Summer is just around the corner + that means plenty of pool days, relaxing afternoons + ice cold beverages to keep cool on those hot LA days. I live about 30 miles east of LA in Valencia which gets hot, hot, hot in the summer because it is pretty much desert. I am still in the midst of organizing and decorating my new home but wanted to share a sneak peek of what I have accomplished so far with decorating featuring pieces from Best Home Fashion!

We wanted something bright and airy to lighten up our bedroom so we went with these Best Home Fashion Tulle Overlay Curtains! They are under $50 and are perfect to wake up to every morning. They slowly wake us up as the sunshine peeps through and honestly it makes the morning a joyful time for us now (even though my boyfriend is far from a morning person haha)!

Highlighting the gorgeous design of these curtains was a bit of a challenge in my place because the sun always gets in the way haha BUT I felt the website image really showcases the beauty below.

Embracing My Curls with SheaMoisture

#HairGoals for the win! Every gal wants a good hair day, the struggle however…finding the right products to get you there! Being a beauty influencer, I have tried multiple brands of hair care products from high end to drugstore brand + each had traits I liked but none of them had the whole package (as silly as that sounds). Luckily I found my saving grace…SheaMoisture!.

I’ve discovered that their products work great on my wavy hair! My hair is not coarse but it does get knotty with my keratin extensions AND it is long, color treated + needs a ton of love, care + attention.

I tried the 100% Extra Virgin Coconut Oil Head To Toe Nourishing Hydration, Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo, Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner.

All of the products are readily available at my local Walmart store or you can order online and pickup in store too. I love doing this at Walmart because it’s super convenient when you realize you are running low on product and forget to pick them up.

The Curl & Shine Shampoo Coconut & Hibiscus + the Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner (LINK) have become my new go-to when I wash my hair. They help smooth my hair and avoid frizz, make my hair easier to brush through to avoid tangles + knots from my extensions AND they leave my hair with a shine as if I just left the salon. I washed my hair the day before I curled it and look at how shiny my hair looks a day later!

The 100% Extra Virgin Coconut Oil Head to Toe Nourishing Hydration is great for when my color treated hair needs a little extra attention. It helps restore and hydrate it after a little too much bleach, chlorine or sun. It also smells delicious (don’t you love when your hair smells so good all you want to do is sniff it all day? Haha :P)! This product is also great to use after washing your hair and letting it air dry. I tend to wash my hair a day or so after I use styling tools on it and I feel like my hair is begging for hydration so I usually wash and condition and then follow up with a treatment like this one. I will allow my hair to air dry in order to give it a break from the heat for little while.
