TGIF! Happy ‘Funday’ Friday Loves! While this casual Friday ensemble wasn’t shot on a Friday, it was definitely shot on a Fun Day 😉 haha ok so that was corny I know…want to know where ‘Funday Friday’ really came from? Well…it’s actually a sarcastic comment from my trainer at the gym…Friday’s are cardio day AKA…Funday Friday.I don’t even want to think about what today’s work out has in store for me…so instead let’s focus on this cute chambray look 😉 Better distraction if you ask me! My chambray button down top was a ‘Shop Genius’ find from Nordstrom Rack. I love Chambray and it’s a great transition piece from spring to summer to fall to winter…wear it with absolutely everything and anything. My white cotton shorts are from Abercrombie. I’m trying to get in my fill of summer clothing before fall hits NY. Shoes always make the outfit and I LOVE these silver Converse kicks. It’s crazy to believe they have been hiding in the back of my closet ever since freshman year of high school! To know me means to know how obsessed I am with neon! This neon Cambridge Satchel is another oldie but goodie…I got this when I was a freshman in college. I guess I like mixing old and new what can I say 😉I truly love all of these shots because I enjoy being by the water, especially on Long Island during the summer. These photos were taken on the ‘Nautical Mile’ in Freeport NY if any of you guys are familiar. It’s a perfect Long Island summer spot. Shop My Look Below<3

Happy Friday Loves! TGIF! I am so ready for a weekend filled with some fun in the sun, how about you? Well something I love about Friday’s (other than the fact summer Friday’s mean ending work in the afternoon) is the fact that they are casual, meaning I can pretty much wear anything within reason without be judged as ‘sloppy’ 😉

So this look is a total favorite of mine and it fits the casual bill to a T…literally haha (get it T like Tee Shirt lol…) 😉 My red open back top is from Zoeii Boutique…I love it’s casual feel yet it has the open slit in the back making it perfect for a night out!

My jeans are classic Old Navy…I simply LOVE white jeans for summer…especially these ones because they fit like a glove!

Like mentioned in previous posts, I love this Vince Camuto bucket bag for summer. It fits all my essentials and is an easy on the go bag!

My shoes were a Payless find! Don’t you love finding shoes that you simply can’t live without at a price that’s actually affordable? Yea…these shoes are that. While they are no longer available I found a similar style from Jildor.

Like how I went back to the old days of taking photos in front of my house? Yea…this was an outfit I wore to Americana Manhasset to get my jewelry repaired at Tiffanys…I loved it so much I kinda forced my brother to snap a bunch of pics before I left 😉 Trust me…he was loving it…not lol Sorry Matt!

These were my favorite shots…1) My behind kinda looks killer (guess those squats are working) and 2) Because I love showing off the open back style of this top <3

Palm Springs Inspired…

Happy Tuesday Loves! I’ve always dreamed of going to Palm Springs after seeing all of the great Coachella pics on instagram…fun outfits, floppy hats and plenty of florals is totally my scene, so I decided to bring Palm Springs to my little piece of paradise on Long Island…my backyard! My top is from Abercrombie…I’m assuming a clearance find because I don’t think I ever spent regular price there since i was in middle school…my mom always taught me bargains are the way to go 😉 (Similar top is available from Bloomingdales)My lovely little floppy hat (the only hat I actually own by the way) is from Target…last summer (Similar one from Back Country is available)My shoes and shorts are Old Navy finds of course! Like I said, I love a good bargain 😉 I loved the green color of these sandals…don’t they just scream summer?! Shop My Look Below <3

Nautical On The Mile…

Happy Friday Loves! I am so ready for the gorgeous weekend that is upon us…and a great weekend hot spot on Long Island is…the Nautical Mile in Freeport, which is where these photos were shot 🙂 I love a great nautical look, especially in the summer, so what better place to whip out a fun striped skirt and rope inspired wedges than at the Nautical Mile! The Nautical Mile is a street right by the water with bars, restaurants and little shops…a great summer spot!My wedges were a bargain once again…from Payless! I swear, no one ever believes that a lot of my shoes are from Payless and often assume that Payless is a place you go to for cheap and uncomfortable shoes…well not me! These wedges cost me $15.99 and are SO comfortable 🙂 My skirt is from Target…a great clearance find a year or so ago…matched with a simple black cami, you can’t go wrong! I will continue to preach my love for mirrored aviators…I just feel so ‘cool’ in them. That extra pop of color is something every gal needs year round…not just in the summer! My bag was a Saks Off Fifth find…Vince Camuto of course! It’s officially my go to summer bag. Easy, has tons of room and looks great with everything! If I haven’t shared this, I have a serious love for the water…I guess it works out living on Long Island than haha! I simply feel there is no better place to sit and think than by the water…especially on a gorgeous day, this weekend should be filled with them! Concert Crushing…

Happy Weekend Everyone! Summer is the season for concerts! Whether your into rap, pop, rock or hip hop, one thing that’s always a must is attending some awesome concerts! I plan on attending a few this summer…have I mentioned I’ve been to over 50, yes I’m kind of obsessed…oops!

One of the hardest things I find is deciding what to wear. If it’s outdoors you want to dress cute but also comfortably and within minutes I can feel my face getting oily and my lips dry so…here is my survival guide (click each item to shop direct)!

You can never go wrong with sneakers…although sometimes I decide to be dressy and wear heels to a show, half way through I’m switching into flats or flip flops…so I figured Converse or cute Espadrilles like these ones from Rebecca Minkoff are perfect concert attire!

If you are outdoors, spray sun screen before you head to the show…you don’t want to come home looking like a Lobster…no matter how much you say burn turns into tan, the sun burn is pretty painful the next day 😉

I also love just rocking a simple pair of jeans or denim shorts with a lightweight tee or cami. It’s simple, easy and can be dressed up or down depending on the show and your plans before and after!
