This leopard skirt is perfect for date night or a girl’s night out. I paired it with a simple black ruffle off the shoulder bodysuit which I suggest everyone invest in! You can style it so many different ways year round + there are a ton affordable options everywhere!
I went classic + simple with my accessories. I am a firm believer black will always be in style so black patent leather pumps are a must-have for every fashionistas closet. I find myself wearing them constantly with so many different looks.
I wear this pearl Gucci belt constantly! It makes such a statement + is a great way to add a little ‘bling‘ to any ensemble.
Another key piece to add to your collection? A little black bag like this mini bag from Gucci. Fits all my night out essentials + matches with everything, definitely a must-have.
Loving leopard as much as me?

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner + I am taking time to soak up every little bit of love around me. One of my favorite types flowers are roses, makes sense since my middle name is rose (fun fact) so it made sense I had to style this Tadashi Shoji Rose Print Tea Length Dress for Valentine’s Day (can you get any more romantic?) ♥
I love the romantic print of this dress. I think it is great to wear to for date night, a winter wedding or any special occasion. The rose print just gives it an elegant + classy feel for my + to let the print take center stage, I paired this gorgeous dress with neutral shoes, bag + accessories.
The length of this dress is great to dress up + make a statement. When I slipped it on I felt like I was heading to the Met Gala haha That is what I love about Tadashi Shoji…his designs are impeccable + are just the right amount of glam.
I invested in this Gucci mini bag a few years back + wear it all the time when I go out. It is the perfect size for when you are heading out or going to a special event.
These black patent leather heels are a must-have for every gal’s wardrobe. They are classic, match with everything + will last you years!
Winter weather got ya down? Even though it has been a bit chilly here in LA, winter blues aren’t keeping me down. Instead of wearing neutral colors + always dressing cozy, I love adding a bit of chic to my winter wardrobe, especially with a great Pop Of Color like this one! 2019 is gearing up to be a busy year with business, the blog + travel so I am investing in multipurpose pieces that stand out + help me feel beautiful + confident. Funny to think a few years ago I would avoid maxi dresses like the plague (I always felt I was short + they would make me look stocky) but when I found this cobalt blue beauty it was love at first try on 😉 hehe Safe to say I will be wearing this beauty all season long + well into the spring.
I absolutely love this dress + while I got it at Rainbow Shops, I found a bunch of similar styles at varying price points below. Cobalt blue has always been a favorite color of mine. When I look at blue it just makes me happy + it really pops when you wear it!
I kept my shoes + bag simple since the dress really steals the show. You can’t go wrong with simple black ankle strap heels (definitely a pair of heels every gal should have in their wardrobe) + a classic black Gucci bag. This Gucci mini bag is great for night events, date night etc – it is convenient in size + has room for all your essentials.
♥ Date Night Style…one of my favorite looks to share here on the blog ♥
My boo + I just had a date night the other day when we heading to Weho for a comedy show with one of my favorite actors / comedians, Tim Allen. I love that his show ‘Last Man Standing‘ is back on the air + I find him hilarious so when I saw him doing stand up in Weho, I had to go hehe:p
I wore this outfit out that night + figured I’d share it with ya’ll! I love a good slip dress + this one from Amaryllis Apparel that comes in two colors is the perfect go-to for your next date night or night out with the girls!
ICYMI – Amaryllis Apparel has become one of my go-to’s for fashionable apparel at an affordable price. This mesh inset slip dress is just $34.99 (crazy right?!) + you can style it so many different ways…now that is what I call #winning :p hehe I had to #sorrynotsorry
Because I wore this dress for a night on the town, I paired it with a chic moto jacket + pumps.
I feel that every fashionista needs a chic moto jacket in her closet (I own well over 10 haha I have a bit of an obsession). While I am far from a biker babe, I like the edgy feel paired with an otherwise feminine ensemble like this one.
I love a classic pair of black pumps, that’s why I invested in these Ralph Lauren Purple Label ones a year or so ago. Some pieces are worth investing in when you will get a lot of wear out of them, that’s how I feel about bags + now I am beginning to feel that way about shoes.
This week has been gloomy in LA, causing me to stay cuddled up in doors and in my comfy clothes while packing up my entire apartment to move this weekend. Moving is beyond stressful, why?Because now I have begun actually sifting through my closet and separating pieces I want to bring, pieces I am going to list on Poshmark (follow my closet + sign up with code ‘MISSYONMADISON‘ for a $5 credit towards your first purchase), + pieces I am going to donate…kinda reminds me of the Sex and The City movie where Carrie is giving up her apartment to move in with Big and her and the girls dance around to Aerosmith while making their Take or Toss piles haha. Basically was me today, minus the girls BUT I am going from my own place to a new place with my boo so I feel Carrie’s struggle with attempting to downsize her wardrobe although I now have my own office with TWO walk in closets :p Every bloggers DREAM ♥
Anyways…after we are all moved in to our new place, I am looking forward to a much needed date night + with LA’s gloomy weather to kick off spring, I wanted to share one of my signature go-to looks for a night out! Whether you are heading to happy hour with friends, dinner with your boo or a late night movie, I LIVE for these Hue Leatherette Leggings because they suck you in, accentuate your curves + match with any top for any occasion.
I seriously LOVE these leggings, I have been posting about them for years (#notsponsored lol) + I never get sick of them, not to mention the quality makes them durable to last for years of wear. I have been wanting to try the whole patent liquid pants trend from this past season, but I always go back to my trustee Hue ones (what can I say, I am a creature of habit hehe :p)
For a night out I pair them with a sheer top like this one + I wear a bralette or bandeau under it to avoid showing too much skin (definitely not risque enough to do the whole ‘free the nipple‘ trend haha). It’s a great way to dress sexy but also look classy and put together if it’s a dinner date etc.
I always wanted a pair of rockstud pumps however I still can’t get myself to splurge on expensive shoes (just bags haha) so these are a look a like version and I found a similar version from Sole Society here.
