Happy Friday Loves ♥

This week has been an absolute whirlwind. From busy days at work, to playing hostess to my brother who is in town visiting to working on blog content…there simply aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done! This weekend is BeautyCon and I am super excited to see all of my favorite brands AND get tips from my fav beauty Youtubers on how they get their makeup looking flawless. With BeautyCon being the IT event of the weekend, that means I need to pick the perfect look + I think I found it from Habitual!

For some reason this look reminded me of the 2000’s. Maybe it’s the denim skirt (I haven’t worn a denim skirt in forever) haha but when I put this look together I instantly had Britney Spears and Paris Hilton come to mind :p

This skirt from Habitual is super fun for summer with it’s pleated, asymmetrical design and I paired it with this mesh button down blouse, also from Habitual (I think the mesh is a fun twist on a traditional button down style). This shirt is great for date night with high waisted pants, a skirt or even cut off shorts. The skirt is ideal to pair with a crop top, fun button down like this one or even a body suit – honestly I am feeling club vibes (wouldn’t Paris totally wear this to Le Deux? haha I think so)

My heels are my new favorites for summer from AMI Clubwear. How cute is this teal color to add a Pop Of Color to any look?! They retail for under $20 here.

This bag is great for everyday errands or heading to dinner etc from GiGi New York! The fun tassel adds a little flare to it + the zip pockets and size make it ideal to fit all of your much needed essentials. I love this style of bag for everyday wear.

Culver City Love Wall…

Valentine’s Day may be over but…love is still in the air if you ask me ♥ I found this shoot I did at the ‘Love Wall’ in Culver City a year ago + decided it was about time to post it…ya know because why not 😉 That’s the part I love about living in LA, there are so many fun walls all over the city just waiting for the perfect insta snap to be taken in front of! Hey…it’s a blogger’s paradise! This wall was crazy busy the weeks leading up to Valentine’s Day for obvious reasons but what I also found was cute was that it wasn’t just bloggers taking photos. It was couples taking engagement photos, little kids having their parents take their photos making silly faces etc. It’s kinda cute how a colorful wall can bring joy to so many different people of all different walks of life…the love wall…spreads…L O V E!

Now back to my look…since yesterday’s post was a date night look in front of the Love Wall, I wanted to share a dress casual look for work today…you know, switch things up!

I love a chic boyfriend blazer for work or play so styling it with a chiffon camisole like this one + some skinny jeans (my favorite pair are the Rockstar skinnies from Old Navy) makes for the ultimate outfit.

Guess what is just WEEKS away?! VALENTINE’S DAY ♥

Whether you will be hanging with your friends or spending the evening having date night with your boo, one thing is for sure…you will be dressed up for it! Traditionally when I had Galentine’s Day, I rocked some cozy PJs + curled up watching Netflix, but this year Mike + I will be celebrating Valentine’s Day early during our trip to Florida (only a few days away ahhh) so what will I be wearing? A little white dress! Yup – you heard me, I am swapping out the traditional LBD for this little white number. Want to know the best part? Happy Thursday Babes! I have been super busy lately between getting everything ready for my upcoming trip to London + working on an exciting top secret project (don’t worry, I will reveal it soon hehe) my blog time has been slacking but I am getting back at it! I can’t believe summer is coming to a close – living in LA it makes it hard to realize a transition in seasons sometimes since the weather doesn’t change like good ‘ole NYC…what can I say, sometimes I miss the big apple! Luckily, today’s post reminds me a little of NYC because I am rocking a chic printed wrap dress from Leota New York! For some reason a classic wrap dress + pointed toe pumps is so ‘New York‘ to me. Maybe it reminds me of my corporate office days + being in the epicenter of the fashion world but I personally will always love playing dress up no matter what the occasion.

This Leota New York dress is beyond comfy + it is beyond flattering on various body types. It is fun, flirty yet professional + chic. Whether you are heading to the boardroom or a nice dinner, this dress paired with the perfect bag + heels is a total ‘must-have‘!

What I love about wrap dresses is how flattering they are. I have been up and down with my weight lately so the fact that it is tight on top and flows out makes it the perfect dress to ‘hide’ anything you may not want to accentuate 😉

The red in the dress was picked up with my red satchel from Miss Locker Bags (it retails for under $100 on Amazon). This bag I wore all over NYC as it has just the right amount of room to fit all of my essentials from my keys, to lipstick, to sunnies + more.

Classic white pumps are always a no brainer. I mean what is more chic than this?
