    Sunshine + Clear Skies…perks of Winter in LA! I have gotten so accustomed to LA life that I can’t even imagine moving back to NY and dealing with the cold temps (especially after seeing all of my friends’ Facebook status talking about how many layers they need to wear just to step out the door…not to mention the blizzard warnings, road closures and the un-glamorous digging your car out of the snow photos).     Even in NY I was obsessed with leather leggings…especially these ones from HUE! They are sexy, comfortable and keep me just the right amount of warm for those chilly days in LA (which are rare)!

    I layered a simple chiffon camisole along with a tan kimono (similar)…I am hoping on the kimono trend what can I say 😉

    For my little ‘Pops‘ of color…I added my new favorite bag from Vera Bradley…this plum satchel (perfect winter into spring shade) + I also had to add another accessory I love year round…this tan floppy hat (only $14 at Target!!)

    And of course…I couldn’t be LA ‘cool’ without some killer sunnies like these from Le Specs!

    And of course…the star of the show — White Pointed Toe Pumps…my year round ‘must-have‘!

    Happy T B T! Clearly I am doing ‘Winter‘ cleaning when it comes to my iPhoto Library because I found this shoot from back in October and realized I had never shared it! A little winter white with my favorite skinny jeans + my favorite cozy blanket scarf (aka the most popular scarf on Pinterest)? Too good not to share!

    What’s crazy is seeing how different I look since these were taken! Fun Fact, since October I have lost over 25 pounds…I feel like I am back to myself again after gaining 20 pounds since moving to LA (what can I say…In-N-Out is addictive :p) But I am back on track and happy to look back at these photos to see how far I’ve come 😉 

    My look is simple — C O Z Y to the M A X! Blanket Scarves have been my obsession since September (if you missed my post, some of my favorites are HERE) and they continue to be my easy go-to every morning! This maroon floppy hat has also been a fall into winter favorite of mine.

    The rest of my look is pretty simple…White Skinny Jeans, a comfy Gray Sweater…Black Fringe Booties + a statement making Red Faux Fur Bag!

     Hello 2 0 1 6! It’s the first Monday of the New Year…the beginning of a new chapter, a new work week + a chance to make some New Year’s Resolutions happen (my entire list of resolutions are coming to the blog this week :p)! To start things off, one of my New Year’s Resolutions is to try more trends I would normally steer clear of…case in point, the cape / poncho trend. I never knew if I could pull it off but wearing a blanket as a sweater seems to make perfect sense to me 😉 This is one trend I am fully supportive of for the winter (especially winters here in LA that aren’t nearly as bad as they are in NY).In addition to my new Poncho obsession, I am still a huge fan of blanket scarves…they make for the perfect ‘warm + cozy‘ outfit! Pair a chic floppy hat with both of these winter must haves and you got yourself the ideal ‘winter casual‘ look! Boo Yah! 😉

    I always love a statement bag, this Vera Bradley leopard satchel does just the trick…great quality, perfect size for work or play + adds a little extra ‘something‘ to any outfit!

    As for boots…I fell head-over-heels for these OTK taupe suede boots. Match with anything and they are comfortable…what more can a gal ask for 😉

    One New Year’s Resolution down…only about a million more to go haha Stay Tuned…
