A Visit To Kendra Scott…

Happy Tuesday Loves! As you know, I have a slight obsession with bright ‘pops of color’, so it appears that in terms of jewelry, I have met my match…Kendra Scott! After seeing their fabulous set up and scoring this gorgeous druszy ring at the Reward Style party, I decided to stop by their showroom to check out all they have to offer!

I’m loving all the fab druszy jewels they have! They are so unique and if you ask me are a little ‘edgy’!

Their gold cuffs are great for fall…wear one to make a statement at the office!

Kendra Scott isn’t just known for great jewels, but also for their jewelry / cosmetic / travel pouches as well. The zipper is 14k plated gold and they are the cutest accessory!

I LOVE the Kendra Scott delicate bangles and rings for Spring 2015! You can stack them or wear them alone. Easy, chic and a hint of color…what else does a gal need? The pieces below are similar and currently available.

This is their winter collection / 70’s inspired disco vibe collection. The purple earrings in the middle kind of remind me of a disco ball!

I am obsessed with their ‘sea foam’ green pieces…aren’t they amazing?!

Last but not least, you can’t forget Kendra Scott’s signature ‘Skylar‘ earring, their signature ‘Danielle‘ earring and their signature ‘Alexandra‘ earring…both make amazing statements and celebrities have been swooning over them…I mean can you blame them?!

While all the jewels were exciting, I must say one of my favorite parts of visiting the Kendra Scott showroom was the lovely reps from the company…they truly have that southern charm (the company originates from Austin, Texas). They truly love the product and the fact that Kendra is an independent business woman who just came up with this massive idea is inspiring!

Happy Wednesday Loves! Finally sharing my NYFW diary part 2 from my day two adventures at NYFW! It was a busy day…there was the Storefront X RePop Room Brunch where I stopped by to see my friend Marrin Costello and her fabulous jewels…then I was off to Fashion Shenzen a runway show at Lincoln Center showcasing different Chinese designers and their impeccable designs. After visiting Lincoln Center I was off to the Kendra Scott showroom where I tried on some bling and even got to keep a beauty as well 😉 Lastly, the day wouldn’t be complete without an outfit change for my last event with Simple Skin Care and Caravan Studios at the Carlton Hotel! Wouldn’t be a brunch without starting off with a little green juice…in a shot glass 😉 I love Marrin’s pieces they are gorgeous with the druszy’s…I’m slightly obsessed. I actually connected with Marrin Costello through my blogger gal pal Cara…that’s what I love about blogging…networking and always meeting new people and making new friends, especially friends that are talented jewelry designers 😉 Next up Fashion Shenzen. They had a show at Lincoln Center and a presentation at the Hudson. Personally, while I love a classic runway show…for blogging purposes, presentations are so much nicer to snap pictures at! After some fashion came some more bling at the Kendra Scott showroom. At the Reward Style party, Kendra Scott gifted bloggers this gorgeous druszy ring and invited us to their showroom the next day for some more sparkle…naturally I had to take a photo of my bling. After getting blinged out it was time for an outfit change and I was off to the Caravan and Simply Skin Care party that took place in the penthouse of the Carlton Hotel on….Madison Avenue, Missy made her way back to Madison ;)! Say My Name…

Happy Tuesday Loves! Can you tell I was listening to Destiny’s Child while writing this post? ‘Say My Name’ is one of my favorite songs and my other bit of inspiration for this post was Bravo’s new series called ‘Jersey Belle’ where Jersey native Jaime Primak Sullivan leaves the world of cannolis and the Sopranos for the preppy and fully monogrammed town of Mountain Brook, Alabama. I love how there was an entire episode just about how much southern women love their monograms. Bath towels, shirts, even underwear…all with their monograms…a little overboard, but nonetheless I’m kind of obsessed myself! Shop Dandy has all the monogramed pieces you are craving (they are a Southern boutique, so it’s only fitting they stock up on monograms!). I bought this lucite pencil holder (which I so cleverly turned into a places to store my makeup brushes) and an oversized signature key ring…it solved the whole loosing my keys in my oversized purse problem instantly 😉 I also love C wonder for great monogrammed pieces. I’ve gotten signature cuffs and jewelry boxes from them. Helps me remember who I am on days that I get so busy I practically loose my mind 😉 I also love Graphic Image New York / GiGi NY for some great leather and monograms…clutches, planners and phone cases…all with my stamp of approval, my initials <3Shop My Picks Below <3

Happy Sunday! One of my favorite ways to spend Sunday Funday is with a little cyber retail therapy (My closet loves it…my bank account, not so much). Anyways, what better way to get some opinions on pieces I’m lusting after than to share them with you! {Click through above to shop the pieces or share them !}

I’m obsessed with the Isola heels from Zappos (I have a feeling those will be an impulse purchase…oops) and I can’t stop staring at that ‘Too Cool For School‘ swimsuit from Net A Porter…I mean come on, tell me that baby isn’t instagram worthy haha!

On a side note, I feel like my blogger friends and I are constantly saying when we go on weekend outfit shoots or little adventures, ‘That’s totally instagram material’…makes me once again realize the importance of social media. While some may hate that people think this way, it’s reality. Perception and first impressions are everything…even when it comes to your instagram feed. What a person posts in a way says a lot about them…in addition what you wear speaks volumes as well, that’s why I will forever be online shopping whether people judge me or not…#SorryNotSorry 😉

TGIF! I decided to embrace a little green today with a great day to night essential…a chic pencil skirt! The lovelies over at Mixx Collection created this piece just for me and added a little sexy to a usually ‘professional’ and conservative piece. Now with me…being conservative is occasionally boring…why not live on the edge and sex it up a bit right?Since the skirt was a full ‘Pop Of Color’ on it’s own, I decided the best way to style it was to go neutral! Sometimes you can’t have a color overflow otherwise you look like a rainbow…which in some occasions may be suiting, but for a day to night look I think let’s let one piece pop…the skirt!You can never go wrong with a classy pair of black suede pumps. These ones are by Steve Madden and are super comfortable…once again knowing me they were on sale although I can’t guarantee where from haha {shopping problems} If you guys didn’t get sick of me rocking my black studded Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag then you will love this one 🙂 The size, shape and design of this bag is perfect and now I bought it in a unique color scheme…sometimes one color gets old soooo I opted for brown with a neon trim 😉 Stand out ladies!Layered jewels and chic sunnies are always a good idea my friends. Sometimes the bling and the shades pulls the entire look together…especially classic tortoise shell shades and simple dainty pieces like my Hamsa Hand necklace, Star necklace and Skull necklace 🙂This picture is a bit of a ‘Flashback Friday’ moment not with the outfit, but with how I used to have my dad take all of my outfit pictures in front of my house in the morning before heading to work when I initially started my blog. Now months later I upgraded…to my little sister haha (keep it in the family) and to a nice Canon t3i Rebel camera <3

With Father’s Day Around the corner I am appreciating my dad more than ever…including his ‘Words Of Wisdom‘. If you haven’t read them please do…they are priceless pieces of advice that I wish I would listen to more often hahaShop My Look <3
