I hope ya’ll had a great weekend! I am busy prepping for Mike + I’s upcoming trip to Disney next week so that means a lot of shopping + outfit planning hehe :p This outfit is definitely being packed! I love wearing white jeans year round, especially paired with chambray (if it’s a button down like this…even better)! This casual chic look was the perfect opportunity to debut my newest shoes I am OBSESSED with from 7 Dials – the Benina Pale Gold Metallic Oxford Platforms.
Whether you wear them for work or play, they are sure to stand out. I have been loving the platform oxford trend ever since I saw a few pairs from Stella McCartney I was lusting after, luckily with an affordable price point + style + comfort to match, these oxfords are PERFECT for jumping in on this trend which I think will stick around for a while.
I’ve always had a thing for chambray no matter what the occasion or season. There is something about a chambray button down that just matches with everything + is a great casual yet dressy top idea.
I stock up on my chambray tops + jeans at Old Navy (including these white Rockstar jeans that are currently on sale). They always have sales + I find that their denim fits me well + is great quality that lasts me a while.
This top + pant convo will for sure be in my suitcase for Florida. (Last time I headed to Orlando it was actually pretty cold so jeans were essential).
I seriously can’t get enough of these 7 Dials shoes. They are beyond comfortable and the gold hue matches with everything, making it my current go-to when I am opting to not wear heels or sandals.
They are currently on sale for under $60 + are perfect for the office as well as any occasion! A serious must-buy!
This Gucci camera bag will also be coming with me to Disney because it is the perfect size, easy to wear + fits all of my essentials I will need at the park. Now I call that a win/win!
Happy Tuesday everyone! After a long holiday weekend (which was much needed in my opinion :p), I am happy to be back to the normal grind + hustle! I have been pretty swamped focusing on building up my social consulting business + designing a new site for it (stay tuned…I am perfecting the design hehe), being a boss lady ain’t easy…let me tell ya haha However, one of my highlights of the long Labor Day Weekend (other than the amazing sales) was being able to meet up with some of my blogger friends – I have been out of commission for a little bit since I’ve been drowning in work + the blog, but heading to a comedy show + some brunch was the perfect way to catch up with some of my favorite gals!
Now we all know the saying goes ‘No White After Labor Day‘. Well I made it pretty obvious last week that I fully intend on wearing white wayyyy after Labor Day…especially white skinny jeans! I linked to some of my favorite pairs HERE (all affordable btw :p)!
This outfit is one of those moments that I feel white jeans simply dress a look up making it perfect for work or play. I would totally wear this look to the office — comfy jeans, a chic cold shoulder top (this one is from Make Me Chic + is under $20!!) and a bag + shoes sure to make a statement…what’s better than that?!
These jeans are from Old Navy + are my favorite pair since they have some stretch and don’t break the bank!
I am continuing to LOVE the cold shoulder trend, so this top is perfect for fall since it has the long bell sleeves that can be worn for work or play!
You all know I LOVE a ‘Pop Of Color‘ as part of all my looks, so pairing blue suede shoes + a cobalt blue satchel seems like the perfect combo if you ask me 😉 It never looked so good to be ‘blue‘ haha
The old saying goes ‘No White After Labor Day‘…well I am firmly against that belief (as if that weren’t already obvious hehe :p). I LOVE wearing white jeans year round and decided to share some of my favorite looks featuring white jeans AND rounding up my current picks. Whether you are looking for a skinny fit, distressed style or flared out look, I got ya covered with these picks that are all under $200 from Nordstrom, ShopBop + Old Navy!
This chic look is a favorite of mine for the office or even date night 🙂
I just feel that white jeans really pull a look together. They are crisp, clean + can easily be dressed up or down! I think fashion rules have pretty much gone out the window as of late — I mean nowadays everyone just dresses how they like 😉 My personal preference? WHITE JEANS way after Labor Day hehe I suppose I am guilty of confessing a fashion faux paux!
And the moment we have all been waiting for…it’s Friday! I am excited to relax this weekend and try to get better from being sick the past two days (ugh I am the worst sick patient ever). I have been so out of it the past two days and can’t wait to really just take a moment to catch up on e-mails and also hopefully see some of my friends this weekend…after commuting in during the week for work usually on the weekends I just crash and try to avoid going out but with an outfit this cute…I think I may have to have a girl’s night…what do ya think? 😉
We are at the halfway mark…it is Wednesday and the weekend can’t come soon enough. I’m not sure if it’s the weather or if I have just been completely overwhelmed lately, but I have been so exhausted to the point where I find myself half asleep when attempting to blog (sorry if I begin rambling and not making any sense :p) When organizing my iPhoto library (one of the many things on my to-do list) I came across this look shot pre-winter snow and forgot how much I LOVE a black floppy hat.
In the spirit of Coachella this weekend, I definitely plan on incorporating this hat into future spring looks…because this is my mild version of a flower crown haha :p Speaking of Coachella, I really wish I was going to be there this weekend, but no…I get to stay here in rainy NYC #SoNotFair
