Happy Friday Ya’ll! (yup I am pretending to be Southern for the day jk…just really wanted to say ya’ll haha)! I am making things hot this Friday with this hot pink button down that I actually shot back with my brother back on Long Island before I moved to big, bad LA (kidding it isn’t big + bad but it just sounded better haha) As you all know there is nothing I love more than some bright neon color, pair it with a simple pair of white shorts and I am even happier! Going through these photos made me A) Miss my little bro / Long Island + B) Made me happy because in LA, I can dress like this year round! Ahh <3
I can’t believe it is already Back To School season! I may have been out of school for a few years now, but one of the most exciting parts of starting a new school year was the Back To School shopping and making a great first impression. The first day whether it be for a new job or for a new college semester requires looking tip-top and truly shining (first impressions are in fact everything right?)
Well to this sentiment, I am comparing the prepping for Back To School jitters to my first day at my new job here in LA. And this everyone is my happy place…Rodeo Drive…California’s version of 5th avenue with a lot less crowding and a beautiful temperature year round (I guess it’s safe to say I have yet to miss NYC huh? :p) I actually shot this before I was even fully living in LA. My little brother and I ventured around Rodeo one morning during our vacation a few weeks ago and I kinda forced him to shoot this outfit because yes…I wasn’t wearing ‘designer‘ on Rodeo but hey I think it still looked pretty damn cute!

I got a special little package the other day from Lysse and I couldn’t wait to style this top…yes ladies and gents this ‘white dress’ is actually the Lysse Cold Shoulder Top with Inner Control Tank. I decided to be adventurous and order it in a larger size so I can rock it as a dress AND as a top…versatility…that’s the best thing to incorporate into your closet 🙂 My necklace is from Sparkle Republic Jewelry and I’d say it definitely sparkles 😉 One of the things I love about blogging? Getting to try out new brands and showcase them on my site! My shoes are from…drum roll please…Payless! I love nude strappy sandals! They are gorgeous for every occasion and nude elongates your legs! My neon satchel is from Steve Madden, while it’s no longer available, I found a similar one from Michael Kors! Sorry but I love my mirrored aviators…definitely wearing them year round and I’m convinced I look bad a** with them 😉 Or at least I’d like to think so!
