    One thing I love about working in LA, is that work wear style is super casual…so lace up flats and animal print = Y E S! I love a LBD like this one because it can be dressed up or down…so for a casual work day, I wear a denim jacket or cardigan with it and for dinner I wear a blazer over it.

    Ā C o a c h e l l a Time! With Coachella just days away, I am getting into the whole ‘desert‘ vibes kinda feeling with comfy, casual looks like this one. Nothing makes me happier than wearing comfy outfits where I can eat 10 pounds worth of food without it showing (haha jk :p) but for realz…over-flowing dresses like this one are the b e s t!

    When you head to Coachella, it’s all about comfort…I scored these gladiator block sandals from Old Navy on clearance…yes ladies and gents…Old Navy! I have had a ton of people ask me where these are from and when I say Old Navy, the look of shock on their face is priceless…yes, crazy I know! Best purchase I have made there since my favorite white jeans!

    My backpack (also perfect for Coachella) is from Vera Bradley and it is the best! Great quality leather, roomy and honestly it’s a mix of high fashion and functionality! šŸ™‚

    The Getty Museum is absolutely gorgeous! While I didn’t actually check out the museum (because come on…let’s be honest…we were there just to snap photos haha typical bloggers for ya). The grounds and buildings are stunning.     I will always prefer white jeans to blue jeans. Nothing (in my opinion) is classier than a chic pair of white skinny jeans paired with a white blouse (like this cold shoulder one). I even had to pair white pumps for an ‘all white look‘…but broke things up with this black faux fur vest!

    Sunshine + Clear Skies…perks of Winter in LA! I have gotten so accustomed to LA life that I can’t even imagine moving back to NY and dealing with the cold temps (especially after seeing all of my friends’ Facebook status talking about how many layers they need to wear just to step out the door…not to mention the blizzard warnings, road closures and the un-glamorous digging your car out of the snow photos).     Even in NY I was obsessed with leather leggings…especially these ones from HUE! They are sexy, comfortable and keep me just the right amount of warm for those chilly days in LA (which are rare)!

    I layered a simple chiffon camisole along with a tan kimono (similar)…I am hoping on the kimono trend what can I say šŸ˜‰

    So time to be honest…swimwear has beenĀ my least favorite thing to shop for…why? Because nothing truly tests your confidence like slipping in to a bikini or one piece and wanting to look ‘sexy‘, ‘fit‘ and ‘beautiful‘. Especially in today’s day and age, it’s really tough to feel like a ‘million bucks‘ with models, celebrities and social media stars (cough cough Jen Selter) looking like they spend their entire livesĀ at the gym…drinking Kale smoothies and doing the latestĀ exerciseĀ routine to take over the country. Well truth time…that’s not me, nor will it ever be me. I work out because I want to binge eat movie theater popcorn at least once a week…I hate Kale and I am A OK with jogging on the treadmill (I prefer to spend my money on shoes as opposed to the latest workout craze :p)!

    My personal body issues have followed me ever since I was pre-teen. I was teased, bullied and always made to dream of having that ‘picture perfect’ figure.
