P I N K…Regina George would be proud and I would totally fit in with the ‘Plastics‘ right 😉 Ok, I am not in support of the whole clique situation however I am a fan of wearing pink (on a Wednesday). Nothing I love more than making a colorful statement and this Hutch Design skirt does just the trick. It’s perfect for the office (pairing it with a blazer makes me board room ready — although my office doesn’t really do ‘board meetings’ we are fun after all haha). My outfit matches my office — bright, colorful and plenty of pink. That’s one of the things I love about my job, work hard, play hard and work in a fun environment.
I feel like I look like cotton candy…not just with the pink, but also with my pops of blue. My cobalt blue bag is no longer available, but I found a similar style from Tory Burch here (and it is the perfect going-out bag…kinda obsessed and need to put it on my holiday wishlist — coming soon :p).
I love Kendra Scott statement pieces, so it comes as no surprise that I needed to get this Rayne Necklace in blue (I have worn the pink one all summer long and figured it was about time for a different hue). It adds a ‘pop of color‘ to any outfit 😉
Gray pumps have become a favorite of mine for the fall and winter months. I feel like gray is such an under worn color and I don’t get why. It is the perfect fall into winter hue that matches with any look.
Happy Monday! Another weekend fly by faster than I was ready for and now back to the work week grind. Temperatures are beginning to cool down just a tad here in LA allowing me to wear one of my go-to fall looks without completely over heating (In the words of London Tipton — y a y me!) A chic blazer is always in style, but I love this white one, especially paired with this polka dot camisole. Light wash skinny jeans are my favorites. They match perfectly with everything and I love the distressed style of them (plus they are super comfortable) :p
These pieces can all be mixed and matched to create a bunch of different looks — endless possibilities on a budget? Count me in!
Living in LA, it is practically mandatory to do a photo shoot in front of the ever so famous ‘Pink Wall‘ on Melrose (it’s on the side of the Paul Smith store). The morning I shot there, there were tons of bloggers there (even one gal shooting a music video haha). I naturally loved the backdrop because as you all know, I L O V E a good pop of color 😉 I kept my outfit pretty simple since I had such a colorful setting and a bright cobalt blue bag (seriously obsessed with this bag — I wear it all the time). My chiffon camisole is on sale now at Kohls and it is the perfect piece to layer under a blazer, sweater, cardigan or denim jacket.
I also love a chic blazer — especially this white one. Everyone wears black blazers, but a white one adds a little extra something to any look. As for my jeans, simple skinny jeans, cuffed at the bottom — I love showing a little ankle (plus I am short haha so these fit me great — short gals rejoice).
My shoes are from Carolinna Espinosa and are no longer available, but I linked to a similar style here. And my satchel is from Kenneth Cole (also no longer available — similar here).
Oh yea…my signature Ray Bans had to make an appearance duh :p
Happy Monday! I am so ready to start a fresh new week after an exhausting weekend of apartment hunting in LA. Luckily after searching high and low I have exciting news to report…I found my dream apartment!! The building and it’s ameneties are to die for and the apartment itself is pure bliss…I can’t wait to move in and start the decorating progress (which I will chronicle here on the blog of course). If you told me a year ago I would start pinning away interior design inspo and then actually use some of that inspiration to help decorate my very own apartment in Los Angeles I wouldn’t believe you…well here it is…it’s happening! Crazy I know…
So yes…this happened…I finally wore a romper! First time in years wearing one, but when I spotted this floral number from Choies I knew it was meant to be! With my trip to LA just around the corner, I figured this would be the perfect outfit to pack for brunch, lunch, events or a trip to the Santa Monica pier (can you tell I have been California dreaming for a while now :p).
I have been counting down heading back to LA since my first visit last year…the sunshine, palm trees and the ability to wear shorts, skirts and dresses everyday is a little slice of heaven for me…
