ICYMI I rocked this leopard skirt on the blog a few weeks ago but I brought it back to show how I can style one piece in so many ways no matter what the season…case and point? This leopard skirt styled for fall into winter with the right accessories like I did here. That’s what I love about style + fashion…outfits can be styled so many different ways by switching up a few key pieces. Whether it be accessories, shoes, sunnies, additional layers etc one outfit can be changed so many different ways with a few additions 😉
I LOVE this leopard skirt for so many reasons. 1. I majorly love leopard right now + 2. It is a great piece to wear year round because of it’s lightweight design and tiered look. It is such a signature piece that will last you quite a while which is something I look for when shopping all the time.
Just like the summer look, I styled this skirt with a cropped white sweater but here I layered over a black faux fur vest paired with a Gucci pearl belt to really make a statement with an otherwise simple look.
I LOVE faux fur vests for fall into winter. They were my go to while I was in NY as opposed to coats this way when I went from the warm subway to the cold NYC streets I still kept the right amount of warmth.
As for my shoes + bag…the bag was a deal my boo + I snagged on Yoogi’s Closet. We recently got into the concept of flipping handbags…ok let me explain haha
My boyfriend + I love watching HGTV and DIY network where there are a ton of shows of people flipping houses, so I thought hmmm I know the best handbag repair business in the US (PurseRehab based here in Malibu) + I am great at spotting designer deals so with that combination, why don’t I flip bags? Get a great deal, fix them up to their brand new state + sell ’em.
We are beginning this experience now so we shall see how profitable our venture ends up being, BUT this bag is one of the first ones we are going to flip. I love the black + gold detailing, it’s a rare style and with that said I couldn’t find the exact bag but if you want to buy the one I am wearing message me! Otherwise I have linked to some similar styles below.
I’ve been crushing on white boots for a while now + found these perfect ones on clearance from Nordstrom Rack but am linking to some similar options below. I feel like you can never go wrong with white boots…they match with everything, look chic as can be + these ones in particular are super comfortable.
Fall is just around the corner + while I love stocking up on my fall favorites, I also love styling my summer picks well into fall. My current obsessions? A little leopard paired with a cropped sweater like I did here! While I wore this Pink Blush leopard skirt during the summer with camisoles or bodysuits, it is perfect to transition to fall with a chic sweater like I did here.
These pieces are great to style a variety of ways + are total fall must-haves (plus you can style them for warmer weather as well as cooler weather)
Now for the pretty little details…I have been lusting after these Hermes sandals for months now + I finally took the plunge and got them. So happy I did! They are beyond comfy, match with everything + will never go out of style.
The best part of this ensemble? The bag! I have been eyeing up this Louis Vuitton backpack for a while now so when I saw it on Bag, Borrow or Steal, I knew I had to have it! What I love about this bag is how the size is equivalent to a normal handbag but has the chic, edgy style of a backpack! Bag, Borrow or Steal gives you two options…you can BUY (they are one of my top spots to find designer bags for less that are authenticated by their team of experts + are typically in AMAZING condition) OR you can BORROW.
So here’s the scoop on how to BORROW. You just search their BORROW tab, find your dream bag whether it be for a shoot, a special occasion or just because…follow the instructions and then you can borrow 1 bag a month for a certain rate – giving you the luxury handbag experience for less with no commitment of keeping the bag you are styling (perfect for the gal that is always testing out new trends + changing up their style)!
Happy Wednesday Loves! Yes…it’s happening, I am wearing ‘White After Labor Day‘ #SorryNotSorry (btw that Demi Lovato song has been stuck in my head for the past few weeks haha anyone else with me?) Anyways…I typically wear white year round anyway so it doesn’t really phase me that we are now past Labor Day haha So to really show how I don’t care about going against fashion faux pas’s, I wore white from head to toe!
I can’t wait to bring this cozy sweater + jeans to London. With the cooler temps there these will make for the perfect strolling outfit. Crazy to think the day I shot these photos it was 100 degrees outside..Yup, 100 degrees! I was meltingaway in this outfit but hey that’s the life of a blogger and what my weekends consist of haha
Coco Cooper has jeans that hug your curves and really fit your shape. I LOVE these jeans!! They are made with 4 way stretch denim allowing them to move with your body all day no matter where you are off to! They even have a special sculpt and lift technology to give your booty that extra ‘oomph‘ you always wanted.
I always love wearing an all white outfit, so I paired this look with white pointed toe pumps! These are a must-have of mine for fall 🙂
Maroon aka my new favorite color for fall (besides blue…pretty apparent with how often I wear it :p). Since Thanksgiving is this week, it’s about time I take a break from my love of neon and embrace the darker hues…along with that, embrace booties, sweaters (like this cozy Uniqlo one) + floppy hats. So what’s my ‘statement‘ item in this festive look (totally holiday dinner appropriate)…this fab Vera Bradley leopard satchel. My booties are from NYLA, but I found a similar pair on sale from Kohls (+ even more on sale during Black Friday sales) here! These are great to wear to Thanksgiving dinner (or if you are like my friends, Thanksgiving Eve…girl’s night out what what!)
Fun prints are always ‘in‘ no matter what the season…this leopard satchel from Vera Bradley is the perfect fall handbag and will make a statement at your Thanksgiving gathering! Plus it comes in a variety of prints and colors!
Happy Monday everyone and I hope you all had a great holiday weekend (I sure did…movies, naps and a relaxing bath = heaven)! I still have a few outfits to share with some snowy backdrops because Long Island apparently takes forever to have snow melt, but they can all be worn well into spring, like this little number with my white lace trim sweater that I am currently obsessed with!
The weather in New York has definitely thrown me off. One day it’s warm, the next day there are blustering winds and of course tons of snow and rain…everyday I don’t know what to expect, but at least a lot of the pieces I have in my closet can be worn for any type of weather (although I am dying to wear my summer wear again! :p) Today I am actually shooting in NYC and I can’t wait to finally be able to wear some real ‘spring’ outfits (it’s going to be in the 50s today! Finally!)
