Red…White + a little F R I N G E! Those are the vibes I am feeling for the upcoming Labor Day Weekend! Other than all of the great sales (which I will be sharing my favorites from of course – stay tuned :p), I love how Labor Day weekend is the last time to really stand out in your summer time favorites (although, knowing me I will still be wearing my summer favs well into fall haha). I figured prepping for the weekend is the perfect time to show my patriotic side once again! I am kinda in an ‘I Love America‘ state of mind after seeing Kid Rock over the weekend + his amazing tribute to working class America…all of the soldiers, marines and more who fought + continue to fight each and everyday to make sure we are ‘Born Free‘! ICYMI, I am a HUGE Kid Rock fan and was in love at his concert Saturday night…I was supposed to see him 4th of July weekend back in NY (before I knew I was moving) but then I moved here to LA a month before the concert + missed going 🙁 So seeing him Saturday literally made my summer <3 Anyways…on a side note, I should probably get to breaking down this amazing outfit which is fully stocked on color + feminine details…just what I like! My blue pleated high low skirt is from LoveShoppingMiami.com whose website makes me instantly happy because it is filled with fun colors, prints + styles fit for any season! I paired it with a simple white crop top because I mean come on, doesn’t the skirt just speak for itself?

My fav part of this outfit is of course are these red fringe heels from AMI Clubwear…they are instantly becoming my go-to shoe for a night out because the fun fringe detail and the red hue can really spice up any look 😉 I guess you can say they are red hot haha!

Accessories I kept simple as well and went for a metallic theme…got to love a little glitz. I decided to give this silver Michael Kors watch a little love since I haven’t worn it in such a long time along with this metallic silver clutch from Carolinna Espinosa (similar styles here + here).

And it wouldn’t be a summer outfit without my mirrored Ray Ban sunnies right? hehe I’ve seriously worn these All Summer Long (like my Kid Rock reference sprinkled in there haha)

White On Labor Day…

Happy Labor Day Loves! While the old saying goes ‘No White After Labor Day’, there was never a saying about not wearing white ON Labor Day 😉 Who am I kidding, I don’t follow the rules…I wear white year round, but this gorgeous white eyelet dress is definitely a summer piece, especially a summer celebration dress! These photos were actually shot over a month and a half ago…any of my bloggers out there shoot things and totally forget about them? Well that was the case with this fab look! My white eyelet dress is actually from 3 years ago…my mom scored it on clearance at Macy’s. I must say white eyelet dresses are so classy and chic, I automatically think Sunday brunch or walking on the beach…so I had to shoot this on the Nautical Mile on Freeport, LI…a strip of bars, shops and restaurants right on the water 🙂My heels are from the Kate Hudson for Ann Taylor collection. I got them for $9…yes $9 a year ago! Don’t worry I found similar strappy cork heels from Aldo at 6pm.com 🙂 My bag…Rebecca Minkoff duh! The ‘Affair’ bag is my go to for absolutely everything! On a side note, my orange nail polish…one of my favorite summer shades…is it bad that I want to rock neon orange year round? oops! Still not loosing the mirrored aviators…deal with it 😉 I just love them! TGIF! I’m excited for the Labor Day weekend, but I’m also sad that summer is coming to an end (don’t worry, my summer looks will be transitioning to fall…what can I say, I love showing some skin!). I love this chambray look for a laid back and relaxing weekend filled with trips to the beach, BBQs and of course…shopping the fabulous Labor Day Weekend sales (I’ll be sharing my shopping list tomorrow!)
