    Happy Weekend Loves ♥ One of my missions when arriving in London was to do a photoshoot with the classic red phone booths by Big Ben. The iconic London sites became my playground for the day as I went in tow with all of my outfits from place to place to capture the perfect outfit shots! In case you ever wondered the amount of work that goes into blogging, here is a little glimpse. Before heading to London I pre-planned every location I wanted to shoot at AND the outfit I wanted to wear at said location (although on social media it looks effortless, I will be the first to tell ya…there is plenty of effort involved haha :p). Since I am one who loves pops of color, red on red made perfect sense in my book 😉

    This red coat was my immediate go-to throughout my London trip. I don’t know why, but I felt this red coat was just so London haha

    Since I wanted all the red pieces to make a statement (and match the phone booth) I paired the coat with this black + white polka dot dress. It was a clearance find at Old Navy + it is perfect for work or play! It fits great + is flattering on all body types.

    This little teddy bear was a surprise Mike packed in my outfit bag before I went out to shoot (talk about #relationshipgoals – yes I am such a mush haha). We got the teddy at the Tower Of London tour where we checked out the Queen’s Jewels + medieval castles which brought me back to my AP European History days in high school 😉

    You can never go wrong with a red bag + shoes, they stand out + dress up any look – even for those that are on the more simple side when it comes to color.

    Happy Monday Loves! Summer is here + I am feeling ‘picnic in the park’ kinda vibes (is that a real thing? because now it is haha)…meaning it’s time to sport some gingham :p Old Navy has become my go-to shop for all things summer…from my white jeans to this gingham printed top, I am ready for work, play and everything in between!     My top comes in a variety of prints (I think this gingham print may be sold out — not 100% sure) 😛 But here is the link to a similar style. It’s tough to wear gingham without looking like a complete picnic table, but I found a way…pair it with skinny fitting white jeans! These Old Navy Rockstar jeans are super comfortable and can be easily dressed up or down.

    My sunnies are from Nordstrom here (the wayfarer style is perfect year round), my red lipstick is shade 02 from Elizabeth Arden and it is my FAVORITE! The shoes were actually a Marshalls find from a few years ago, I found a similar pair from Gilt here.

        • Stay Hydrated + Fueled — Now this is pretty accurate to what you see on TV, it’s rare you see anyone eating during Fashion Week because shows are back to back and any events that do mention they include food…it’s usually champagne and cupcakes (which for me isn’t a well balanced meal haha I like to eat #SorryNotSorry).     I can’t believe it is 4th Of July weekend already! I am happily writing this post by the pool at my apartment building since I have the day off today (so thrilling!) and this is actually a little bit of a flashback to LI while also sharing some July 4th style! I realized as I was editing these photos that A) These were shot in March (guess I was feeling patriotic vibes early haha) + B) All of these photos had what appears to be a blue filter over them…I am thinking my brother was having some mechanical difficulties with the camera that day but nonetheless they came out pretty sweet!
