Definition of a girly girl? Pretty sure it’s me…my picture probably comes up next to the term in Webster’s 😉 I am addicted to color, heels and of course flirty skirts, so it comes as no surprise that for the holiday weekend I decided to share a little pastel number suiting for spring! If there is an excuse to dress up whether it is a nice brunch, lunch or dinner with family or friends, my look always requires a skirt or dress and pumps (no pain no gain right?)

This look reminds me of an Easter egg…white and mint green? Could I incorporate any more spring pastel hues? (ok I probably can but I didn’t it to be over kill…so green and white will do for now). I am excited for this week to be over and for the nice relaxing weekend ahead…although I am both Jewish and Catholic (little fun fact about me) for some reason my family celebrates Easter which basically means we sit around in pajamas and eat a turkey…yea that’s my family for ya 😉

Green Aftermath…the day after St. Patrick’s Day may be a bummer for some, but for me…it’s pure bliss. Let’s break down just a few of the reasons why I am not a St. Paddy’s Day fanA) Overcrowding in NYC {have you tried navigating the streets of Manhattan the day of any parade…let alone the St. Patrick’s Day parade? Do Not Attempt!} B) Drunk / Obnoxious people on the LIRR {cue throwing up teens + countless fights…both my trains yesterday were delayed…lovely} C) It is an excuse for everyone (irish or not) to get drunk without actually knowing the meaning behind the holiday {although my grandma definitely gave me the detailed history of St. Patrick’s Day I can’t remember it exactly, but I guarantee it wasn’t a national ‘Get Drunk’ holiday…but hey who knows} Anyways…back to something I do enjoy…colored jeans! Haha…like that segue? 😉
