But first…~~coffee~~ (~~scratch~~ that…to be quite honest I start each and every day with a Venti iced green tea from Starbucks…unsweetened of course…typical white girl…~~oops~~) but I mean coffee as in ‘Coffee Shop‘, the great brand who makes this stylish leopard coat I am wearing today! This past week has been the true beginning of winter weather. Snow on the ground, a chill in the air and wind that practically swept me right off my feet…this weather calls for a warm, cozy and fashionable coat…in comes Coffee Shop.

This brand reached out to me right before the Holiday Season and I couldn’t wait to work with them. They make everything from Moto Jackets, to Pea Coats, to Wool Coats and Bomber Jackets…they are now my one stop shop for unique and trendy coats that won’t break the bank (which is always in style in my book!)

And call me crazy but when I think ‘leopard‘ I think sexy and with sexy in winter comes…over the knee boots…aka these black suede over the knee boots that I scored for under $30 (here)…yes ladies you heard me under $30 at Target…Seriously this was one of my most exciting buys within the past few weeks! So while I am not a fan of the cold temperatures I must admitt it was kinda fun to have a little white snow on the ground while shooting looks over the weekend. And yes…I was freezing while shooting each and every outfit…at one point my poor brother’s hands turned pink from holding the camera out in the cold…but nonetheless new outfits were shot, and Missy is still able to share her stylish journey…no matter what the weather outside may be!| Click To Shop My Look |

From Holiday to Every Day…

TGIF! What a week it has been…the year has changed, the holiday season has ended and I’ve stocked up on so many sales and deals my closet is nearly about to explode (not ~~kidding~~). One of the struggles that always happens once the holiday season comes to a close is how to recycle all of those great holiday pieces into every day ensembles and today’s look is the first of many posts written with that idea in mind 😉If you missed it, I rocked this shaggy pink coat (available on my Poshmark here) for my New Year’s Eve post along with a beaded skirt and swavorski crystal covered heels…festive for the ball drop of course! But today I dressed down this coat with a simple Topshop for Nordstrom camisole and Hue ‘Leatherette’ Leggings perfect for a Friday night out!One of these accessories has also gotten a lot of use during the holiday season, and now it will be a great going out bag for happy hour…this Michael Kors Python Clutch which I wore here for a different NYE post.I LOVE these nude suede open toe booties year round. They match with everything and nude is always a safe color for when you are ~~unsure~~ of what to wear for a night on the town. I found similar ones from ZooShoo here (for under $50).I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! I will be out shooting some more winter time looks (that’s if I decide to dress weather appropriate…it’s a toss up haha!) and prepping to get back to work in the Big Apple! LBD For NYE…

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! Mine was spent relaxing with my family, stuffing my face with delicious treats and of course…a trip to the movies (my brother and I saw ‘Big Eyes’ with the fabulous Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz…I fell in lone with Waltz’s acting after his hilarious role in ‘Inglorious Bastards’). The holiday season isn’t over just yet (I know we got the big Christmas spectacular out of the way) but now it’s time to focus on…you guessed it New Year’s and most importantly what to wear for NYE 2014!I have a few outfit ideas for the big night (don’t worry I will be sharing all of them with you amongst the next few days!) but this ‘all black’ LBD moment is a favorite of mine because it can be worn well past New Year’s Eve and is classy for any occasion (can you say Valentine’s Day date night outfit?!).I love wear faux fur in the winter and especially for the holiday season…added warmth + a chic look…nothing beats that! This vest is from Karen Kane but I found two similar options here + here (both for under $50!!)My LBD was purchased at Lord & Taylor a year ago but I found an identical version from Michael Kors on sale now at Macy’s (perfect way to spend that Christmas gift card Santa brought ya!). The fit and flare style is simple and looks great on any figure…my favorite part about this dress is the embellished collar which makes such a statement a necklace isn’t even required (although I did add a simple tear drop necklace here)Speaking of making a statement…this Louis Vuitton clutch is sure to do the trick! It’s actually considered a ‘toiletry pouch’ but I have been seeing women everywhere rocking it as a nice ‘going out’ clutch…just what NYE requires! White manicures are so chic in my opinion…every time I get one I get countless compliments and I feel it also brings more attention to the bling! On NYE I always want to shine like a star so these star bangles do the trick here, here + here. Amethyst is always my go to gemstone (it is my birthstone) so this ring makes me feel like I am engaged (dream engagement ring shape…just saying if one of you want to propose! JK) I had to go black with my shoes as well…I love these black patent leather peep toe pumps from Enzo Angiolini…they remind me of Christian Louboutins except for the price tag 😉 Hey it may have been Christmas but Santa didn’t leave any red bottoms under the tree just yet :p Not to mention, I don’t think any look is sexier on a gal than an ‘All Black’ ensemble…sometimes simplicity is key…especially for Holiday dressing 😉 | Click To Shop My NYE Look |

Leopard Lady…

Happy Tuesday Lovers! So I am freaking out because today I am going to meet one of my biggest inspirations and the only man who can make me laugh and smile on a daily basis…Andy Cohen! He is signing and promoting his newest book ‘The Andy Cohen Diaries’ at a local book store near me…I have butterflies and can’t wait to be a total fan girl and snap a picture with him for insta…hey if it isn’t on insta it didn’t really happen right? haha I digress…I had no idea he was heading to the Island until I was talking to my brother and I said the word ‘Mazel’ which my mom who was listening to our conversation right away responded with…speaking of mazel, Andy Cohen will be here tomorrow…love how my whole family is familiar with the WWHL logo 🙂While I still haven’t chosen what I am going to wear tonight to meet the fabulous Andy himself, I have put together a little leopard look for ya’ll today. Everytime I wear leopard I feel fierce…my animal instincts come out but don’t worry I always act like a lady…well sometimes…oops.I scored this faux fur leopard vest on clearance from Karen Kane at Lord & Taylor…while it was purchased last year, I found a similar one for under $30 at Forever 21 here. Whenever I wear animal print I like to keep the rest of the look neutral like I did here with my black dolman sleeve top (here) and my black pleated skirt (here).My black strappy sandals are the ‘Lavania’ sandal from Coach (available here) or you can shop them on my Poshmark closet here. Although sandals are traditionally for summer, I like to transition them into the fall as well (as long as the weather permits).So ok maybe I lied about wearing more than one animal print…I paired this leopard look with this Michael Kors python clutch…it’s subtle, chic and reminds me of a Stella McCartney bag (always looking for an affordable version of luxury items). My perfect fall bling? A signature black leather bracelet, like this one from Vince Camuto and a great ‘nailed it’ bracelet available for under $5 here! (Yes…under $5 people and it’s even blinged out!)I’m contemplating a side pony with a touch of leopard tonight for Andy…what do you guys think (anyone who loves Andy Cohen and WWHL as well as me knows how much Andy loves a gal with a side ponytail!)| Click To Shop My Look |
