Red…White + a little F R I N G E! Those are the vibes I am feeling for the upcoming Labor Day Weekend! Other than all of the great sales (which I will be sharing my favorites from of course – stay tuned :p), I love how Labor Day weekend is the last time to really stand out in your summer time favorites (although, knowing me I will still be wearing my summer favs well into fall haha). I figured prepping for the weekend is the perfect time to show my patriotic side once again! I am kinda in an ‘I Love America‘ state of mind after seeing Kid Rock over the weekend + his amazing tribute to working class America…all of the soldiers, marines and more who fought + continue to fight each and everyday to make sure we are ‘Born Free‘! ICYMI, I am a HUGE Kid Rock fan and was in love at his concert Saturday night…I was supposed to see him 4th of July weekend back in NY (before I knew I was moving) but then I moved here to LA a month before the concert + missed going 🙁 So seeing him Saturday literally made my summer <3 Anyways…on a side note, I should probably get to breaking down this amazing outfit which is fully stocked on color + feminine details…just what I like! My blue pleated high low skirt is from LoveShoppingMiami.com whose website makes me instantly happy because it is filled with fun colors, prints + styles fit for any season! I paired it with a simple white crop top because I mean come on, doesn’t the skirt just speak for itself?

My fav part of this outfit is of course are these red fringe heels from AMI Clubwear…they are instantly becoming my go-to shoe for a night out because the fun fringe detail and the red hue can really spice up any look 😉 I guess you can say they are red hot haha!

Accessories I kept simple as well and went for a metallic theme…got to love a little glitz. I decided to give this silver Michael Kors watch a little love since I haven’t worn it in such a long time along with this metallic silver clutch from Carolinna Espinosa (similar styles here + here).

And it wouldn’t be a summer outfit without my mirrored Ray Ban sunnies right? hehe I’ve seriously worn these All Summer Long (like my Kid Rock reference sprinkled in there haha)

Happy Friday everyone and sorry if I ~~haven’t~~ been on my A-game when it’s come to blogging lately…between a big move to LA, a new job and attempting to find my dream apartment on a budget, I have been slightly swamped to say the least (whoever said if you can make it in NY you can make it anywhere clearly wasn’t referring to finding a decent apartment in LA or being able to drive without a ton of traffic every 5 blocks…) So yes…the struggle is real and living on your own is no joke…so to distract myself…an outfit I shot in Meat Packing before i headed cross country to make it on my own 😉

Happy Monday Loves! I once again am beating Monday blues with a little…Blue! I am OBSESSED with the whole moto jacket trend for fall…and I love it even more when I can find great ones at an affordable price like this powder blue moto jacket from Apt.9 at Kohls! Never doubt the possibility of finding a great trend piece for less without forgoing on quality 😉 So time to reveal a little secret…A few people have asked on here and on instagram about if the weather where I am is still warm…well no not really haha. My brother shoots my outfits and we tend to shoot a bunch of looks at a time so I have looks I’ve shot in the warmer weather that will be sprinkled in amongst colder weather looks on the blog. I definitely couldn’t have rocked this skirt ensemble yesterday because it was FREEZING on Long Island…I only got one outfit shot because I was too chicken to fight the cold…pretty sure I’m meant to be in warmer climate lol (insert monkey covering eyes emoji here)Now let’s break down the look…My white crop top is from J Lo for Kohls and you can score it now for…drum roll please $4! YES $4. Dress it up, dress it down and wear it season to season. And I made it perfect for fall by layering the moto jacket and adding a cute black floppy hat. A simple black scuba skirt is always a sure bet to tie a look together and the best part is that it is a transitional piece to wear year round.I had to have my traditional ‘Pop Of Color’ by adding this magenta Rayne necklace from Kendra Scott…what better way to bring summer into the fall / winter.These black suede boots have been an absolute life saver when it comes to easily feeling sexy in the cold fall weather. Happy Wednesday Loves! I couldn’t wait to share this look with you A) because I am OBSESSED with this red leather skirt and B) because it is a great ‘fall ready’ look…get it ‘red’y…ready…yea I amuse myself at times 😉 Anyways, I think I may wear this look for this week / weekend’s NYFW festivities…best part? It’s all affordable…true Missy fashion! My red leather skirt is from Lord & Taylor…I love the fit, color and shape. Perfect for the office or any occasion for that matter, you can’t go wrong with a classy skirt, especially one that pops! My white crop top is from J Lo for Kohls…crazy right? I love the fit because it doesn’t look like a crop top, sometimes they can be a bit scandalous, but this one is chic and even office appropriate. I also wanted to add a little extra red to my ensemble with this rose and stud necklace. Rebecca Minkoff always gets me…especially with this classic quilted ‘Affair’ bag. Definitely one of my go to pieces for Fashion Week! I’m going to miss my neon pink nail polish…I love it so much but today I am finally getting a fall manicure. Any suggestions?! These NYLA shoes are called ‘Symphony‘…doesn’t that name just roll of the tongue? They come in black, blush and bone…the pair I am wearing are the ‘blush‘ tone. I love this hue for year round…don’t hesitate to wear certain colors just because it’s ‘out of season’ make it work with the proper ensemble!My bag? Of course it’s from Rebecca Minkoff…we know I’m a bit obsessed…what can I say when I find a designer I love I stick with them! It’s called the ‘Mini MAB Tote‘ and while I’m holding it has a little accessory in these photos, it also comes with a leather strap to wear it as a cross body…perfect for a night out! And sorry guys, but I had to rock some retro inspired sunnies for this look…yes I am slowly getting used to not wearing sunglasses for every outfit post, but sometimes they just make the look…like they did for this one 😉Shop My Look<3
