Snowy Days…

I’ve just about had it with all of this snow…at this point the only thing I am finding it to be good for is to cast a nice white backdrop for my outfit photos (and even then it’s not necessarily the best to shoot in…snow + suede ~~do not~~ mix #oops). Although I am ~~not~~ feeling these snowy vibes, I am feeling this all black outfit (with a slight pop of color of course) so to distract myself from the frigid weather outside, I am attempting to stay warm and cozy in oversized sweats while writing this (in case you didn’t know, I write my posts the night before they are published #themoreyouknow).For once I am dressed weather appropriate…I have my winter accessories + shoes in tow to keep me warm, toasty and stylish!

A Throwback To Warmer Weather…

They don’t call it ‘Throwback Thursday‘ for nothing…in between watching ‘Best New Restaurant’ on Bravo and getting my camera cleared out for my weekend getaway I somehow ended up going through my entire iPhoto library and came upon this little ensemble…shot back in…drum roll please…July! Yes, July…see that’s my problem ladies and gents because I shoot new looks all of the time some outfits get left in the archives waiting to be discovered and finally this is my ~~oldest~~ outfit sitting in my photo library and it is seeing the light of day! This outfit is so old that my little sister shot this look (she ~~retired~~ from doing my photos shortly after…my brother has shot my photos ever since…keeping it the family ya know 😉 )This outfit is as simple as it gets…a simple LBD paired with bright and bold accessories…what else could a girl ask for? I am pretty sure I got this dress from Old Navy (I honestly can’t even find this dress in my closet…I looked for it while writing this post and I already ~~lost~~ it…hopefully to be seen again once the summer comes…maybe it’s just playing hide + seek haha!). But First…Coffee

But first…~~coffee~~ (~~scratch~~ that…to be quite honest I start each and every day with a Venti iced green tea from Starbucks…unsweetened of course…typical white girl…~~oops~~) but I mean coffee as in ‘Coffee Shop‘, the great brand who makes this stylish leopard coat I am wearing today! This past week has been the true beginning of winter weather. Snow on the ground, a chill in the air and wind that practically swept me right off my feet…this weather calls for a warm, cozy and fashionable coat…in comes Coffee Shop.

This brand reached out to me right before the Holiday Season and I couldn’t wait to work with them. They make everything from Moto Jackets, to Pea Coats, to Wool Coats and Bomber Jackets…they are now my one stop shop for unique and trendy coats that won’t break the bank (which is always in style in my book!)

So while I am not a fan of the cold temperatures I must admitt it was kinda fun to have a little white snow on the ground while shooting looks over the weekend. And yes…I was freezing while shooting each and every outfit…at one point my poor brother’s hands turned pink from holding the camera out in the cold…but nonetheless new outfits were shot, and Missy is still able to share her stylish journey…no matter what the weather outside may be!| Click To Shop My Look |
