Happy Thursday Babes! This week has been weird…to be honest a short week after an extended holiday weekend always throws me off. All I have wanted to do is cuddle up in bed…with my brand new Buffy! Ok so I literally LOVE sleep…like a comfy bed is the most important thing to me no joke haha So when I saw Buffy’s promise that it is the most comfortable comforter you will ever own, you know I had to try it. Spoiler Alert…it is!
I was on the hunt for the best comforter after I moved and after trying out Buffy…I found it! Buffy’s comforters don’t harm animals like other comforter’s do through the gathering of the feathers process + the comforter instead of being made from cotton which can have a negative impact on the environment, it is made of silk-soft natural eucalyptus fibers which use 10x less water to cultivate than cotton.
The comforter itself is beyond comfy + I love how it has a cooling effect as opposed to standard cotton ones that make me overheat at night.
Want to try for yourself? You can actually do a free trial to test the Buffy in your home and then purchase or return depending on your thoughts! The comforter comes in various sizes + it only costs between $120-$190 – very fair price for the most comfortable comforter you will ever own…trust me!
Plus the packaging and accessories are so cute! This face mask…Resting Buffy Face? I mean how cute right?!
My Pajamas are from Shop The Mint (you can even get them monogrammed if you like)! Check them out here.
Are you ready to try the comfiest comforter ever?!
I am BEYOND excited about today’s post! I am revealing my gorgeous new office space I have been working so hard on. Since I work from home, having a space that inspires my creativity + allows for endless amounts of content creation was key for me. I knew I wanted a light + airy feel (to match my instagram aestheitc…duh – P.S. ICYMI I shared a whole post of how I edit my insta photos here) and I partnered with a few vendors who helped make my dream a reality. From this stunning pink velvet couch from DHP Furniture to the stunning gallery wall made possible from Framebridge to these fun furry pillows from Best Home Fashion to the classiest coffee table books from GiGi New York…everything I wanted came together to make the ultimate office space!
Let’s first start with my marble accent coffee table (an Amazon find) + these GiGi New York coffee table books. I was on the hunt for a great marble table + scored this one on Amazon for under $150! It is a great size + makes for the perfect flatlay background!
These coffee table books are amazing quality, bound in real leather + are the perfect accent decor elements to add to any space. I honestly want to collect them all! Best part? they are AFFORDABLE!
I am OBSESSED with this pink velvet couch from DHP Furniture! It is girly, fun, comfortable AND retails for under $400!!! Insane right? This couch anywhere else would be $1,000+ so I highly suggest heading to DHPFurniture.com because they have the styles you love for your home at the BEST (and I mean the best) pricing!
The white fuzzy stool was a Burlington find but since it isn’t on their site, I found a similar style available at Target below.
My gorgeous gallery walls were created with the help of Framebridge.com!
Honestly their site makes creating the perfect space easy. They provide step by step tutorials on how to plan out + create the gallery wall of your dreams and when it comes to framing all you do is select the sizing of your piece, pick your preferred frame + Framebridge does the rest! They send you packaging to ship your pieces to them in so this way they handle the framing…and in just a couple of weeks you receive your final framed pieces ready for hanging!
It is that simple! Seriously made creating the ultimate office space that much easier.
This tutorial from them is what I relied on when it came to designing + hanging my pieces!
My shoe + bag display is one of my favorite parts about my office space. Since I was at my last apartment, I desperately wanted a gorgeous space to show off the bags + shoes I have worked so hard to collect over the years. ICYMI – I am a major bag addict. I bought my first Dior bag at 14 with money I earned scooping popcorn at my local movie theater + I never let up on my bag obsession since. Every bag purchase was a milestone. Like my Chanel – my first Chanel, purchased in Paris, my first ever trip out of the country + to the city of love (ugh amazing moment) or my white Gucci soho tote (featured in yesterday’s blog post) that I purchased on Rodeo Drive my first week in LA…every bag has a story + displaying them is like a trip down memory lane every day.
