Orange Is The New Black…

Happy Friday & Happy Halloween Loves! In honor of our favorite sweet trick or treat holiday, I had to rock the traditional orange and black 😉 To be even more cliche, I had to head over to the pumpkin patch for some fall festivities and maybe to find the perfect pumpkin to make a Jack-O-Lantern out of! Let’s break down the look…my black faux fur vest is from Karen Kane but I found a similar one from Express here. I feel every gal needs a simple black faux fur vest for fall…dress it up, dress it down…either way you will stay nice and cozy.These black distressed jeans are not only comfortable but once again can be worn for almost ANY occasion…Flying Monkey makes a great pair here. Had to also rock the orange blouse again…twice in one week oh my…see how I styled it earlier in the week here.I love my Rebecca Minkoff mini mac bag…I have it in a few different colors and I’m pretty sure it will be worn tonight for whatever the Halloween night may bring! Black suede boots are always a necessity for fall. Happy Thursday Loves! I often times take a bunch of outfit photos at a time and they pile up within my iPhoto Library sometimes not getting touched for weeks…this look is one of them. While browsing through tons of looks I came across this shoot from over a month ago…yea…I’m running a little behind oops! This shoot was a favorite of mine and not just because of this chic black and white ensemble but because of the great laughs that happened while Sarah shot me! The gal can always make me laugh which was a refreshing change from my typical serious poses I do when my brother shoots my photos. As you can see…we had a little bit of fun 😉 My black and white color blocked button down top was from a little boutique on Long Island, but I found a great top from Karen Kane here (one of my favorite designers) that looks just like this one! My black skater skirt with faux leather trim is from Kohls I believe but I found a similar one from Nordstrom here. I love a simple black skater skirt for fall…they can be dressed up or down and are flattering on almost everyone!My black reptile tote is from Last Call Neiman Marcus…I’ve been wearing it well before fall began and it will never go out of style…black is always in! I love these nude lace up booties that the team at Pink Basis so nicely sent me! Unfortunately they are no longer available, but I found a similar alternative from Nine West at around the same price point. Once again rocking my favorite Kendra Scott ring from the Reward Style NYFW party…isn’t it gorgeous…I’m a bit obsessed <3Now for a fabulous outfit out take…cue laughter…I was celebrating my love for blogging…or Sarah was telling a really funny joke…either or this happened. Don’t Be Basic…

Happy Wednesday Loves! I am a bit obsessed with this outfit A) Because Sarah shot the photos and made me look pretty decent…I’m always wary when anyone other than my brother or sister shoot me, but I think she did a fabulous job & B) Because I love this ‘Don’t Be Basic‘ graphic tee for fall! I got this tee at Target but I found a similar one from Revolve Clothing. My faux leather jacket (which I have had since high school) is LC By Lauren Conrad at Kohls…can you tell yet that I am a huge fan of her collection? I found a similar one from Old Navy (have to keep the low price point!).

Now to break down my fall accessories…My Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag was one of the best Christmas gifts I ever got…from when I was a freshman in college. I got hooked on designer bags at a young age and have been collecting ever since…my closet loves it, my wallet not so much. I spotted these Report Shoes booties on clearance at Marshalls a month ago and knew instantly they were going to be my must have fall shoe…comfortable, affordable and stylish…you can’t beat that combination.

Kendra Scott jewelry was at the Reward Style party during NYFW and gifted us bloggers this fabulous drusy ring. It’s edgy and fun…my go to piece when it comes to standing out!

My maroon skater skirt is from the fab team at Pink Basis…it’s no longer available but I spotted a similar one at Target. Maroon is one of my favorite hues for fall!

Maroon Moment…

Happy Wednesday Loves! Sharing a new fall look today with brand new nude lace up booties and a fabulous maroon skater skirt from Pink Basis! You guys know how much I love showing a little leg, but with this outfit it’s an easy summer to fall transition look…the weather in NYC isn’t quite cool enough to begin layering but it also isn’t nearly 100 degrees like the heat wave currently happening in LA, so what is a gal to do? Wear this look 😉 Duh! I love this maroon skater skirt…maroon is becoming my favorite hue for fall! I paired it with an embroidered ivory peplum top from Kohls (similar available from Forever 21) and I am ready to head off for a day filled with appointments. I am obsessed with this beige studded tote from Last Call Neiman Marcus…unfortunately it already sold out! (Can you see why? It looks identical to the Valentino Rockstud Tote) I found a similar tote…minus the studs from Fossil at Nordstrom! These booties are everything…comfortable, stylish and totally on point in regards to fall footwear trends. I think nude booties are going to be my signature shoe for the season. Had to layer a little bling with this look…of course some white on white action. A white triangle necklace matches with everything and adds a statement to any look. I don’t know about you, but this week has already exhausted me and it is only Wednesday…I’ve been working on some exciting new projects and have been updating my Poshmark closet…have your checked it out? These NYLA shoes are called ‘Symphony‘…doesn’t that name just roll of the tongue? They come in black, blush and bone…the pair I am wearing are the ‘blush‘ tone. I love this hue for year round…don’t hesitate to wear certain colors just because it’s ‘out of season’ make it work with the proper ensemble!My bag? Of course it’s from Rebecca Minkoff…we know I’m a bit obsessed…what can I say when I find a designer I love I stick with them! It’s called the ‘Mini MAB Tote‘ and while I’m holding it has a little accessory in these photos, it also comes with a leather strap to wear it as a cross body…perfect for a night out! And sorry guys, but I had to rock some retro inspired sunnies for this look…yes I am slowly getting used to not wearing sunglasses for every outfit post, but sometimes they just make the look…like they did for this one 😉Shop My Look<3
