Happy Wednesday Lovers! So it may be rainy and cold this week but I discovered a way to brighten things up around here…with a colorful outfit post…duh! Contrary to popular belief neon isn’t just for summer…case and point…this look 😉 I can never have too much color in my wardrobe…it’s what makes me me! I based this whole look off of two fabulous pieces…1) This neon Kendra Scott Necklace + 2) This Neiman Marcus cobalt blue tote…both of which I am in LOVE with <3 My shoes remind me of Chanel…why? Because they are classic tweed except with a ~~twist~~…an open toe! (P.S. I am selling them on my Poshmark here) They are comfortable, classy and are perfect for the office…year round!Now for the rest of the look…I had a thing for quilted in this post. Black quilted vest, gray quilted skirt…I just love quilted stitching…it’s timeless and always looks ‘put together’.To make the look a little different, I opted for a chambray button down (this one from Gilt is great)…I kinda had a thing for blue hues if you couldn’t already tell…speaking of…Yup, mirrored aviators…something every gal is after AND they make an awesome holiday gift for gals of all ages! My sister is 14 and is obsessed with her Ray Bans and my mom can even be seen rocking a pair from time to time…what does this tell us? Mirrored aviators…a holiday MUST! I wish the weather was warmer so that I could actually rock this colorful number but hey for now I will accept just sharing it with you 🙂 BTW as I am writing this I am watching the first episode of Bravo’s new series ‘Girlfriends Guide To Divorce’…and I am OBSESSED. TGIF! It’s been a long week my loves and the shot above shows exactly how I feel now…ready for a nice, relaxing weekend…sometimes after a hectic week it’s necessary to be able sit back and just live in the moment (so hard to do not going to lie…but I try). Fall means many things to me…one of my favorites? It’s finally time to wear my beloved faux fur vests from Karen Kane like the black one I am wearing today! This vest is no longer available from Karen Kane but I found a similar one from Express here. My white button down blouse and reptile printed pants are both from Old Navy! They are from a year ago so the styles have changed, so I found great alternatives from GUESS and Banana Republic here & here.Now to break down my shoes, accessories and bling…My black leather bucket bag is vintage Coach from my mama…I tend to enjoy raiding her handbag collection every now and then…oops (insert monkey covering it’s face emoji…can I just say I wish emojis could be inserted on the computer and within my blog posts…they would totally add to the tone of the post right?!). Payless always has me covered when it comes to footwear trends on a budget. Open toe booties with a wooden heel are very ‘in’ for fall…they are the perfect casual shoe for fall and I got them for a steal. I found similar ones here from Dolce Vita since I believe these Payless ones are no longer available.My gold Kendra Scott ‘Ivy’ bracelet was a gift from the Kendra Scott team at NYFW at the Reward Style party and it is stunning as you can see. I never tend to wear red nail polish but I caved in for one week only and I’m kind of warming up to the idea of red nails…for some reason red nail polish reminds me of something an older mature woman would wear…I’m mature butttt I have my immature moments 😉 Now I’m off to some weekend planning…and outfit shoot planning…blogging never sleeps and apparently neither do I haha But when you do something you love it doesn’t feel like work right?Shop My Look<3

Happy Friday Loves! I got a special little package the other day from Lysse and I couldn’t wait to style this top…yes ladies and gents this ‘white dress’ is actually the Lysse Cold Shoulder Top with Inner Control Tank. I decided to be adventurous and order it in a larger size so I can rock it as a dress AND as a top…versatility…that’s the best thing to incorporate into your closet 🙂 My necklace is from Sparkle Republic Jewelry and I’d say it definitely sparkles 😉 One of the things I love about blogging? Getting to try out new brands and showcase them on my site! My shoes are from…drum roll please…Payless! I love nude strappy sandals! They are gorgeous for every occasion and nude elongates your legs! My neon satchel is from Steve Madden, while it’s no longer available, I found a similar one from Michael Kors! Sorry but I love my mirrored aviators…definitely wearing them year round and I’m convinced I look bad a** with them 😉 Or at least I’d like to think so! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend…I’m not quite sure what I have planned yet, but I am attending a night of comedy later tonight at my client’s bar & grill ‘Light House On The Runway‘…will you guys do me a favor? Happy Wednesday Loves! While I love to wear fun and casual outfits, sometimes I need to play dress up and act like an adult (just sometimes 😉 ). I’ve discovered it’s become easier in today’s day and age to not only dress office appropriate, but stylish as well. It’s all about hemlines, cuts and colors. I enjoy a great ‘Pop Of Color’ even when it comes to office wear!My ever favorite white boyfriend blazer is from the LC By Lauren Conrad collection at Kohls. I realized all of my blazers are pretty much from that collection…what can I say I’m a gal that gets stuck on what I like, is that a crime? 😉 My cobalt blue blouse is from Old Navy. It adds just the right amount of color to stand out at the office without being inappropriate. I love my black scuba skirt from Target. The scuba fabric has been a summer favorite as well as a personal favorite of mine! Now for my shoes, as if I haven’t already shared the deets on these a bunch of times, they were a Payless find! Yes, I will forever be stunned that I found my perfect nude ankle strap sandal at Payless…it was the best purchase I had ever made there! My snakeskin envelope clutch is from Target. I love how unique it is. I was never a big clutch fan (I always need a huge bag to carry everything including the kitchen sink) but for some reason I fell hard for this bag the moment I spotted it…I’d say the $8 price tag helped contribute to the love affair as well 😉 Sometimes dressing professional isn’t as boring as it seems 😉 Or at least when it comes to me it isn’t! Happy Tuesday Loves! I’m loving this warm weather and even more I’m loving bright colors like this ‘Wattamelon’ inspired color combination…pink and green! So you may be wondering why I named this post ‘Wattamelon‘ instead of ‘Watermelon’…well my dad has a favorite dessert and it’s called the ‘Wattamelon Roll‘ from Friendly’s, so why not name this color combination that…pretty fitting no? 🙂 My fabulous mint top and some of my jewels are courtesy of Shoot The Moon LA! Brining LA vibes to Long Island, the color of this top is stunning! I mean who doesn’t love to feel minty fresh, right? 😉 Recognize these shoes? Yea, I’ve been wearing them a lot lately, nude strappy sandals simply go with everything! I still can’t believe I bought these beauties at Payless a year ago…yes gals Payless is stepping up their game! They look fab with everything, but white jeans are the perfect match for them and for summer! My statement making pink bracelet is from Shoot The Moon LA as well and it’s named ‘When In Cabo‘ how cute is that! My ‘M’ initial cuff is from C Wonder…I loved the white and pink combination, even for my arm swag! I love this ‘Cocktail Party‘ necklace (also from Shoot The Moon LA)…as if my outfit didn’t scream fun in the sun, my cocktail inspired necklace sure helps add to the summer fun! Any unique accessory is a total ‘must’ by me! I’m also obsessed with my white frosted link jelly bracelet from BaubleBar…chain link bracelet without the heavy feeling? Score! My nude cross body bag is from the Coach legacy collection. It’s no longer available but I found one that is quite similar from Rebecca Minkoff! A nude bag is essential to any wardrobe…matches with everything and never goes out of style.So another reason why I LOVE this look? Who else makes a pink moto jacket other than the fabulous Karen Kane…seriously I died when they sent me this. Cute, edgy and girly all wrapped into one..win win for Missy! Shop My Look Below <3
