Happy Friday Lovers! I for one am excited for the weekend after having an exhausting week (and exhausting doesn’t even cover it). I plan on doing a few things 1) Having sushi at some point…in case I didn’t already share this fun fact about myself, it is one of my favorite foods 2) Seeing the new Reese Witherspoon movie…because my other favorite food is involved…popcorn & 3) Go on the hunt for super skinny ankle skinny jeans for my new C. Wonder boots that are part of my ‘holiday gift guide’ from yesterday (if you missed it it’s here)! And as every weekend goes…outfit shoots and another gift guide will be happening 😉 Stay on the look out!
I became obsessed with the idea of needing a canvas coat months ago when I saw a few fashionistas rocking it on their blogs (I am always inspired by other bloggers…it’s such a vast yet tight knight community that truly influences each other). I love this canvas coat because it is one of my favorite fall/winter hues…olive green (similar available at 6pm here). 
For some reason I love the combination of olive green + purple. I’ve done it previously with camo pants and violet pumps (here) and I decided to use that idea with a purple skater skirt and green coat.
Speaking of Christmas gifts…this Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag was one of the best Christmas gifts I ever got and it was given to me from good ole Saint Nick aka my parents when I was a sophmore in high school…and I still wear it all the time…good job mom and dad 😉 I love the Speedy bag because it’s roomy but not as huge as my Neverfull so it is a great in between.
While I always tend to wear mirrored aviators, for this look I figured let’s switch things up and go for the black aviators like these ones (on sale for under $75).
These taupe suede lace up booties (these are similar ones from Ralph Lauren) have been and still are an absolute favorite of mine. Comfortable, stylish and this hue matches with everything (which makes me love them that much for).
