While I’m not afraid to admit I tend to always go for a ‘nude’ or neutral gloss, every once in a while I feel inspired to spice things up with a shot of red. I’ve always been envious of the girls who had the confidence to pull of a red lip…I was constantly worried that red simply didn’t match with my skin tone or feared looking like a clown or an old lady, but the trick to a perfect red lip is easy…find what shade works best for you. It can be a 99 cent brand or a designer brand, doesn’t make a difference, not all reds look good on everyone…find what works for you!
My personal favorite is ‘Red Haute‘ from Ulta…just the name won me over and the shade suits me perfectly (the one I’m applying in the pictures 😉 )!
