And I will be your main squeeze….Happy Friday! For all of you that are a little lost as to where the title of this post came from (along with the first line of this post haha) well it is from a song that instantly got stuck in my head when I started searching for similar ‘lime moto jackets’ in google…Shwayze’s ‘Corona + Lime’…a summer hit circa 2009 (hey maybe my brother ‘Pop Culture Died in 2009‘ is right…the best stuff was from 2009 or earlier :p BTW these photos are a little flashback to Long Island days with my little bro…he shot these <3) Anyways, this lime look had me signing that song all night long while writing this post…especially the part where they sing ‘If you are looking for love put your hands up‘…here’s a secret for ya…my hand it raised 😉
Happy Tuesday Lovers! Ok I know it’s fall and that usually means sweaters, scarves, coats and tons of layers but maybe for just this once (or maybe a few times more to come) I want to go against the grain and go back to my old time favs…neon, open toe sandals, graphic tees and light wash jeans! Did I mention how much I dislike the cold weather? Well I must say for being born and raised in New York, it hasn’t made me any better at dealing with the temperature drop, dark skies or bitter cold…and I am truly contemplating a move to a warmer climate (still thinking about whether this is my impulse reaction to the beginning of winter in NYC or if it is a true feeling I should jump on….guess we will have to wait and see). Now to be completely honest this light weight neon moto jacket from Karen Kane (simialr available at Last Call Neiman Marcus here) doesn’t truly keep me warm…but it makes one hell of statement 😉 Statement necklace, statement jacket…what more can a gal ask for! This moto jacket was the perfect piece to layer over a basic graphic tee like this ‘Holy Chic‘ one from Old Navy (unfortunately it is no longer available but my love Rebecca Minkoff makes one here).I love a great fitting light wash jean…especially when I cuff them over like I did in this post. I know light wash is traditionally for spring or summer, but I am a firm believer that these jeans can be transitioned into fall with boots or chic pumps for any occasion. I found a great pair of light wash jeans from Nordstrom on SALEhere. Now for the shoes and bag…all that matters right? 😉I love this Rebecca Minkoff ‘Affair Bag’ because it is a unique style that they no longer make. Yes, I have the black one which is pretty common, but when I spotted this tan bag with the neon trim I instantly fell in love…any hint of neon makes me smile 🙂My nude ankle strap heels are reminiscent of the Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ Sandal…except the version I am wearing is a quarter of the price 😉 Hey I love a great ‘Look For Less’…what fashionista doesn’t!| *Click To Shop This Post* |
Happy Friday Loves…or should I say happy feisty Friday! I’m feeling a little feisty today with my mix of leopard print and faux leather in this outfit post. I always associate moto jackets, faux leather and leopard print for fall…mix them all together are voila…today’s look is born!I wanted to make your Friday a little sweeter with a friendly reminder that you can still enter to win a piece from the Dora Landa NY collection (including this fabulous leopard print dress I am wearing here)…who doesn’t love the chance to win a gorgeous piece of clothing (that normally retails for around $200!) I know I sure do 🙂I decided to take this cute little dress and make it a bit edgy by adding a moto jacket (this one is from Karen Kane but I found a similar one from Blank NYC here). Instead of opting for heels…time to add a chic little bootie like this Nine West one here. I feel like this look is a mix of biker chic and girly girl…the best kind of looks in my opinion. My brown envelope clutch is from SuSu Handbags and is definitely unique and a must have for fall (shop it on Poshmark here). It’s an easy everyday clutch to hold your keys, wallet and lip gloss or you can dress it up with jeans, a blazer and pumps for a fun night out.I loved this shot with a few little roses (perfect for Melissa Rose…get it haha my middle name is Rose…a little fun fact about me!)| Click To Shop My Look & Enter The Dora Landa NY Giveaway HERE |
