Maxi Moment…

Happy Monday loves! Time for another busy week of blogging, work and appointments, but I’m still reminiscing about how fabulous this past weekend was! The weather was great and my outfits…casual yet chic in Soho 🙂 I decided to rock my first ever ‘Maxi’ type piece…shocking I know. Since I’m 5’3 I usually have a hard time wearing longer lengths, but I spotted this skirt at Nordstrom Rack and totally gave in!I’m once again wearing my Dominie Luxury Jelly Tote…this bag has been a huge hit. Ladies everywhere are asking me where I got it, how much and what designer is it. Well…it’s from Dominie Luxury in California…it costs $147 and is the perfect summer bag! My shoes were a great Payless find during their huge sandal sale…you know I can never turn down a sale…especially on shoes! These wedges are totally comfy and cute…perfect summer combo ladies 🙂Aren’t they great? I think I will be living in these all summer! And while I embraced the maxi skirt trend, I always reverted back to Chambray and layered a simple chambray button down over the skirt for the ultimate casual weekend look 🙂 I got lucky with Nordstrom Rack…my top and skirt are both from their clearance racks!

Back To Chambray…

Happy Humpday Loves! This title was slightly creative on my part. This outfit was shot at my elementary school on Long Island! Talk about back to school…or in this case back to Chambray because this top has been in my closet since the fall and it is even better because it can be worn year round! It came back around again 😉 A great ‘Shop Genius’ find from Nordstrom Rack…oh how I love a good deal!In addition to rocking a great chambray find, I am sporting a piece from the Catherine Malandrino Collection for Kohls…total price? $10…yes people, $10. I always wait for the designer collections to hit the clearance sections of Kohls and Target…9 times out of 10 they never sell out…unless it’s Missoni because that flew off the shelves, nothing in the clearance section there!Gotta love a ‘whip my hair’ moment…joys of a 13 year old being your photographer…she catches every moment! Knowing me, bling and a killer manicure is always involved when it comes to an outfit post! I will never get sick of this ‘Borrowed Blue’ Essie nail polish, my Michael Michael Kors Gold Chain Watch or my ‘M’ Initial Necklace which I received from my Grandma when I was little…sometimes the basics never go out of style! Another signature must have that will never fade…nude wedges! Steve Madden is one of my go to designers when it comes to footwear especially wedges because they are so comfortable! You can actually shop mine on Poshmark {I love them but I need to make room in my closet…the amount of shoes I own is scary haha}In addition to my love for nude wedges…I love a great nude / beige bag. This Coach one does just the trick. I feel every gal needs a great cross body bag for day trips, nights out and more…this bag has room for all your essentials and is amazing quality because it’s Coach of course! Like My Look? Missy In Manhasset…

Missy wasn’t on Madison yesterday, she was in Manhasset! I was so happy to attend the opening of the newest Nordstrom Rack location on Long Island, Manhasset. I got to meet the fabulous Sheryl from ‘Walk In Wonderland‘ and shop some amazing steals before the official grand opening today!

I love Sheryl’s blog and I always love the chance to meet and mingle with other bloggers. They understand the constant need for photos, the best angles and what to show off…Sheryl even made sure both of our handbags were front and center for our photo 🙂 She was such a sweetie, in fact the entire event was! They had fabulous snacks to munch on…nom nom nom and of course amazing accessories, shoes and handbags that I fell in love with! I’m glad I wore a casual look because I wasn’t simply snapping pics but also shopping…oops 😉

Not going to lie, I was so busy shopping I didn’t even stop for a snack break, but I did stop to take a photo, how cute are these? And one of my favorites from Nordstrom Rack…all the Kate Spade jewels and bags…can you say ‘Live Colorfully’?!

Now to my outfit. Well I thought it was only suiting to pay homage to Nordstrom Rack by rocking this chambray top from them! I love a little chambray layered over a tank…it’s easy and fun! I am also obsessed with my new nude, studded handbag from Neiman Marcus Last Call. I spotted it and right away thought it looked like the Valentino bag I was lusting after and had to have it! Isn’t it great? I loved it so much I bought it in 2 other colors 🙂 Bling is always an essential, along with a great Essie manicure. This mani…Bikini So Teeny, don’t you just love the fun names of nail polishes! These shoes are an oldie but a goodie. I bought these from Steve Madden 4 years ago and they are still a favorite of mine. They match with everything and are super comfortable…every gal needs a great nude wedge! Every girl loves a little bling! I decided to play with layering and rock a hamsa hand, a star and a skull! Taking risks 😉
