Happy Fri-Yay Everyone! And…it’s Wednesday! The week is at it’s halfway mark and I couldn’t be happier! With this gorgeous spring weather all I want to do is be outside enjoying the sunny vibes so that’s exactly what I did this past weekend…and it just so happened to double as an opportune time to take photos…what can I say I tried to kill two birds with one stone :p

I am still having the struggle of transitioning pieces I loved during the winter into my spring wardrobe, so today’s look is a great way to still wear some of your winter sweaters in warmer temperatures (within reason of course). One way? With cropped skinnies and some bright sunnies and sexy sandals! Nothing transitions pieces like some perfect accessories and footwear right? 😉

The sun is shining, flowers are blooming and i can finally get back by the water to share some spring style. There is nothing I love more than being by the beach, the water and enjoying nice weather…which is exactly what I did all weekend. I did some spring shopping (did a little damage during the Lord & Taylor ‘Friends + Family Sale’ and got some preppy pieces from J.Crew…I can’t believe I haven’t shopped there more often) And I stocked up on new tech accessories for my car and my new iPhone which is coming in the mail tomorrow…can’t wait! I hear the camera quality on the 6 blows the 5 out of the water so I can’t wait to find out!

One of the other things I did this weekend was get outside and head to the beach to shoot this look. I have a thing for bomber jackets…I styled bomber jackets two different ways on the blog so far (here + here) and now here is one more…with a chic chiffon dress perfect for a spring date night or to go from the office to happy hour!

And the moment we have all been waiting for…it’s Friday! I am excited to relax this weekend and try to get better from being sick the past two days (~~ugh~~ I am the worst sick patient ever). I have been so out of it the past two days and can’t wait to really just take a moment to catch up on e-mails and also hopefully see some of my friends this weekend…after commuting in during the week for work usually on the weekends I just crash and try to ~~avoid~~ going out but with an outfit this cute…I think I may have to have a girl’s night…what do ya think? 😉
