outfit post is a little outfit inspo for the spring of what to wear to the office. The second the temperature heats up in NYC it’s hard to dress both comfortably and appropriate (it’s a constant struggle…I want to show up in denim shorts and a tee but kinda can’t do that…ugh!) but today’s look accomplishes both :p

Someone has a case of the Mondays…and I think it may be me…#oops! I barely got any sleep last night because I was up late getting sucked in to my new favorite show ‘The Royals‘…have any of you watched it? Because I am kind of obsessed. Then just as I was about to head to sleep, I had to spend time on the phone with a little gecko by the name of Geico (I am researching new cars and needed to get quotes on insurance…boy isn’t being an adult fun lol #not) Anyways…Monday blues would be nothing without a new blue coat right? I scored this blue coat at the end of the season on sale (the perfect time to shop if you ask me).
One of the things I love about blogging and working in the fashion industry is the opportunity to connect and collaborate with new, exciting and emerging designers…now while the designer I am referring to in this post is far from emerging, she is new to many…Aimee Kestenberg. I first met Aimee a couple of years ago while working at my first full time job out of college. She was showing her gorgeous bags at a New York city tradeshow and I loved her style, personality and of course her handbags! So when I discovered Aimee had yet to work with any bloggers I assured her that the world had to see her fabulous styles and I was just the person to help share them (well at least I wanted to be the person to share them haha!) So Aimee and I have teamed up to bring you a stylish giveaway…YOU can enter to win a camo satchel just like mine so we can be #twinning 😉 How adorable right?! haha but for real who wants a free handbag? Read on to find out more…
I kept my look simple because I wanted the bag to take focus (this bag is not yet available…it’s a brand new design for Aimee, but stay tuned for when it will be available). Sometimes all black everything really does wonders when you are wearing a statement piece like a camo bag.

Happy Wednesday Loves! Time to share my last look that was shot by the fabulous William Thomas at the Martha Clara Vineyard out on Eastern Long Island. This adorable barn was the perfect backdrop for this fall look which is mostly from…drum roll please…Kohls! Yup…not kidding my bag (out of stock similar from Michael Kors here), top and moto jacket all from Kohls 🙂
The second I spotted this bag I fell in love because it reminded me of the Stella McCartney signature bag that has been spotted on celebrities everywhere. I love a great ‘Look For Less’ alternative and while this bag is actually out of stock on the Kohls website, I found a very similar one still in the ‘reasonable’ price range from Michael Kors 🙂My burgundy jeggings are from Hue. Hue is one of my go to brands for comfy fall bottoms. I love jeans, but Hue jeggings and leggings just hug every curve perfectly…my dream <3 Black suede pumps for fall are also a necessity…can’t step out without standing out in classic pumps!
My gray moto jacket is from Apt. 9 at Kohls…I loved it so much I actually got it in a powder blue as well (stay tuned to see it styled two ways!). Moto jackets for fall are a total must in Missy’s world! And the top my post is named after…Juicy Couture for Kohls. It’s funny…I worshipped Juicy Couture in middle school and had their infamous velour track suits in every color (typical Long Island pre-teen what can I say)…now years later here I am rocking the more affordable Juicy Couture line on my blog…some things never change huh?
These red, black and gray hues scream fall and I think they are staples for the season, don’t you?

Happy Thursday Loves! Whether it’s the dead of winter or the hottest day over the summer, one trait I always include in my looks is color! Season to season, colorful hues and playful prints have been a staple for every gal’s wardrobe (including at this past NYFW for SS 15).
The key to wearing print properly is to mix and match a top and bottom that mesh well together. I love this yellow and blue aztec print skirt from Target because there are so many ways to style the fun print. Today I’m rocking it with a dark wash chambray pullover from Old Navy, but last time I wore it I rocked silver pumps and a simple black bandeau…a little risky but hey I opted for sexy that day…today’s version…strictly business 😉
My black leather clutch was a clearance find at Last Call Neiman Marcus…they have been my go to for handbags on a budget without forgoing on quality or the designer label. Most of my favorite handbags from them however have been their own line of bags from the ‘Neiman Marcus’ collection. They are usually designer inspired and at a fraction of the price!
I also feel a ‘professional’ look must be completed with the perfect planner to keep me on track for the day, my personalized date book is from Graphic Image NY. My black suede pumps are essential for fall and for the office. Steve Madden has them is so many different versions…colors, shape, heel height…but these ones are my favorite.
On a side note…while I love this outfit, I’m also loving how my hair was actually well behaved in these photos…don’t you love when that happens? Check out my secret to perfectly curled hair here 🙂
