Bye Bye 2016 ? 2017 is just hours away…we had a crazy year! From the world of politics to the fashion industry to entertainment, 2016 has came + went with a whirlwind of happenings…but one thing that has been steadfast throughout is my love of fashion + mixing & matching high end with low end to create chic looks for anytime wear! No matter what happens in the world, I will sure as h*ll will try to look stylish while handling it haha 😉

This year has been filled with some of my favorite looks + moments. I have been blogging for a few years now, but this year I feel like I have truly come into my own. I have found my aesthetic when it comes to photography, style + writing AND I have really found my stride when it comes to my career. No matter how many times life has tried to knock me down, I have gotten back up with grace + plenty of style ♥ 2016 has been the year of becoming a strong, independent woman and I couldn’t be happier with where I am in life than I am right now.

Now to recap some of my favorite blog moments (and a few flashbacks) from 2016! Happy Monday Ya’ll! ♥ I know I am not southern, but I kinda feel like if I were to live in the South I would be a total ‘Southern Belle‘ + I would be saying ‘ya’ll’ a lot…haha :p Anyways, time to get back to the everyday rise + grind after a relaxing Thanksgiving Day Weekend! ICYMI – today is CYBER MONDAY + that means some of the best online shopping deals (luckily I rounded up my picks the other day for Black Friday + a lot of the sales are similar for today as well)!

One site that is having killer deals today is Zaful.com…where I got this color block maxi dress from (perfect for fall, winter or year round depending how you style it). I seriously LOVE this dress + even though it is lightweight, I layered my favorite faux leather moto jacket over it to give it an edgy look making it perfect for work or play 🙂

Happy Humpday ♥ I am getting back into the swing of things when it comes to the blog (seriously life gets so hectic sometimes that it makes it impossible to keep with my normal routine :p but I am back at it)! I honestly can’t believe that Thanksgiving is next week! It feels like it just creeped up on us all of a sudden…where has this year gone?!

Now while I will be sharing some cozy + dressy Thanksgiving looks later on this week + next week, today’s outfit is perfect for Thanksgiving Eve…you know the night before Thanksgiving where you head out with your friends + have plenty of laughs before hanging with your family the following day, because hey…you got to have some fun stories to share at the dining room table right? 😉 Whether it’s just dinner with friends, a drink at the bar or a night of dancing, a simple olive dress like this one paired with lace up heels is the ideal go-to (just layer a cardigan, a blazer or even a moto jacket depending where you are off to)!

I honestly can’t remember where I got this dress but I found two similar options below (both under $25 – talk about a steal for the holidays)! You can even repurpose this dress for Christmas time by adding some stockings, boots + a sweater. I love when pieces are so versatile!

Happy Fri – Y A Y! I am excited to be teaming up with one of my favorite online shops ‘All For Color‘ to share how I incorporate color into my fall wardrobe! Any of you that have been following me for a little bit have seen that I love a good Pop Of Color, so collaborating with All For Color made perfect sense for me. Whether you love a bold print, a bright hue or even just a subtle hint of color, adding a little something-something really ups your fall style!

I am LOVING this cozy blue cardigan from All For Color. It’s the perfect sweater to layer over a dress, a simple cami + jeans (like I did here) or honestly anything. What I think is great about this piece is that it makes it easy to add color to your fall look without overdoing it + feeling like summer :p

I opted for a casual fall look so I styled the cardigan with this blush colored cami from Target (on sale now for under $7). Once again, I chose to wear white after Labor Day with these white skinny jeans from Old Navy. I love their fit + how they are such good quality without the expensive price tag.

Another Pop Of Color I added to this look was these pink colored aviators. These are a ‘must-have‘ to add to your rotation!

My ankle boots are from Sugar Brand + they are super comfy, making them ideal for running errands, weekend adventures or just about anything. I am linking to two similar pairs from Sugar Brand below.

My Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag has been my trustee go-to ever since high school. It was my first of many Louis bags to come haha :p I may have a slight addiction at this point…oops!

Happy Monday everyone! I am super drained from such a fun weekend in Orlando with my dad + now I am off to San Francisco for two days…I am starting to feel like I am living out of a suitcase :p Fun fact, I am writing this post as I am stuck on the plane at the Orlando airport waiting to take off to LA…It’s already been over an hour and even a sleeping aid wasn’t able to get me to snooze after this major delay (seriously….delays are the w o r s t)!

Other than me sitting here complaining about my flight, let’s look on the bright side…I got to see my dad, visit Minion Mayhem at Universal + see Amy Schumer and Aziz Ansari this weekend…all in all the weekend was a win (~~minus~~ this flight that is haha).

This outfit is an oldie but a goodie. It was actually shot by my brother last fall (I found it in the archives) and figured let me share it with you all because I mean it’s been waiting enough don’t ya think haha My entire outfit was purchased from various stores a year ago, B U T I found plenty of similar items below!

This beige faux fur vest is perfect for fall and it is super warm + cozy (this similar style at Bloomingdales is even on sale with coupons). My striped tee is a basic piece every fashionista needs because it transitions season to season + can be dressed up or down. My signature go-to jean (skinny dark wash) are also a fall must-have in my book!
