Christmas Eve Glam…

Merry Christmas Eve ladies and gents! Every Christmas Eve my family has the tradition of my siblings and I going to my grandparents house, opening presents and having some quality family time (which due to our busy schedules tends to fall to the wayside). The holiday season is the perfect time to catch up with family, friends and of course…rock some glam pieces from your closet…duh! That’s my favorite part of the holiday season…dressing up 😉 All black everything…jk just my Dora Landa NY Lace & Faux Leather Top and my Catherine Malandrino for Kohls Drop Waist Skirt (which also has hints of lace…can you spot them?). Both pieces are timeless classics and will forever be mixed and matched from season to season.While I went simple with my black on black top and skirt, my accessories definitely added some much need ‘sass‘ to this look. I tend to wear a lot of black around the holiday season because you can always dress it up with the right shoes and handbag and even…jewelry, which is exactly what I did here!My jewelry is from Capwell + Co…scored at a sample sale (both pieces are in my Poshmark closet here + here) because I always try to snag a great deal (luckily with Capwell + Co all of their pieces are affordable!). I found a similar amethyst cuff and amethyst ring (both on sale now) here + here.I instantly fell head over ‘heels’ for A) this gorgeous purple bow bag that is (drumroll please) from Target! + B) these stunning leopard ‘Valentino Rockstud’ inspired pumps (available in my Poshmark closet here).Skirts or dresses are always my go to when it comes to getting ‘glam’ for any occasion and yes that even includes family affairs for Christmas 😉 What girl doesn’t love to play dress up when given an excuse?On a side note…I am SUPER excited to share that Christmas came a little early for me…I got a pretty awesome present and in true ‘Christmas’ fashion, I won’t reveal it till tomorrow when I share some present sharing glam on the blog 😉 So check back tomorrow to unwrap my exciting gift that guess what…will keep on giving!| Click To Shop My Look |

Winter Wear…

Why hello there and Happy Friday! It was brought to my attention by my mother dearest that she finds it ‘~~annoying~~‘ when I write ‘Hello Lovers’ or ‘Happy (insert day) Lovers’ at the beginning of all of my blog posts so I’m going to attempt to switch things up (because mom knows best after all…right?). Well that little comment A) made me laugh / smile because she actually reads my blog + B) made me wonder what is one thing that drives my readers’ mom’s nuts that they do? Is it a phrase or word you gals use? Is it a certain type of food you like to eat? Is it a musician you like? The possibilities are endless and I’d LOVE for you to share with me what bugs your mama dukes (hey if we ~~can’t~~ laugh and joke about it who else will?) :p

Ok, so besides discussing what irritates our mothers, let’s take a moment to break down a new winter outfit (that yes is FINALLY weather appropriate) 😉 Yes, I acknowledge that some of the outfits I share aren’t ideal for the cool temperatures this winter has brought to NY, but hey like I said…I wish it was spring/summer year round #SorryNotSorry My love for an Old Navy cable knit sweater has become quite apparent this week on the blog (I wore this brown one on Wednesday here + I wore the baby blue one yesterday here)…I guess you can say a classic cable knit sweater has become a winter staple for me! It can be dressed up or down and truly keeps me cozy at all times…which is essential for this bitter cold weather which I so desperately need to escape haha (can you say vacation?!)I always wear white when I want, how I want because I rarely ~~follow~~ the rules (hey if I did it would only be worn a few months out of the year and I would miss it dearly). So white skinny jeans and a white puffer vest (which I am selling on my Poshmark here) were bound to happen…winter white anyone?I have the toughest time finding tall boots because my calves require ‘wide calf’ in almost every style but then when I get wide calf they fit too big and are unflattering…well to my surprise my friends over at NYLA solved my quandry with these OTK (over the knee…don’t worry I just picked up on that abbreviation about 24 hours ago) suede riding boots that stretch around your calf similar to the Stuart Weitzman 50/50 boot except these beauties retail for under $75…making them a ‘MUST’ in my book.Because I occasionally like to be ‘matchy matchy‘ I had to rock my last year’s Christmas gift to myself…the Louis Vuitton Neverfull in Damier. This bag comes with me everywhere…and I literally mean everywhere…Target, Manhattan, JFK…you name it, it’s been there along for the ride.I try to keep the accessory game on point at all times so here ya go: Mirrored Aviators, Caravelle New York Watch, Stone Necklace, Initial Triangle Necklace….and they all make great ~~last minute~~ Holiday gifts 😉 😉 I actually (for about all of 10 minutes before freezing) felt like embracing the winter weather…like I mentioned short lived 😉 | Click To Shop My Look |

Thanksgiving Glam…

Happy Thanksgiving Loves! Time for some turkey, family time and of course shopping! I can’t believe how Black Friday now became something that starts on Thanksgiving so get ready, get set and start shopping…beginning with my super glammed up look here 😉 Hey why not look spectacular while eating five thousand calories in one sitting right?! My shaggy coat is the perfect holiday gift because A) it’s warm and B) it’s stunning duh! I love it <3 Super snuggly and it’s just the proper dose of glam any look requires. Under my shaggy coat is a simple white Old Navy sweater…a piece that every fashionista needs. As if my shaggy coat wasn’t snazzing up the look enough…I had to add a dash of Carrie Bradshaw with a tulle skirt…this time it’s in black so it can actually be worn for any occasion without seeming ‘Sex and the City’ esq like it looked in pink in my ‘J’adore Friday‘ post here.Can’t go wrong with a little bling 😉 You can shop some of my pieces from my Gift Guide here!I’m wearing my ever favorite Rebecca Minkoff ‘Affair’ Bag…and ladies this makes the PERFECT holiday gift for the fashion lover in your life.
