Spring is in full swing + one trend I can’t get enough of is POLKA DOTS! Ok…to be honest, I always loved polka dots…year round haha so spring is no exception! But polka dots on an off the shoulder blouse is even better. White jeans is also my signature go to for spring so pairing it with polka dots + a brightly colored pump really seals the deal!
I got this polka dot off the shoulder blouse from Mod Cloth a few months ago but I found a few similar styles below (all under $50).
My white jeans are from Old Navy and are currently on sale for 40% off! (That’s what I love about Old Navy…there is always a sale :p)
How cute is this bag?! Camera bag that legit looks like a camera…isn’t it perfect?
I had to stand out a bit with a pop of color so why not red? I feel like red matches with polka dots perfectly!
Happy Tuesday + Happy Thanksgiving Week! I can’t believe Thanksgiving is just days away and it’s finally beginning to feel like fall/winter here in LA. ICYMI, Sunday it rained all day…naturally the day one of my client’s has a big event that is outdoors it rains in LA (ain’t that always how life works haha :p) But…even a little rain didn’t stop the city of Beverly Hills from coming together for the ‘Holiday Lighting Celebration‘ (more about that here).
Now that LA temps are getting lower, it’s time to begin dressing a little cozy…naturally that means wearing something I would wear in warm weather but layer over a faux fur vest. I always go through phases throughout the day where I am super hot one minute but freezing the next, so jeans, a cute top + a faux fur vest (like this one from Tart Collections) is the perfect winter outfit in LA!
There is something so crisp + clean about wearing white on white. While most people say white isn’t always flattering, if you find pieces that fit you properly + style them the right way, winter white is the epitome of chic. I have been personally obsessed with white distressed skinny jeans (like these ones from Nordstrom) + this bell sleeve blouse that I found at Heavenly Couture in Venice (similar style from Urban Outfitters here) ♥
I have been loving bell sleeve blouses all year long honestly, so these two picks are great to add to your closet for year round wear!
Want to be cozy but also not get overheated? This faux fur vest from Tart Collections will do just the trick (seriously the quality is amazing).
I usually keep my jewelry pretty simple, but I LOVE this gold lariat necklace (especially around the holidays) because it is bold enough to make a statement but doesn’t look tacky (that’s always my concern when where less dainty pieces).
Here are two of my favorites:
So this look is pretty much black + white 😉 Black accessories + black shoes are always essentials for your wardrobe since they can go with absolutely everything!
Happy Monday Loves! Summer is here + I am feeling ‘picnic in the park’ kinda vibes (is that a real thing? because now it is haha)…meaning it’s time to sport some gingham :p Old Navy has become my go-to shop for all things summer…from my white jeans to this gingham printed top, I am ready for work, play and everything in between! This was shot right around the block from my new apartment in Burbank…such easy, breezy vibes ♥
My top comes in a variety of prints (I think this gingham print may be sold out — not 100% sure) 😛 But here is the link to a similar style. It’s tough to wear gingham without looking like a complete picnic table, but I found a way…pair it with skinny fitting white jeans! These Old Navy Rockstar jeans are super comfortable and can be easily dressed up or down.
Happy D E C E M B E R! I cant believe it’s officially the Holiday season + that it is December. My first December in LA…filled with sunshine, a light breeze and the ability to wear my summer + fall favorites year round…Y A Y! It’s still crazy to me to think I get to shoot outfits in Beverly Hills (this park is just a few hundred feet from the famous ‘Beverly Hills‘ sign that I see the TMZ Tour Bus stop by every time I am in the area — maybe they think I’m a celeb :p jk…one day right? #wishfulthinking).I have always favored white as my hue of choice when it comes to jeans. I am obsessed with white jeans — perfect to wear with sweaters, button downs, chambray tops and even with this cold shoulder blouse! I feel white looks so chic and wearing white jeans in the winter really makes a statement! Some of my favorite white jeans are here (btw they are at all different price points + fits)
Another trend I have been loving as of recent are cold shoulder tops. This one is from Kohls and is no longer available, but below are a few of my current favorites (I may or may not have ordered 1 or 2 of them #oops :p)!
As for the rest of my look…my blue Ray Bans are pretty much on every Holiday Gift Guide list + are great for any season — always have that extra ‘Pop Of Color’ :p
These Vince Camuto high heeled gladiator sandals are comfortable, chic and the nude hue is perfect for year round wear (oh yea and since there is no snow in LA, I can actually show off my pedicure year round + wear these :p)
