Happy Fri-Yay Everyone! I am making this Friday a little sweeter with a brand NEW giveaway from ShopTheMint.com aka the online heaven where I scored this gorgeous white midi skirt which makes me feel like I am heading to a picnic in the Hamptons (hopefully heading out there this weekend before the season starts)<3
This week has been interesting to say the least and it is time for some new beginnings and new experiences which I am anxious to see. For one…with the gorgeous weather I am ready for some serious road trippin’ and ready to travel (can’t believe my Cali trip is just weeks away!) and…I am anxious for Lucky Fabb which is just two weeks where I get to reconnect with some of my favorite bloggers and gal pals (it’s been forever since I have gotten to see them all!)
Now while I am prepping for a bunch of spring into summer adventures, I want to help you prep too and what better way to do that than by giving you guys the chance to enter my ShopTheMint.com giveaway where you can enter to win a $50 gift card to their site (which has everything you need this season)!
Right away when I got this skirt in the mail it reminded me of a picnic! The checkered print and light white fabric screams spring and when paired with a dark wash chambray shirt, a fun black floppy hat, it is just the right look for a weekend BBQ don’t ya think? Summer is my favorite time of year…late nights at the beach, Sunday’s barbequing and weekends laying by the pool make me a happy camper! That’s how this look makes me feel…like a happy camper 😉
My accessories I kept simple and are also able to be worn for work or play. I love this BaubleBar monogram necklace and have been wearing it non-stop since I first got it 3 years ago (crazy to think I have had it this long and it has still stood the test of time).
My shoes are classic nude open toe pumps (if you don’t have a pair definitely invest because they are the perfect anytime shoe). I have been switching off between my mirrored aviators and these wayfarers recently. I was never one for wayfarers (I felt like they were meant for hipsters or cool male celebs, but they aren’t that bad and I am kinda digging them :p)
And…it wouldn’t be a ‘Missy’esq look without a bright pop of color! I love this red Miss Locker Bag satchel and definitely plan on getting plenty of wear out of it this spring!
Now for the fun part…see below how you can add some ‘spring‘ vibes to your wardrobe with the help of ShopTheMint.com (if you haven’t shopped their site you should…every trend of the season at prices that won’t break the bank…in the words of McDonalds…I’m Lovin’ It 😉 hehe
