The Love Shack Fancy for Target collection came in hot + sold out within a few days but I was lucky enough to snag a few of their gorgeous designs that are too cute to pass up. I have always been a fan of Love Shack Fancy but their price point is a bit high let’s be honest so when they collaborated with Target I knew now was my chance so I went all out, and this dress is currently ones of my absolute favorites!
I paired this dress with the Tory Burch Petite Lee Radizwill bag. I love this bag because I wanted to embrace the micro bag trend but still needed a little room and this bag works perfectly! It can fit your lipstick, phone, keys + more so it’s a micro bag that isn’t so micro!
I also styled this look with white pointed toe pumps, a total classic as well. They are a signature shoe that you need to have in your wardrobe because you will get so much wear out of it.
Get it? Because I am wearing a checkered print blazer haha :p Anyways I’ve had a super swamped week this week and this weekend is going to be a pretty hectic one as well! I am currently packing to head to Washington for a fun Back To School themed event at the Capital Mall in Olympia, Washington which I am so excited for! I love to travel, especially when I get to create amazing content like the images in this post from my recent NYC trip.
When I put this look together and brought it to NYC i instantly thought Gossip Girl! I feel like Blair Waldorf would totally rock this on the Upper East Side, shopping on Madison Avenue hehe :p I’ve always been a girly girl, always obsessed with pastel hues + chic blazers and of course pointed toe pumps, so this outfit combined my love of all these trends into this perfect look that you’ll definitely want to add to your wardrobe.
This was the first trip I had to visit NYC in such a long time since I moved and it was such a breath of fresh air to shoot gorgeous city content in my forever home with a renewed outlook + perspective. When you live somewhere and shoot in the same areas all the time, creativity can be drained but heading back to NYC sparked my excitement and it was so great to do something different other than my traditional colored walls for a change.
That is why I am excited about the trip to Washington this weekend! Exploring a new city I’ve never been to, shooting new content + making new memories with my boo…what could be better?!
Anytime I travel, I always bring a neutral bag to style for work or play like this Chanel bag AND I always bring neutral pumps to instantly bring any look from day to night.
I also tend to pack a blazer or too so I am ready for anything that comes up during my trip!
Ok, not the gossipy kind but the statement making, breath taking, traffic stopping kind…like a chic dress like this one from Pink Lily! The second I spotted it on their site I knew I needed to have it + when I was planning my outfits out for my NYC shoot I knew this beauty was meant to be styled in a chic NYC way on the Brooklyn Bridge.
I couldn’t wait to wear this dress…it was my perfect Carrie Bradshaw moment…a moment I always tried to have while I was living in NYC but years later I was finally able to achieve it. It’s funny how time makes your style mature + allows you to feel confident enough to walk the Brooklyn Bridge in the rain in a tulle + floral print dress…it was one heck of a journey but I am so glad I am here.
I love this dress so much + after I posted it during a Pink Lily Try-On Haul on instastories it seems like ya’ll did too! I styled it with a moto jacket, a statement making Gucci pearl belt + white pumps. Whether you want to wear it to prom, a wedding, a special occasion or just a fancy date night…this piece is a total must-have + you will feel like a true princess!
While this dress is my favorite, I wanted to link to some more of my favorite Pink Lily Boutique pieces below. I have been shopping their site for over a year now + from dresses to sweaters to cute tops + more, Pink Lily has trendy, cute pieces at an affordable price point.
I don’t know about you but when I think of Easter, I instantly think of pastel colored Easter Eggs. Whether it’s decorating them, or hiding them, or having them as decor in your Easter basket, who doesn’t love some pastel eggs, am I right?! Well since Easter is around the corner I figured I’d style a look inspired by my favorite eggs…because why not, life’s too short to not stand out like a rainbow!
First off let me just say, I am LOVINGthis sweater. I have accumulated a plethora of rainbow sweaters as of late + this one is a favorite because of it’s pastel hues making it perfect for Easter + spring in general!
I styled it with a baby blue skater skirt – I have been stocking up on this style of skirt for under $20 from Amazon (it is so flattering + comes in a variety of different colors – like over 20+ to be exact). Skater skirts are great to pair with just about anything for a fun, flirty look!
White pumps are a signature shoe every lady should have! They are a chic classic you can never go wrong with + will last you for years to come, linking to some of my favorites along with my favorite Gucci bag below (similar styles as mine here is no longer available).
Pastel hues are the perfect go to for the spring season, especially with Easter just around the corner. When I got this dress I instantly thought it was perfect for Easter with it’s long maxi style + wrap silhouette it is flattering, stylish + also chic enough for Sunday service or brunch or even dinner! Whether you are looking for a feminine little princess moment or just a classic spring ensemble this look is sure to put a little ‘spring‘ in your step!
Wayf Clothing make the cutest dresses in my opinion – they are at a reasonable price point, available at all of your favorite stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Dillards etc AND they have a wide size range so every gal can look beautiful this spring!
I paired it with classic white pumps (a key must-have for your spring into summer wardrobe) + the trendy pearl handbag you are seeing all over Instagram! The designer version is $500+ but this one is just $70 from Amazon. Honestly, I see this bag as the adult version of an Easter basket haha! How cute is it? Perfect for special occasions or every day wear.
