Orange Is The New Black…

Happy Friday & Happy Halloween Loves! In honor of our favorite sweet trick or treat holiday, I had to rock the traditional orange and black 😉 To be even more cliche, I had to head over to the pumpkin patch for some fall festivities and maybe to find the perfect pumpkin to make a Jack-O-Lantern out of! Let’s break down the look…my black faux fur vest is from Karen Kane but I found a similar one from Express here. I feel every gal needs a simple black faux fur vest for fall…dress it up, dress it down…either way you will stay nice and cozy.These black distressed jeans are not only comfortable but once again can be worn for almost ANY occasion…Flying Monkey makes a great pair here. Had to also rock the orange blouse again…twice in one week oh my…see how I styled it earlier in the week here.I love my Rebecca Minkoff mini mac bag…I have it in a few different colors and I’m pretty sure it will be worn tonight for whatever the Halloween night may bring! Black suede boots are always a necessity for fall. Happy Monday Loves! What a weekend! I went grape stomping for the first time ever…inspired by ‘I Love Lucy’ ;), did some fun outfit shoots with new fall looks and began prepping for the Posh Party on Poshmark I will be hosting tomorrow (two of the pieces I’m wearing in today’s post are actually for sale on Poshmark!) My top is an oldie but a goodie from the Prabal Gurung for Target collab a year ago…what can I say I love the fun print and colors for fall! I also had to add my mirrored aviators because in my mind they will never get old. My black distressed skinny jeans are from Pink Basis {item #1 listed on Posh 😉 } I love these jeans because of the distressed design which is so great for fall…they just happened to be a little too long on me…I’m a shortie at 5’4! Nothing brings out the color of this shirt better than a red bag…especially from my favorite handbag designer Rebecca Minkoff. I love this red ‘Mini Mac’ bag for nights out or day trips! One of my favorite shots from today’s look…I have moments where I feel sexy 😉 Isn’t that the whole point of fashion? To feel comfortable and confident in your own skin? Happy Thursday Honey Bees…somewhat appropriate for today’s post entitled ‘Buzz Buzz’. As if it weren’t already obvious, I’m rocking some black & yellow today and other than reminding me of the lyrics ‘black & yellow, black & yellow, black & yellow’ from Wiz Khalifa (somewhat rap obsessed), this look reminded me of a honey bee 😉 Little Fun Fact…Melissa in Greek apparently means Honey Bee, got to love when your parents buy you little poems and sayings as a child telling you all about yourself before you even know who you truly are! Ok, so this shot is my all time favorite! I looked and thought wow I look confident and sexy…while I try to have that attitude everyday, sometimes it doesn’t always happen, but in today’s post it definitely shined through, don’t you think? My bright yellow jeggings are from Hue. I love their bottoms because they flatter every figure…stretch is always a must for me when it comes to find the perfect pant, you want them to hug all the right places…work it at all times. My black silk top with a sexy little cut out in the middle is from ASOS. I’m definitely not adventurous enough to wear it without a black bandeau underneath, but I think it still does the trick. Back to my Rebecca Minkoff obsession. Another fun fact…I own the ‘Mini Mac Bag‘ in 4 different colors and I am still always tempted to buy more. It is a great going out bag; whether it’s a day trip or just a girls night, it has enough room for beauty essentials, your keys, wallet and anything else a gal may need. These fab black lace up heels are from Target! I love when designers make ‘Look For Less’ collections with affordable stores and these beauties are from the Prabal Gurung for Target collaboration a year or so ago.Shop My Look Below<3
