Happy Wednesday Babes ♥

I hope your week is off to a great start! I am prepping for a busy weekend ahead filled with photoshoots (and my first ever video shoot – eek I am super excited but also nervous hehe :p). The blog is growing more + more day by day which is amazing! I get to work with killer brands + create fun content for all of you! If you are new here or are still simply learning more about me, my style is filled with fun ‘Pops Of Color’ + girly accents. Whether it’s a flirty skirt like I am wearing here or a sassy dress, the girlier the better!

This rings true for today’s outfit. The unicorn trend is all over the place lately and when I saw this colorful fringe cardigan from Olive and Pepper, I knew I NEEDED it! It’s fun, sassy + is great to style with a plain white tee + a pair of jeans, or with a skater skirt + heels like you see here.

Versatile pieces that can make a statement + be styled multiple ways are always a WIN in my book. Another WIN about this cardigan? It’s price! It retails for just $48 – I mean you can’t beat that!!

Here I styled the cardigan with a basic white chiffon camisole + one of my favorite pink skater skirts. I live for skater skirts because they are great for work or play and are flattering on almost every body type!

Both of these pieces are essential for every gal’s wardrobe…sometimes building your closet is all about stocking up on basics you can mix + match.

My heels are another basic I think every gal should stock up on since they are so versatile for any occasion. I love a classic white ankle strap heel…they make your foot look great, show off that new pedicure + are simple and sexy.

My bag is also from Olive and Pepper. It’s an instant summer hit that everyone is wearing! Plus it looks like the Cult Gaia bag for a fraction of the cost!

Saying Hello To Summer In Style…

HELLO SUMMER ♥

Ok…technically it isn’t officially summer yet (that is June 21st) although whenever Memorial Day comes around in my mind, it’s summer hehe :p Since I am in a summer state-of-mind, that means I have to dress like it. Two things I love in life…discovering new boutiques to find the cutest looks AND discovering new murals around LA to shoot in front of (always on the hunt for the gram…no joke, my BF comes home daily telling me about colored walls he has found haha :p #walladdict)

This post combines my two loves, a new look from a new boutique AND a new wall. Carerra Cafe on Melrose swaps out the mural on their wall every month or two + I have to admit, sometimes it’s a lame promo for a movie or TV show but this time it was the cutest freakin’ wall I ever did see! When I spotted it I told my BF my famous words he dreads hearing…’I have a vision‘ meaning he’s on photographer duty + he will be spending his weekend shooting outfits hehe :p Luckily he loves me + I pay him in Philly Cheesesteaks haha!

Before I go on + on about how much I LOVE this wall, I need to go on + on about how this adorable floral ruffle dress from Poppy and Sky! It is the perfect summer staple. With ruffle detailing, floral print + a flirty silhouette it is for sure a must-have. My BF called it ‘farmer girl chic’, honestly…I’ll take it haha! I literally love it so much.
