I first fell in love with social media and blogging when I was a senior in college in NYC. I took a bunch of classes and learned how influential social media was becoming and how it can truly make or break a business. Somehow after interning and freelancing I became inspired enough to launch my own social media consulting business in which I had clients from all different walks of life, all with different wants and needs and all with one common question…’What is a hashtag?’ haha OK maybe they had a few more questions than that but either way something I always needed? A nice quiet workspace.

Well I found it! WeWork and smartwater teamed up to create a cool, calm and collected workspace fit for blogging in NYC and it was my go-to workspace for the past few weeks! With its clean design and uplifting vibe it was the perfect space to get some projects done and clear my head. The space was filled with fun designed clouds that light up to music, plenty of smartwater and a bunch of work stations and couches to relax after a long day of writing (which is much needed)!

One of the things I love most about this space is the ‘Words Of Wisdom’ on the wall. ‘Great Things Happen Little By Little & Sip By Sip‘…I am a true believer in that! Having some inspiring words surrounding you in any workspace is key to having ‘Positive Vibes Only’ 🙂

I decided to share the spotlight with one of the most important parts of my life: my dog Charlie! My dad being the brilliant guy he is suggested I do a photo shoot with my little munchkin and right away I reminisced of a Miss Charlotte York (Sex and The City) and her King Charles Cavalier Spaniel named ‘Elizabeth Taylor‘. My look was inspired by Charlotte because tell me you couldn’t see Charlotte walking through central park in bright blue pumps and a tweed blazer…I sure could 🙂

From Work To Play!

Finally some warmer weather has hit NYC! It may not be for long, but while it’s here I want to embrace finally being able to wear a skirt without totally freezing my butt off! This outfit is a mix of old and new.

One of my favorite accessories in this outfit is my scarf. I got it on clearance at H&M I’d say a good 3-4 years ago and it felt like a blast from the past when I decided to pair it with this outfit. I love the print of the scarf because it reminds me of something Dolce and Gabbana put out a few years ago…I was going for the whole ‘Look For Less’ thing when I purchased it haha! Sometimes a unique accessory is all an outfit needs to look polished and put together!

This look can transition from day to night and from work to play. For the office, remove the leather jacket and bam cute and stylish outfit to wear to work. Add the leather jacket, and it’s the perfect outfit for Happy Hour or a Girls Night Out! To make the look cute, sexy and professional I added these fabulous Anne Klein pumps I scored at Burlington Coat Factory for a whopping $20…yes this was a steal I was beyond thrilled about!

I love this look because it’s easy and flattering…who doesn’t love showing some leg and even better who doesn’t feel like a total bad ass rocking a leather jacket?! I sure do 😉
