Happy Humpday Loves! This title was slightly creative on my part. This outfit was shot at my elementary school on Long Island! Talk about back to school…or in this case back to Chambray because this top has been in my closet since the fall and it is even better because it can be worn year round! It came back around again 😉 A great ‘Shop Genius’ find from Nordstrom Rack…oh how I love a good deal!In addition to rocking a great chambray find, I am sporting a piece from the Catherine Malandrino Collection for Kohls…total price? $10…yes people, $10. I always wait for the designer collections to hit the clearance sections of Kohls and Target…9 times out of 10 they never sell out…unless it’s Missoni because that flew off the shelves, nothing in the clearance section there!Gotta love a ‘whip my hair’ moment…joys of a 13 year old being your photographer…she catches every moment! Knowing me, bling and a killer manicure is always involved when it comes to an outfit post! I will never get sick of this ‘Borrowed Blue’ Essie nail polish, my Michael Michael Kors Gold Chain Watch or my ‘M’ Initial Necklace which I received from my Grandma when I was little…sometimes the basics never go out of style! Another signature must have that will never fade…nude wedges! Steve Madden is one of my go to designers when it comes to footwear especially wedges because they are so comfortable! You can actually shop mine on Poshmark {I love them but I need to make room in my closet…the amount of shoes I own is scary haha}In addition to my love for nude wedges…I love a great nude / beige bag. This Coach one does just the trick. I feel every gal needs a great cross body bag for day trips, nights out and more…this bag has room for all your essentials and is amazing quality because it’s Coach of course! Like My Look? Casual Meets Sparkle

Leave it up to me to dress up an otherwise ordinary outfit with some brightly colored accessories to make a statement. There is something I love about adding a little glitz and glam to a casual outfit that calls for some glances. This outfit is one of those looks!

I scored this gray H&M sweater for $10…on clearance right before Christmas…yes people a $10 oversized sweater is pretty much a little slice of heaven to me! Naturally oversized sweaters look great with simple leggings like I’m wearing, but I have this thing for adding a little extra something weather it be a blazer, cardigan or in this case a denim vest.

Typically winter is a time for quilted puffer vests or faux fur vests (which if you’ve seen previous posts you know I certainly wear a lot of), but why not break the mold and go for denim…yes the whole point of a vest is a little extra warmth, but with an already warm and cozy sweater I think it’s just fine to go for a fashionable look and rock a little denim in the winter! It’s always a smart idea to think and dress outside the box!

As with every look, it’s all about the accessories. These Old Navy booties have lasted me 2 years of harsh weather conditions and are still as fabulous as the day I bought them. The color goes with practically everything and they are super comfortable! To add to the casual, laid back look, I went for a mini satchel cross-body bag from Rebecca Minkoff. The rose gold color adds a little extra glam to any outfit and it has enough room to fit all the essentials and lays perfectly.

Last but not least, my favorite part of this look…this H&M stunning necklace. I got this on clearance back in the spring and every time I wear it I cause a stir! It’s huge, sparkly and simply amazing! Adding a statement necklace to any ensemble adds a little extra ‘oomph’ that every fashionista desires!

‘Lust VS. Must’ – Quilted Blue Bag

I spotted this cobalt blue beauty on a few fashion bloggers and I instantly fell in love. Naturally I have taste for the finer things in life, however I certainly don’t have the budget to buy them, so on this week’s edition of ‘Lust vs. Must’ I bring to you the cheaper yet still chic version of the cobalt blue Chanel bag I fell head over *heels* for!

While I couldn’t find an exact price on this Chanel show stopper, I’m sure it’s in the thousands, so I found a few great options to try!

Some other great quilted blue bag options I found are also reasonably affordable. I happen to have a love for Rebecca Minkoff, especially her handbags, so I fell in love when I found her ‘Affair’ bag in blue! You can get the large version with studs at either Nordstrom or Zappos, or the ‘mini’ version without studs at Nordstrom!

If your a Michael Kors fan your in luck! Michael has a great quilted blue bag on sale at Piperlime for $213! I love the metal closure on the front and it’s also a perfect going out bag since it’s small and compact!
