Ya’ll it has been pretty chilly in LA + with it being winter time throughout the country I thought hmm while I love a cute little dress for Valentine’s Day / date night, it isn’t the most functional when it comes to cooler temps so why not embrace a little V Day pink but in a warm way…my solution? This cozy yet chic Majorelle pink fuzzy coat from REVOLVE!
The look under the coat is perfect for date night…black leather leggings (my cold whether go to when I need a chic + sexy look) paired with a black chiffon camisole. I love this outfit for nights out with friends, a nice dinner with my boo + so much more!
I have been loving a few different brands of leather leggings but SPANX has definitely become a favorite of mine. They are 100% worth the hype – they suck it all in + accentuate all the good areas hehe
Nothing is classier in my opinion than a chic pair of white pumps. They match with everything, never go out of style + instantly elevate any look. I wore them with this ensemble to dress up this cozy look + paired it with my old Louis Vuitton Multicolor Pouchette (I got this beauty when I was in elementary school as a gift from my Grandma who is a big handbag lover haha)
It feels like Christmas was just yesterday but here we are getting ready for the season of LOVE…Valentine’s Day! I always love Valentine’s Daybecause it’s a time for self love + love with your significant other ♥ Whether you are having Galentine’s Day with your besties or heading out for date night with your boo, Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to rock your pink, red + loveable vibes for the special day…my personal favorite? Rocking a little PINK like I am doing here from Shein.
I love wearing pink year round but especially for Valentine’s Day…Shein has TONS of chic date night dresses for Valentine’s Day….from sexy mini dresses to feminine lace dress to a simple wrap dress like this one, I am sharing some of my favorite pink SHEIN dresses below that will get you V Day ready in no time.
As for my accessories – I styled them so this can be a casual date night look or even help transition this pink dress for different occasions. I love classic white booties + these ones from Marc Fischer are amazing because they are super comfortable.
I am loving this Celine Mini Luggage bag, I can’t find a link to the bag in this exact color, but linking to some similar ones below along with my pink pearl headband which is a great way to accessorize your Valentine’s Day look ♥
It wouldn’t be Valentine’s Day without a hot red number + when I spotted this red trench coat that in my mind doubles as a sexy dress, I was in L O V E♥ I always found trench coats sophisticated + a bit sexy…you know, like what’s on (or not on :p) underneath hehe 😉 Whether you are surprising your boo at home with a romantic meal or you are heading to a nice night out on the town, a red trench coat makes a total statement + is the perfect piece to wear thisValentine’s Day.
I am obsessed with this coat. I wore it a lot around Christmas time + then when I slipped it over a cami dress for Valentine’s Day, I realized when closed and belted it looks like a little red dress itself! Watchya think?
I went a bit overboard on the whole hearts thing – well maybe not :p
I’ve been seeing these heart shaped sunnies everywhere – the YSL style is pretty pricey so I found dupes on Amazon that look the same at a fraction of the cost!
This bag was an instant must have when I spotted it on Amazon + it retails for under $30 – how cute is that?! It actually has plenty of room it you are wearing it for a night out – fits your keys, lipstick, other essentials etc. Not only is it perfect for Valentine’s Day, but it is a great bag to wear anytime to make a bold statement.
I kept my shoes simple since there was a lot going on with this outfit + I find that these Stuart Weitzman Nudist Sandals match with absolutely everything + the best part? They are super comfortable!
Love is in the air+ so is a little lace…I am swooning over lace tulle skirts at the moment, so when I snagged this skirt I knew it made for the perfect fairytale ‘esq‘ date night ensemble!
I love a great feminine moment + lace tulle skirts are as girly as it can get in my opinion. I find that when you wear them you should let them take center stage so I paired them with some neutral colors, making it a look perfect for date night (I know sometimes tulle skirts can be a bit intimidating for everyday wear).
An added bonus? Every time I wear a tulle skirt I instantly feel like Carrie Bradshaw ♥ Not a bad way to feel, right? 😉 hehe
I highly encourage every gal invest in a little tulle moment – getting a tulle skirt in a neutral color is easier to style for wear on a regular basis (think pairing it with a white tee, a cropped sweater or simply body suit + moto jacket etc).
I am linking to some of my favorite tulle skirts below:
I styled the skirt for Valentine’s Day with a simple chiffon camisole + tweed white jacket (another great piece to invest in for work or play).
Here are some of my favorite tweed jackets:
The detail on this skirt is amazing since it isn’t just tulle, it also has lace detailing adding an extra feminine touch.
It’s official…I am 26 today + although I am another year older I am still a kid at ♥ so I am celebrating my birthday at the most magical place on earth – DISNEY! Spending my birthday with my partner in crime AND Mickey + Minnie, could life get any better? I think not hehe 😉 People have always said your mid-twenties into your thirties are your best years because you begin to feel comfortable with the skin you are in, you stop taking shit from people + you learn more about yourself each + everyday. Well I always learn new things everyday + every year I feel a bit wiser but this year…I truly found happiness + what my aspirations, goals + dreams are in life.
This year was a big one for me.
I found my best friend + partner in crime, we went through being long distance while he was away in London, I actually traveled outside the country to visit him, we went to Paris – one of my dreams, I bought my first Chanel (in Paris) + my first Mercedes, I landed my dream job doing what I love working from home, connecting brands with perfectly paired influencers AND I am now celebrating my birthday and anniversary in Orlando having the time of my life. I must say…this year, life has been pretty damn good.
So what have I learned from becoming another year older (and hopefully another year wiser) :p Well, I have a few things..
One:Never take shit from anyone…seriously. Whether it is your family, friends, boss etc. Stand strong, stand up for what you believe in + stand up for your morals + what you feel is right. As you get older, you don’t just sit + take it, you strive for more, you stand up + want to be heard + respected, you want to be YOU.
TWO:Take care of yourself, put yourself first. This means whether it comes to your health, happiness or anything else, you must put what is best for you above whatever else is happening in life. I used to over extend myself + never say NO to any project or event etc. Now I learned that me being worn out + exhausted isn’t doing anyone any good, so I make sure to balance + take time for me.
Three:Never take life too seriously.I used to be a notorious worry wart. I had anxiety over absolutely everything + it stopped me from feeling 100% confident with who I was + what I was doing. What changed this? As corny as it sounds…my relationship. I used to think what people thought of me + my relationships were more important than what my thoughts or feelings were. Fast forward a year later I traded in fancy dinners for Wednesday half price games at Dave & Buster’s + would rather spend my weekends relaxing watch South Park than being out + about every second of the day. It’s funny how once you get older you learn more about yourself + what truly makes you happy…this year, that was my number ONE lesson in life. Sometimes what you think will make you happen doesn’t + instead life surprises you with plans that make you wonder what you were missing out on in life before!
