Happy Tuesday Loves! Can you tell I was listening to Destiny’s Child while writing this post? ‘Say My Name’ is one of my favorite songs and my other bit of inspiration for this post was Bravo’s new series called ‘Jersey Belle’ where Jersey native Jaime Primak Sullivan leaves the world of cannolis and the Sopranos for the preppy and fully monogrammed town of Mountain Brook, Alabama. I love how there was an entire episode just about how much southern women love their monograms. Bath towels, shirts, even underwear…all with their monograms…a little overboard, but nonetheless I’m kind of obsessed myself! Shop Dandy has all the monogramed pieces you are craving (they are a Southern boutique, so it’s only fitting they stock up on monograms!). I bought this lucite pencil holder (which I so cleverly turned into a places to store my makeup brushes) and an oversized signature key ring…it solved the whole loosing my keys in my oversized purse problem instantly 😉 I also love C wonder for great monogrammed pieces. I’ve gotten signature cuffs and jewelry boxes from them. Helps me remember who I am on days that I get so busy I practically loose my mind 😉 I also love Graphic Image New York / GiGi NY for some great leather and monograms…clutches, planners and phone cases…all with my stamp of approval, my initials <3Shop My Picks Below <3

A timeless classic that’ll never go out of style is wearing your birthstone. Since my birthday is this month, my birthstone happens to also double as my favorite color…amethyst! I personally wear my birthstone everyday in the form of this chic ring from Macy’s that I bought myself back in high school (yes, sometimes you need to treat yourself 😉 right ladies?)

I feel a birthstone is a piece of jewelry every fashionista should wear, it’s simple and understated. Whether you wear it as a necklace, a bracelet or even a ring, it’s bling that tells a little about you, or at least says when you were born! These pieces below are some of my favorites from the amethyst birthstone this month. #1..the David Yurman bracelet is on my ‘lust‘ list that needs to become a ‘must’ 😉 It’s a classic that I feel every gal needs to have in her jewelry rotation…and soon it’ll hopefully be in mine!
