They don’t call it ‘Throwback Thursday‘ for nothing…in between watching ‘Best New Restaurant’ on Bravo and getting my camera cleared out for my weekend getaway I somehow ended up going through my entire iPhoto library and came upon this little ensemble…shot back in…drum roll please…July! Yes, July…see that’s my problem ladies and gents because I shoot new looks all of the time some outfits get left in the archives waiting to be discovered and finally this is my oldest outfit sitting in my photo library and it is seeing the light of day! This outfit is so old that my little sister shot this look (she retired from doing my photos shortly after…my brother has shot my photos ever since…keeping it the family ya know 😉 )This outfit is as simple as it gets…a simple LBD paired with bright and bold accessories…what else could a girl ask for? I am pretty sure I got this dress from Old Navy (I honestly can’t even find this dress in my closet…I looked for it while writing this post and I already lost it…hopefully to be seen again once the summer comes…maybe it’s just playing hide + seek haha!). I found similar options below from American Eagle + Athleta.
The right bling can truly dress up any outfit so this look included a few key pieces of statement jewelry…similar styles shoppable below <3
And we can’t forget…the shoes + bag…these shoes were a birthday gift to myself last year because come on try and tell me these aren’t ‘Carrie Bradshaw esq‘ 😉 LOVE these beauties…similar styles below along with my Michael Kors handbag. And this year’s birthday is bound to be the best yet…stay tuned for what I have planned by adding me on SnapChat ‘MissyOnMadison‘ <3
I seriously can’t wait to be in some warmer weather to rock a look like this again #SummerHurryUp #NoMoreSnow
With my Birthday trip to Disney just 9 days away I figured I may as well start mentally preparing in my head with a little Warm Weather WishList (because in my mind spring in NYC is actually right around the corner, right?). I can’t believe how soon stores start getting in pieces for seasons to come…in August Halloween stuff is put out, in October Holiday decorations are on display and here we are in January…with spring and summer wear ready for me to snag for an impromptu trip to Florida!
I loved putting this little collage together because spring and summer wear is my forte…if I could run around in wedges, dresses and floppy hats all day I would (if only NYC allowed that!)…so while I am far from a Photoshop pro (this probably took me an hour to do) I was so excited to share some pieces I am lusting after with you all!

TGIF! What a week it has been…the year has changed, the holiday season has ended and I’ve stocked up on so many sales and deals my closet is nearly about to explode (not kidding). One of the struggles that always happens once the holiday season comes to a close is how to recycle all of those great holiday pieces into every day ensembles and today’s look is the first of many posts written with that idea in mind 😉If you missed it, I rocked this shaggy pink coat (available on my Poshmark here) for my New Year’s Eve post along with a beaded skirt and swavorski crystal covered heels…festive for the ball drop of course! But today I dressed down this coat with a simple Topshop for Nordstrom camisole and Hue ‘Leatherette’ Leggings perfect for a Friday night out!One of these accessories has also gotten a lot of use during the holiday season, and now it will be a great going out bag for happy hour…this Michael Kors Python Clutch which I wore here for a different NYE post.I LOVE these nude suede open toe booties year round. They match with everything and nude is always a safe color for when you are unsure of what to wear for a night on the town. I found similar ones from ZooShoo here (for under $50).I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! I will be out shooting some more winter time looks (that’s if I decide to dress weather appropriate…it’s a toss up haha!) and prepping to get back to work in the Big Apple! Wish me luck 🙂| Click To Shop My Look |
Hello Lover…I’m having a Carrie Bradshaw moment today with this ‘Carrie-esq’ ‘J’adore’ look…if you are a Sex & The City fanatic like myself, you most likely remember that fabulous tulle skirt ensemble paired with a ‘J’adore Dior’ tee. While my tee may not be Dior, in my mind…I am Carrie. I borrowed this tulle skirt from my blogger gal pal Sarah…I saw it and right away envisioned Carrie aka SJP. I have always been a huge Sex & The City fanatic. I dream of being proposed to with a pair of Manolo’s and just having ‘a really big closet’…it may be a fantasy but hey a girl has to dream every now and again right? My clutch and shoes are both Michael Kors. I love the snakeskin print to add a little edge to this ultra girly look and of course I had to wear some pink bowed pumps to really make a statement and dress like Carrie. Unfortunately these beauties are no longer available but I found similar ones from Paris Hilton. My tee is far from Dior…it’s from Old Navy…so I am Carrie Bradshaw on a budget 😉 I also had to add a little bling with this pink and blue statement necklace! Now if you don’t mind, I’m off to plan some of my outfits for some weekend dress up 😉 Time for more outfit shoots and I am heading out to the vineyards Sunday to go grape stomping and make some wine…I don’t think Carrie would wear this to stomp grapes but hey who knows :p Shop My Look<3
Happy Friday Loves! I decided to share the spotlight with a special little someone today, my King Charles Cavalier…Charlie! I love this little guy, he will forever be my prince charming <3 If you have a dog you know the eternal and unconditional love you have for them, Charlie has truly become a family member and is the highlight of everyones’ day…he makes even a rainy day bright & sunny! So it was only suiting that Charlie modeled these fab Sunglass Warehouse sunnies that were gifted to me because he is my ray of sunshine and also, what dog doesn’t look cute in sunglasses…like come on? I want to kiss him now just looking at these photos <3 By the way, Charlie is quite the social butterfly…my little sis runs his Instagram, Facebook & Twitter…if your a fan of King Charles Cavaliers and want a daily smile, follow him!Nothing screams ‘Summer Time Fine’ like the perfect accessories. As you know, my obsession with neon is a little unhealthy, so this Michael Kors hot pink tote, Cambridge Satchel neon bag and my TJ Maxx ‘Maxxinista’ find of this Steve Madden neon satchel, have me ready for summer day trips and nights by the beach! Sunglass Warehouse has me fully stocked on sunnies that are not simply stylish but also affordable! Most of their sunglasses retail for under $20! Now that’s what I’m talking about 🙂 Stock up now just in time for those 4th of July BBQ’s & Beach Days!
