    I hope ya’ll had a great weekend! My boo + I had some campaigns to shoot, we had a spooky movie night in + we headed to Six Flags…safe to say we had a busy weekend! There simply aren’t enough hours in the weekend, I feel like we always want to lay low + relax but then we end up keeping way too busy for relaxing haha :p anyone else experience the same thing?

    Anyways…for casual weekends, I love to wear cute yet comfy outfits, just like this one.     What I love about rocking a shirt dress is you can style it various ways. While I wore it here with OTK boots, I have seen gals wear it over jeans + booties or with sexy heels for date night, the options are endless and that is what I look for when I had new pieces to my closet, are they versatile enough to style multiple ways + create numerous looks?     I love a great pair of OTK boots. No matter how you style them, they keep ya warm + looking sexy haha I particularly like these ones because they have a chunky heel making them easy to walk in all day long. I actually wore these babies all around Europe last fall + winter. Safe to say these boots were made for walking…

    This Gucci Soho Tote is an oldie but a goodie. I bought this baby back in NYC years ago + it was a perfect commuter bag to cary my laptop, essentials etc. I love the Gucci Soho collection although it’s becoming a thing of the past. I feel the style is classic + timeless, something that years from now will still look chic no matter what the current trend.

    Now I don’t know about you but I am BEYOND excited for fall to be here…the hot LA temps are causing me to stay inside daily + bast in the AC. It’s time for a little breeze + some fall style. One of my favorite parts of fall…you guessed it, BOOTS! Whether it is ankle boots, peep toe booties, over the knee boots, etc…the list goes on + on, I love how one boot can totally elevate your fall style. A lot of my boots have truly lasted me YEARS to be honest.

     Happy Fri- Y A Y! This week has been cray cray! With just one week till Coachella (which I will be attending this year), I have been rushing around snagging the perfect pieces to wear but along the way I stopped and visited one of the classic sites in LA to shoot photos at, the LACMA! For some reason when I styled this look together it made me feel like a Kardashian (definitely something I do not strive to be haha) however the style felt like something Kim, Khloe or Kourtney may wear haha.

    Spring is in full swing but in LA it is still quite ‘in’ to continue rocking faux fur + OTK boots, so this look is right on trend for date night or a girls night out (pretty much the perfect Friday night outfit)!

    One piece from this look that can be worn year round no matter how hot or cold temps get in LA (or anywhere for that matter) is this beige midi dress. Layer pieces over it like cardigans, vests or moto jackets, or leave it alone with just sandals for festival season! Either way, this neutral dress is a must-have to add to your current rotation.

     Happy Monday ♥ I am definitely having a case of the Monday Blues today…I spent this past weekend in Palm Springs to kick off my birthday week (I can’t believe I am turning 25 on Friday…a quarter of a century old…it’s all down hill from here right? :p) JK…have to look at the bright side, with older age comes wisdom, better style + class and elegance that takes years to achieve.

    Anyways…while I am still 24, I love to sport casual cozy looks like this one with my winter signature essentials…a blanket scarf + OTK boots! I love when comfort + style intersect and with these boots and this scarf, that’s exactly what happens!


    Don’t you just love when sunshine is beaming down on you and you are warm and toasty in your outfit? I sure do!

    I can’t get enough of blanket scarves! (I did a whole roundup of my favorites HERE)

    A great scarf steals the show so it is easy to pair with skinny jeans, a lightweight camisole + a long duster cardigan (like this ONE).



    These OTK boots are currently on sale from Target + are really comfortable for all day wear. (I put them to the test for ya haha)

     Bye Bye 2016 ?  2017 is just hours away…we had a crazy year! From the world of politics to the fashion industry to entertainment, 2016 has came + went with a whirlwind of happenings…but one thing that has been steadfast throughout is my love of fashion + mixing & matching high end with low end to create chic looks for anytime wear! No matter what happens in the world, I will sure as h*ll will try to look stylish while handling it haha 😉

    This year has been filled with some of my favorite looks + moments. I have been blogging for a few years now, but this year I feel like I have truly come into my own. I have found my aesthetic when it comes to photography, style + writing AND I have really found my stride when it comes to my career. No matter how many times life has tried to knock me down, I have gotten back up with grace + plenty of style ♥ 2016 has been the year of becoming a strong, independent woman and I couldn’t be happier with where I am in life than I am right now.