I found the perfect shelves on the cheap from Walmart (hey I love to mix high + low…save my money for bags hehe :p). They retail for under $30 + come in various sizes + colors available daily.
Temps are heating up in LA and that means…yes you guessed it, dress time! I normally live in dresses year round, but now I live in them even more so because of the warm weather. I am not one to wear sleeveless dresses without covering my arms (I guess my arms are an area I typically like to cover) but wearing a denim jacket in warm temps is not going to happen…so my solution? Styling it on your shoulders! Ok, to be honest I have seen this trend with blazers, moto jackets + more for years but felt I couldn’t pull it off…till I actually tried. Side note: Never be afraid to step outside your comfort zone when it comes to fashion, amazing things can happen that ultimately shape your personal style!
My dress is from one of my favorite online boutiques, Shop The Mint and it’s currently sold out but I linked to similar styles below (plus usually you can add items from their website to a ‘wishlist‘ and they will come back on the site for purchase relatively soon)!
My denim jacket is from Old Navy + currently On SALE! Who doesn’t love a good sale?! This jacket has lasted me years + is honestly a staple every gal should have in their closet! Dress it up or down, it is perfect for any occasion.

Summer lovin’ happened so fast…summer rummin’ let’s make those drinks last! Hehe :p (like what I did there?) Nothing makes me happier than enjoying delicious drinks with the company of friends and family. My boyfriend + I recently moved into a new place and while planning our housewarming party, we wanted to think about a fun way to set up a drink station for our guests to enjoy!
Let’s face it, we would all love to be on a permanent vacation. Hanging by the pool, going up to the tiki bar for your favorite Bacardi & Coca Cola drink, but since we can’t always be on vacation, why not make your drink station feel like vacation?!
Bacardi + Coke is a classic drink but displaying it doesn’t have to be boring! One of the first things I do when I am having guests over is plan out the experience they will have. A lot of time is spent in the kitchen – grabbing food, mixing drinks etc., so even if you are serving a classic cocktail, add a twist when it comes to decor.
After planning the experience in my head, I begin shopping. I actually won these fun lights (palm tree + pineapple) at an arcade LOL (I am a bit of a kid at heart). The Coca-Cola glasses were a Dollar Store find + the Coca-Cola vintage straw caddy was a gift my dad got me at the Grand Canyon when we road tripped cross country for my move from NY to LA! #Memories
Isn’t it fun when decor has meaning as well as tons of appeal?!
After decorating the space, it’s time to stock up on your bar essentials – mine? Bacardi Superior Rum + Coke Mini Cans! I love the Coke Mini Cans because they are cute + fun to share with one another AND easy to pour as opposed to the larger bottles (less mess to clean up haha). I feel they also add a little something extra to your bar set up! Make sure you chill them prior to guests arriving, or add a few ice cubes as you prepare each drink.
I start out by pouring 1.5 oz. of Bacardi Superior Rum followed by a Coke Mini Can and voila…you have the perfect Rum + Coke ratio. Sometimes all you need is that classic!
I hope you are all getting some much needed rest + relaxation (and maybe a little sun depending where you are)! I am still in a vacay state-of-mind so I wanted to share a fun summer getaway inspired look to warm things up (it was actually pretty damn cold in LA yesterday + it made me desperately want to fly back to Florida haha). The best part about vacations (other than the fact you are on vacation) is all of the cute tropical inspired looks you can create.
I for one was all about straw accessories while away + still am…they are super cute + easy to style on vacation without worrying about getting them dirty with sand etc. Check out the full look below ♥
I lived in this chambray dress while in Florida. It’s super comfy + chambray is great for warm climates + matches with everything while away.
I linked to some of my favorite chambray dress options below!
As for my accessories – straw all the way! This floppy hat + tote have been my obsession…how can they not be? You look at them + just think vacation!
My wedges are an older style from Tory Burch (no longer available) but I linked to some similar new styles for the season below.
