Happy Monday Loves! I once again am beating Monday blues with a little…Blue! I am OBSESSED with the whole moto jacket trend for fall…and I love it even more when I can find great ones at an affordable price like this powder blue moto jacket from Apt.9 at Kohls! Never doubt the possibility of finding a great trend piece for less without forgoing on quality 😉 So time to reveal a little secret…A few people have asked on here and on instagram about if the weather where I am is still warm…well no not really haha. My brother shoots my outfits and we tend to shoot a bunch of looks at a time so I have looks I’ve shot in the warmer weather that will be sprinkled in amongst colder weather looks on the blog. I definitely couldn’t have rocked this skirt ensemble yesterday because it was FREEZING on Long Island…I only got one outfit shot because I was too chicken to fight the cold…pretty sure I’m meant to be in warmer climate lol (insert monkey covering eyes emoji here)Now let’s break down the look…My white crop top is from J Lo for Kohls and you can score it now for…drum roll please $4! YES $4. Dress it up, dress it down and wear it season to season. And I made it perfect for fall by layering the moto jacket and adding a cute black floppy hat. A simple black scuba skirt is always a sure bet to tie a look together and the best part is that it is a transitional piece to wear year round.I had to have my traditional ‘Pop Of Color’ by adding this magenta Rayne necklace from Kendra Scott…what better way to bring summer into the fall / winter.These black suede boots have been an absolute life saver when it comes to easily feeling sexy in the cold fall weather. Happy Thursday Loves! I often times take a bunch of outfit photos at a time and they pile up within my iPhoto Library sometimes not getting touched for weeks…this look is one of them. While browsing through tons of looks I came across this shoot from over a month ago…yea…I’m running a little behind oops! This shoot was a favorite of mine and not just because of this chic black and white ensemble but because of the great laughs that happened while Sarah shot me! The gal can always make me laugh which was a refreshing change from my typical serious poses I do when my brother shoots my photos. As you can see…we had a little bit of fun 😉 My black and white color blocked button down top was from a little boutique on Long Island, but I found a great top from Karen Kane here (one of my favorite designers) that looks just like this one! My black skater skirt with faux leather trim is from Kohls I believe but I found a similar one from Nordstrom here. I love a simple black skater skirt for fall…they can be dressed up or down and are flattering on almost everyone!My black reptile tote is from Last Call Neiman Marcus…I’ve been wearing it well before fall began and it will never go out of style…black is always in! I love these nude lace up booties that the team at Pink Basis so nicely sent me! Unfortunately they are no longer available, but I found a similar alternative from Nine West at around the same price point. Once again rocking my favorite Kendra Scott ring from the Reward Style NYFW party…isn’t it gorgeous…I’m a bit obsessed <3Now for a fabulous outfit out take…cue laughter…I was celebrating my love for blogging…or Sarah was telling a really funny joke…either or this happened. Don’t Be Basic…

Happy Wednesday Loves! I am a bit obsessed with this outfit A) Because Sarah shot the photos and made me look pretty decent…I’m always wary when anyone other than my brother or sister shoot me, but I think she did a fabulous job & B) Because I love this ‘Don’t Be Basic‘ graphic tee for fall! I got this tee at Target but I found a similar one from Revolve Clothing. My faux leather jacket (which I have had since high school) is LC By Lauren Conrad at Kohls…can you tell yet that I am a huge fan of her collection? I found a similar one from Old Navy (have to keep the low price point!).

Now to break down my fall accessories…My Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag was one of the best Christmas gifts I ever got…from when I was a freshman in college. I got hooked on designer bags at a young age and have been collecting ever since…my closet loves it, my wallet not so much. I spotted these Report Shoes booties on clearance at Marshalls a month ago and knew instantly they were going to be my must have fall shoe…comfortable, affordable and stylish…you can’t beat that combination.

Kendra Scott jewelry was at the Reward Style party during NYFW and gifted us bloggers this fabulous drusy ring. It’s edgy and fun…my go to piece when it comes to standing out!

My maroon skater skirt is from the fab team at Pink Basis…it’s no longer available but I spotted a similar one at Target. Maroon is one of my favorite hues for fall!

Pretty In Pink…

Happy Monday Loves! October isn’t just a month filled with fall festivals, pumpkins and Halloween decorations…October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, a cause dear to my heart. I’ve come to discover that everyone has in some way, shape or form been affected by Breast Cancer. Breast Cancer runs in my family and this time of year is a reminder to visit the doctor and take pre-caution…always be aware of what can happen and what steps to take to prevent it. Please join me in donating to one of the numerous foundations that help raise funds for preventative research and to find a cure 🙂Pink is the color that comes to mind when you think of Breast Cancer Awareness. The pink ribbon represents hope and the continued fight we all take part in to work towards a cure…so I decided a pink ensemble was a must to commemorate. My light pink pleated skirt is from Target…it’s such a girly piece and I love it! I paired it with my favorite black crop top from Jennifer Lopez for Kohls and my signature LC By Lauren Conrad white blazer. More pink…my Cameron Silver for Nine West pink sole pumps and my Michael Kors neon pink jet set tote (which is for sale on my Poshmark closet here!). Shop My Look<3
