For spring I have some favorites I will be wearing all season long and this yellow sweater, white skirt, white booties + bag are pretty much a major part of them! As you all know, I love a major POP of color so I began stocking up on bright neon + pastel sweaters for spring + summer, like the one I am wearing here. This one is lightweight, perfect for layering + it is great to wear over a bralette or swimsuit for upcoming festival season!
In addition to my love of colorful sweaters, I am obsessed with all white everything. This white skater skirt is a piece I wear constantly + with it retailing for under $20 on Amazon it is a total must-have you should have in your spring wardrobe.
My other spring essentials? These chic white ankle boots that are perfect for work or play AND festivalseason! I am linking to a few favorites below + they are well worth the buy!
This bag is another must-have for festival season – It is great to wear when out all day at concerts + easy to check through security because of it’s clear aesthetic and handy size.
I hope ya’ll had a great weekend! We spent the weekend carving pumpkins (see more on my Instastories), watching Hocus Pocus + visiting a pet fair (unfortunately all the pets were adopted by the time we got there :/ but we are still in the process of visiting local shelters to rescue a pet in need!) I am in full on Halloween mode (ICYMI – I shared a full Halloween shopping guide yesterday HERE), so I had to share a little look to get you in a spooky mood featuring one of my favorite tees from Target!
I am loving this tee I spotted at Target. I am not one for ‘booze‘ hehe but I am one for boo’s :p hehe Target honestly has some of the cutest Halloween tees, if you aren’t one for costumes I would highly suggest stocking up on some of these cute tees.
I love this one because of the play on words haha but also because it is easy to style with anything! I paired it with a white skater skirt + denim jacket.
I am obsessing on white booties for fall + these beauties are the perfect ones. I scored them for under $30 at Charlotte Russe + found a similar pair I am also loving from Missguided here.
I was going through my photo archives + realized I never shared this fun fall look I shot last year in London! I was so excited to find this row of colorful houses everyone shows on instagram + bam…photoshoot perfection. While it isn’t sweater weather in LA just yet, I am stocking up on colorful chunky knits to keep me snuggled up all season long. I of course love my go-to neutral sweaters, but this pink one is just perfect for when you want to make a chunky sweater feel + look feminine!
This week has been a bit crazy for me…from a busy workload to personal business to planning upcoming campaigns etc and for some reason looking back at this shoot from London put a smile on my face. Maybe it reignited the travel bug in me because now I am begging my boo for another international adventure filled with colorful backdrops, actual fall weather + maybe, just maybe some European shopping (hey…no tax when shopping in Europe is one of my favorite things about traveling there hehe :p).
Last fall is when I first visited London + actually ventured outside the US. It was magical exploring London (followed by a mini trip to Paris…you know because it was one of my biggest dreams to go there). One of my favorite parts was shooting this look…
This cozy pink sweater is perfect for a girly girl like myself. Normally chunky sweaters I wear for comfort more so than style, but with this pink Zaful sweater, I can be cozy + cute.
I know a white skater skirt is more a summer staple than a fall one but I just love wearing one year round, and if you style it right, it can work for any season or occasion.
This bag has been my obsession since the moment I got it. It is my everyday bag because of it’s size, versatility + it goes with any outfit, honestly…it’s great!
Are you feeling a little red, white + blue? I don’t know about you but I am all about a fun bold look, especially to celebrate the 4th of July! While this look is a bit dressier than what one would typically wear for your standard July 4th BBQ, I figured why not?…I mean I love a great red, white + blue look…don’t you?
Whether you are heading to a party or heading to watch fireworks, embracing America’s colors is always a good idea if you ask me!
This blue tassel contrast top from Skies Are Blue is the perfect blouse to wear for the upcoming holiday. Whether you style it with white jeans or denim shorts or a fun skirt like I did here, this top is a must have for summer (plus it retails for under $57)!
This white skirt retails for under $20 and is an essential for every gal’s wardrobe. I have styled it so many different ways + it is just a handy piece to have year round. I have always loved skater skirts (so much that I have this skirt in 10 different colors haha :p).
While this red Vera Bradley bag is no longer available, I linked to a few red leather satchel’s like this one from Kate Spade. This bag is a great one to add a pop of color to any look, whether it’s the 4th of July or any look in general, why not brighten things up with a pop of red?
These navy blue ankle strap sandals were a sale find from Macy’s but I am linking to a similar style that comes in various colors here. This style of heel is perfect for work or play. With a mid heel height, they are super comfortable and also stylish.
It’s official…I am 26 today + although I am another year older I am still a kid at ♥ so I am celebrating my birthday at the most magical place on earth – DISNEY! Spending my birthday with my partner in crime AND Mickey + Minnie, could life get any better? I think not hehe 😉 People have always said your mid-twenties into your thirties are your best years because you begin to feel comfortable with the skin you are in, you stop taking shit from people + you learn more about yourself each + everyday. Well I always learn new things everyday + every year I feel a bit wiser but this year…I truly found happiness + what my aspirations, goals + dreams are in life.
This year was a big one for me.
I found my best friend + partner in crime, we went through being long distance while he was away in London, I actually traveled outside the country to visit him, we went to Paris – one of my dreams, I bought my first Chanel (in Paris) + my first Mercedes, I landed my dream job doing what I love working from home, connecting brands with perfectly paired influencers AND I am now celebrating my birthday and anniversary in Orlando having the time of my life. I must say…this year, life has been pretty damn good.
So what have I learned from becoming another year older (and hopefully another year wiser) :p Well, I have a few things..
One:Never take shit from anyone…seriously. Whether it is your family, friends, boss etc. Stand strong, stand up for what you believe in + stand up for your morals + what you feel is right. As you get older, you don’t just sit + take it, you strive for more, you stand up + want to be heard + respected, you want to be YOU.
TWO:Take care of yourself, put yourself first. This means whether it comes to your health, happiness or anything else, you must put what is best for you above whatever else is happening in life. I used to over extend myself + never say NO to any project or event etc. Now I learned that me being worn out + exhausted isn’t doing anyone any good, so I make sure to balance + take time for me.
Three:Never take life too seriously.I used to be a notorious worry wart. I had anxiety over absolutely everything + it stopped me from feeling 100% confident with who I was + what I was doing. What changed this? As corny as it sounds…my relationship. I used to think what people thought of me + my relationships were more important than what my thoughts or feelings were. Fast forward a year later I traded in fancy dinners for Wednesday half price games at Dave & Buster’s + would rather spend my weekends relaxing watch South Park than being out + about every second of the day. It’s funny how once you get older you learn more about yourself + what truly makes you happy…this year, that was my number ONE lesson in life. Sometimes what you think will make you happen doesn’t + instead life surprises you with plans that make you wonder what you were missing out on in life before!
