# T B T to Snowy Days in N Y! I was going through my iPhoto Library and look what I found…this shoot from last winter in NY! It’s kinda great to see snow without having to have experienced it in such a long time. While it makes for a gorgeous backdrop, I used to freeze my a** off when shooting in it (#goodtimes — my poor brother wanted to kill me haha)! Because although it was the dead of winter with wind chills that felt like we were in the negatives, I still opted to wear skirts + cute little outfits that weren’t necessarily seasonally or weather wise appropriate :p Oops…

This winter look is actually perfect for LA considering the weather in NY would no way tolerate bare legs haha! I love the color maroon for winter and honestly, it appears to flatter most skin tones which is awesome…so a Maroon Skater Skirt + Faux Fur Vest were the perfect combo. P.S. I am actually selling my vest on Poshmark since I rarely wear it here :p

And…I layered a White Cable Knit Sweater to keep warm (not that LA calls for this…but I still wear it from time to time in the early morning).

New Navy + A New Giveaway…

I think it’s about time for a new giveaway don’t you? Well I needed to bring a little excitement to the cold month of January and what better way to do that than by teaming up with Kameleonz…a fun new brand of sunnies that get this…are interchangeable to match your outfit! What fashionista doesn’t love to have her accessories match her look…including her sunglasses!

When Kameleonz reached out to me about collaborating and hosting a giveaway I had to say YES! I am all about accessories and have become increasingly obsessed with colored sunnies like this green pair named ‘Bali‘ (if only they would actually bring me to Bali…haha!). So read on to see how you can snag a pair (we can be #Twinning!…yes I am such a dork and use that word…oops :p)Before I dish the deets on how to snag a pair of these sunnies let’s break down this winter look (see I am slowly but surely wearing winter ensembles although I am constantly dreaming of warmer weather…I am in the midst of trying to plan a warm weather vacation…stay tuned…)I LOVE a faux fur vest as we all know so naturally I needed a gray one like this one that’s retailing for under $50 (I simply couldn’t survive without it duh!) Pair it with a chic white button down blouse and some simple leggings and you are ready for work or play.

Ok…I have become OBSESSED with over the knee boots…I was unsure at first but once I found these beauties at Nordstrom Rack I fell in love… (similar from Light In The Box here). I think slipping on a pair of over the knee boots instantly adds a sense of sexy and really pulls a look together.

I had to rock a little leopard print once again (this Kelsi Dagger bag has been a current crush of mine).

Now to dish on these awesome sunnies…What is cool about these Kameleonz sunnies is that the side pieces are interchangeable. So the sunglasses are sold in sets and can have the side pieces changed amongst 3 different colors to in a way ‘reinvent‘ their look to match your look!
