With fall here that means it is time to step up my beauty game! I always have had a tough time with makeup but as I have been getting older, I have found my favorites, my likes + my ~~dislikes~~…so I rounded up my favorites + the products I am dying to try!

This Elizabeth Arden lipstick is my fall go to (it’s the one I am wearing in yesterdays fall fresh post + giveaway)!So now another thing I am obsessing over (besides all of these gorgeous lip sticks) is this cute cosmetic bag from ShopPrimaDonna.com. Preppy Stripes…

I am going to be completely honest…I never was one for the whole ‘preppy‘ look. I attempted the whole Lacoste phase when I was middle school and wasn’t sure i could truly pull off a polo, but when I saw gals rocking a chambray button down under a sweater I said to myself ‘Let’s give it a shot‘ and I am kinda glad I did 😉

Because the whole denim and sweater look ~~wasn’t~~ preppy enough, I had to wear white jeans (yes I LOVE white jeans year round cc: ‘Feels Like Winter‘), add black patent leather flats and of course…a dash of neon (my satchel is available in my Poshmark closet here). Let’s break it down…this black + white striped sweater has become a favorite of mine (stay tuned to see how else I style it). It’s warm, cozy and black and white stripes are just begging to be paired with white jeans…right? 😉

I’m thinking I have to bring these white jeans with me to Florida in a few days and maybe this chambray button down too (ugh I am creating outfits in my head as I am typing #BloggerProblems)

I kept my shoes + bag simple and preppy…well as long as preppy includes neon and bows 😉 I was searching to patent leather pointed flats with a bow on them FOREVER and finally stumbled upon these ones from Target and I love them. Since I can’t have a look without color I included this yellow satchel (on Poshmark here)

From Holiday to Every Day…

TGIF! What a week it has been…the year has changed, the holiday season has ended and I’ve stocked up on so many sales and deals my closet is nearly about to explode (not ~~kidding~~). One of the struggles that always happens once the holiday season comes to a close is how to recycle all of those great holiday pieces into every day ensembles and today’s look is the first of many posts written with that idea in mind 😉If you missed it, I rocked this shaggy pink coat (available on my Poshmark here) for my New Year’s Eve post along with a beaded skirt and swavorski crystal covered heels…festive for the ball drop of course! But today I dressed down this coat with a simple Topshop for Nordstrom camisole and Hue ‘Leatherette’ Leggings perfect for a Friday night out!One of these accessories has also gotten a lot of use during the holiday season, and now it will be a great going out bag for happy hour…this Michael Kors Python Clutch which I wore here for a different NYE post.I LOVE these nude suede open toe booties year round. They match with everything and nude is always a safe color for when you are ~~unsure~~ of what to wear for a night on the town. I found similar ones from ZooShoo here (for under $50).I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! I will be out shooting some more winter time looks (that’s if I decide to dress weather appropriate…it’s a toss up haha!) and prepping to get back to work in the Big Apple!
