I never was one for Boho Chic style to be completely honest. I find myself to be more of a preppy girly girl or ‘Charlotte York’ inspired sophisticate…but when in LA, it is practically mandatory to have one or two ‘go to‘ Boho Chic ensembles and this happens to be one of them 😉 When the temperature heats up and exploring begins…desert vibes and ‘golden hour’ (referring to the best time to take outdoor photos) make great times for new outfit inspo (who would have thought I would enjoy boho style past Coachella haha :p)
Let’s go from top to bottom…I have actually become quite a fan of floppy hats lately. Pretty surprising considering I never was a fan before and also felt I couldn’t actually ‘Pull It Off‘…I attempted it here…what do you guys think?
Outfit wise, I kept it simple. I love plain camis or tops with a hint of feminine details so this Kohls lace tunic was the perfect piece to incorporate into my slowly growing LA wardrobe. I paired it with Target Mossimo skinny jeans (similar style here – new for Fall…stay tuned for more ways on how I styled these beauties!) and then my ShoeDazzle wedges (similar style here) + my new Violet Ray handbag straight from NYC <3 Fond memories of home…
Bling wise, I keep wearing these LC Lauren Conrad neon tassel bracelets because they are super on trend this summer and now I added this Pink Monogram initial ring to switch off from my traditional rings I always wear.
P.S. on a side note…I am completely obsessed with Minions lately and am beyond pumped to see the movie coming out tomorrow! Is anyone else a kid at heart like myself and will be spending their weekend reciting lines from Despicable Me and the new Minions movie? :p
